Ghyll Beck House Bed and Breakfast

This little B&B is excellent. We had a warm welcome from Paul the owner who is a really friendly guy & made us feel at home. Our room faced the main road with lovely views of the field & sheep opposite & was spotlessly clean as was the whole place. The room was a good size & the bed was comfortable & shower was good. The breakfast was to a very high standard. It is well situated between Kirby Lonsdale & Ireby but you do need a car. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wow! What a wonderful B and B. We booked based on reviews and the reviews weren’t wrong. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was in the room and couldn’t fault anything. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with plenty of choice from cereal, yoghurt, full English or egg on toast. You can choose your breakfast from a tick list which was great for us. The location is perfect in between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Rebecca and Paul are wonderful friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. We definitely plan to revisit.

This bed and breakfast is really lovely and Paul and Rebecca were lovely hosts. We just stayed one night for a weekend away whilst visiting Ingleton Falls. It was a really clean and tidy place and the room was well equipped. The beds and pillows were really comfy. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning, which was cooked really nicely. Lovely stay all round!

Great hospitality, Paul and Rebecca were the perfect hosts, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.. Lovely B&B very clean and tidy would highly recommend and would return.. Great location for Ingleton Waterfalls..

A really nice traditional B&B, which is fantastic value for money and has great hosts! We loved everything about our stay, from the great breakfasts in the mornings, to the stunning landscape of the surrounding area. Such a great stay!

A rather challenging experience. My partner and I had hit traffic during to the property, rang and informed the owner. The owners response was really quite rude and borderline insulting, due to the traffic we we going to miss the check in cut off, due to this the owner refused us check in and told us to find somewhere to else to stay, this was at 8pm. My partner in particular didn't wish to stay at the property at all after this exchange, however we did find somewhere else to stay that night and checked in the following day. The room and property was well kept and pleasent, the interaction with the owner was significantly more pleasent in person. The owner also mentioned we should go via ******* to request a refund. Following our return home, I have requested to refund and had the owner refuse the request going back on the statements/impression given during our stay. Though the stay it's self and the property were nice the interactions with the owner, inflexibility regards arrival time which was unavoidable on our part and then being misled regards the refund have certainly leth a rather fowl impression of the experiance putting a downer on our weekend away.

2 night stay at Ghyll beck house. We stayed in the king mountain view room, and it did not disappoint. Paul was a great host, and catered for my partner’s dietary requirements (gluten and diary intolerance). The bed was by far the comfiest we’ve been in away from home. A great place to stay for the Yorkshire dales, Ingleton and Kirby Lonsdale are great villages to visit, we had some lovely meals in both.

Fabulous stay - running late, due to traffic, so texted Paul was absolutely fine about a later arrival. Arranged an earlier breakfast for us on Saturday and Sunday as we were out early. Lovely, clean and comfortable room. Fabulous tasty breakfast . Paul was friendly and let us meet their lovely dog, also recommended a great pub for a meal.
