"Hello there. First, the hotel is a little far from the bus station, but to be honest, it is a very good spot, especially if you want to sight see the beauty of Baguio because of the amazing views when you eat at their restaurant or dining area. The staff is quite accommodating but not so friendly. We also need to rent a hair dryer worth 200php deposit, but it is okay for us. My sister ordered a beef burger steak which is quite similar to the Jolibee burger steak, which is quite delicious, she said, but for me, I ordered a chicken teriyaki, which is just okay for me. The room has no window, so we need to go downstairs to feel the breeze of coldness in Baguio in the morning and do a little jogging. And the restroom is quite a little smelly and dirty when the yellow stains are in the toilet bowl, which is quite annoying. But overall, even though there are disadvantages, I still enjoyed the experience of this hotel because of the baguio feel. I hope next time they will improve their services and facilities and also the staff will be nice and more friendly. Thank you uphill hotel Baguio"

"Room and bath were clean and spacious. Check in was excellent and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was not to my taste. "Nice being here. The location is not too remote, about 5km from Burnham Park. The place itself is newly renovated, the amenities are not too bad. It was not too clean though, they should clean before new guests moving in and pay more attention to insects. Also, the toilets flush was not working probably."

"We had a generally good stay at the hotel. The hotel's location is about 8-minute ride or 20-minute walk to Burnham Park. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It was, however, quite too dim to our liking. The veranda was a bit cramped but the view was amazing especially during the night. The staff were kind, approachable and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Breakfast was delicious and had a decent selection. We just also hoped they had provided us water bottles on the second day (they only provided on the first day). While there is still room for improvement in some areas, we were satisfied with our stay. ☺️"

"Die günstige Lage ist sehr gut, die günstige Lage ist sehr gut. Am Tag 1 war das Zimmer in akzeptabler Reinigung, aber wir wurden trotz Buchung mit mindestens Fensterblick mit keinem Blickraum geplatzt. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung wurde nur zur Kenntnis genommen, dass das Bett hergestellt wird, Handtücher geändert, aber das Badezimmer nicht gereinigt, Glas und Wasserbehälter nicht gereinigt. Der Boden wurde nicht gespült oder leer. Frühstücksoptionen sehr begrenzt und hatte das gleiche Menü für 2 Tage in einer Reihe , dann nur 1 neue Gericht am 3. Tag geändert. Keine Tee-/Kaffee-Herstellungseinrichtungen in den Zimmern und musste sie aus der Halle. Kein Komplimentarwasser im Zimmer und musste von der Hallway Wasserdispenser pro Stock holen. Lage weise, sehr nahe der Stadt und Spazierweiterung zu Session Rd, SM, Camp John Hay, Kathedrale und Pink Sisters. Erfordert Verbesserung mit Einrichtungen, Restaurantmenü und Aufmerksamkeit auf Parkplätze."

"Wäre für alle Kategorien 5 Sterne bewertet, aber wenige ehrliche Meinungen:
1. Wifi-Verbindung braucht Verbesserung. Durchschnittliche Geschwindigkeit ist 10MBps. Netzwerk ist nicht sehr stabil. Netzwerk wird jederzeit und dann abgesagt.
2. Dusche muss 10 Minuten sein, bevor das Wasser warm wird (nur zu Lukewarm). Wäre ein Plus gewesen, wenn das Wasser ohne Abwasser erhitzt und wenn das Wasser warmer wird als Lukewarm.
Insgesamt, angenehmen Aufenthalt. Echt guter Preis für Geld. Bett ist wirklich komfortabel und das Personal ist angenehmen.
Die Lage ist wirklich, wo es am besten ist, 5Min zu Fuß zum Burnham Park, das das Zentrum aller Dinge ist. :)"

Transportation is easy with taxis right outside. It’s 2.1 km from the city, costing around ₱100–₱150. Breakfast is delivered on time, the WiFi is fast, and YouTube works smoothly."

GGastnutzerDas Zimmer wirkte beim Betreten unheimlich. Ich betete ein Ave Maria, und das beklemmende Gefühl verschwand. Irgendwie fühlte sich die Unheimlichkeit in der Nähe der Toilette stärker an. Zum Glück haben wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht.

CChrish_OGThe family room #2 that we got is super spacious!! Its bigger than my actual house. The location is quite good, a lot of taxis drive by the area. You just have to walk uphill to the hotel (if you are walking from Burnham Park) and downhill to get to the main road. The breakfast meal was ok. They will ask your preferred breakfast a day before, and in the morning, they will knock on your door to ask what time you would like to eat. The comfort room is also big, and the hot shower is thankfully working very well. There is also a walk in closet spacious enough for your luggage. The staffs were very nice and accommodating. But… Of course there were downsides during our stay. First, when we entered the room, the room hits your nose with a very slight hint of cat pee. For cat owners, you know the smell when your cat pees on your carpet or curtain? And it was not cleaned right away? I guess a stray cat got inside the room and marked it, or delivered a litter of kittens. Since its a very subtle smell of cat pee, the smell kinda disappears… or my brain just forgets the smell. 🤣 another thing is that there is a separate room for the 2 single beds. We ended up sleeping altogether on the double bed because none of us wants to sleep in the other room. The double bed was a little to firm for our liking. The check out time is too early, which is 11:30am-no extensions. We ended up checking out at 8am (since we have a tour) and left our luggage in front of the front desk lobby. No room service available as well, since they have a restaurant/dining hall where every guest should eat.
Am I going to stay here again? Probably yes, but I would probably ask to stay in another room, if I get assigned to room #2 again. 🤣

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient — close to restaurants and attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. I also enjoyed the breakfast; it was delicious and had a good variety. Overall, an excellent experience. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, and we especially enjoyed their taho, which comes in different flavors.

GGastnutzer1. The host is quick to respond. On the first day I found out that the kitchen cabnets were not clean and the sink was clogged. The host quickly sent people to clean the cabinet and unclog the sink.
2. There is a small store on the main road, just around 10 minute walk from the condo. You can buy a small bottle of oil so you can cook in the condo. The place is quiet so having a cup of tea in the balcony is a really good experience. Regarding transportation, you can take grab or jeepney so you still get around in Baguio pretty easily.
3. This is not a hotel. It's more like airbnb. You need to get connected with the host on whatsapp or viber to inform the time of your arrival and departure for the key handover and takeover.
4. Generally, staying in this condo is a pretty positive and relaxed experience. Recommned for people who would like to have some laid-back and slow-living vacation in Baguio.

1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

KKSD31We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant.
The room was also clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom it was spotless, with no signs of prior use or any foul smells. However, the lack of an exhaust fan meant that any odors stayed trapped inside. Additionally, the room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air circulation. While there was an air conditioner, it still felt like the air wasn’t circulating well.
Breakfast was just okay nothing special. The selection was quite limited, so you’re left with only what’s available. Compared to Elizabeth Hotel, which is more affordable and offers a more appetizing breakfast buffet with a wider variety, this was a bit of a letdown.
As for amenities, the hotel offers a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which is great in theory. However, their location in the middle of a restaurant makes it awkward to use since you’ll likely have an audience while swimming.
We also tried the Japanese restaurant on the mezzanine level. The food was good and affordable, but the sashimi was cut too thick about an inch which made it difficult to eat.

Our stay at Hotel Urban Khotel (Kurban Hotel) in Baguio was truly enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. They were consistently polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, which really made a difference in our overall experience.
The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. Rooms, hallways, and common areas are spotless, and you can tell that housekeeping takes pride in their work. The rooms are well-kept, comfortable, and provide everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Another highlight is the location. The hotel is conveniently situated—close enough to the heart of Baguio for easy access to popular spots, yet far enough to enjoy a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a great balance for both relaxation and exploring the city.
The unlimited breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The food was tasty and filling, giving us the energy we needed to start our day of sightseeing. A bit more variety in the menu would be nice for guests staying multiple nights, but overall, it was a great perk.
What we really loved was the view from the hotel—absolutely beautiful and one of the things that makes this stay memorable. Waking up to the cool Baguio breeze and a nice view is definitely a bonus.
Overall, Hotel Urban Khotel (Kurban Hotel) exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-located, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and great views—everything you’d want in a Baguio getaway. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

GGastnutzerThe hotel and staff were fine . The amenities over the road were excellent. Great restaurants and patisserie. Location was a nightmare to get to and from Baguio centre . But that was mainly due to it being the busiest most unfriendly city in the Philipunes. Not to be recommended to westerners
