Kamares Boutique Hotel & Spa Ioannina

The hotel looks simply stellar in an old town house very close to the city center. Parking is possible directly opposite the hotel. Beautiful appointed room, immaculate clean, comfy bed - great friendly staff. Breakfast was good, too. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful hotel. Both the room and the public areas are decorated with a nod to Byzantine heritage but with style and thoughtfulness. Our room had a powerful shower, mini bar with complimentary items and Nespresso machine. The breakfast offering also included a cooked to order selection. The staff were all so helpful and lovely, making the whole experience. Please book this hotel if you are in Ioannina- it's a gem.

This gem of a boutique hotel will delight. The location, decor, service, room all exceptional!! If you are staying in old Ioaninna this is a great choice. Just a short walk to the lake, the fort, so many restaurants. The value for money is excellent!

Amazing boutique hotel through the history of the Ottoman era, the family was fabulous who run the hotel amazing hosts, would recommend it to anyone who would like to see something different and love history. We where there during the Christmas period and the hotel was lit up with a beautiful Christmas tree and a fireplace

The most excellent place to stay while in Ioannina. Great rooms in the old clasical style, and the stuff extraordinary. Very nice building and great breakfast. Definitely will stay there again. Thanks for everything

This has to be one of the most charming hotels I have ever been to, and I have been to many all over the world. Hotel Kamares is a small boutique hotel and spa. We stayed in a suite which was so special, and cozy. It’s well appointed, clean, and charming with a Greek ethnic feel. There are no elevators to go upstairs to the rooms so if you can’t take steps this is not the hotel for you. That being said, the breakfast area is beautiful and quaint and has amazing coffee and a nice choice for breakfast. I had two wonderful massages while I was there, and the prices couldn’t be beat. I recommend the exfoliating salt and sugar massage. As far as the staff, they couldn’t be nicer. All of them were so wonderful, and all the little extra touches were so appreciated. Always giving us water and snacks for our day trips. When we return to Ioannina, I will look no further for a hotel. We will definitely stay in the Hotel Kamares again. For those who want to stay in town walking distance to the lake and many restaurants it’s the place to stay.

The term "boutique hotel" is a bit overused - but not at Kamaras. Everything in the room (and in the hotel) was carefully designed to give you a special "boutique" atmosphere in a great money for value rate. Add to that that the staff was very helpful - they helped us order food, recommended us on places to visit and more

Small and super stylish Kamares hotel offers ottoman flavor interiors with excellent service and a fantastic breakfast. Very well located. When we were there in July 2022, lots of road construction was taking place on all sides of the hotel which made access a bit difficult especially with the roll-on luggage but the staff kindly brought everything in from the parking lot. Very kind and accommodating staff.

I have been to many beautiful place and hotels, even in Palaces there is usually room for improvement... But here I have to say that i couldn't fault it on anything! Staff is efficient and friendly, historical building, delicate and typical decoration. It is very rare to see that even the smallest detail has been thought about. breakfast was generous and delicious. We will be back !
