The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay

Whenever we go to Baguio, we always stay at Forest Lodge. Why do we keep coming back? Because they will always make you feel at home. Sometimes unexpected situations come up and that’s the time you will actually witness what cuts this hotel above the rest. I was recently diagnosed with asthma and since I wasn’t aware of all my triggers, I didn’t know that the fumes and the delicious smell from the kitchen would worsen my condition. Our rooms were close to the kitchen and I kept coughing so hard that my husband called the nurse. The manager (Neil Dominic), the nurse and the bellboy came to my rescue. They transferred us to a different floor in just a few minutes. The nurse checked my oxygen and even bought me my prescribed meds from the *****tore to make me feel better. After that, I was getting well already and yet, the manager and the nurse kept checking on us. They also told us that there is a standby shuttle ready to take us to the nearest hospital anytime. They delivered service beyond my expectations in such a short time. Our whole family feels we are really safe and well-taken cared of whenever we are there. Because of this, I will always call Forest Lodge my home in Baguio. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay there this Jan 2024. We look forward to seeing you soon.

it took us quite long during check-in. Better not to book under ctrip. The rooms on Ctrip was under private party, not under forest lodge(it seems tgat forest lodge sold some rooms to private party). Hence, you have to collect room key from private party, all the services will only be provided by this private party. but there is no way for us to find this private party as the contact number left in our bookong details is the line of forest lodge, and the staff refused to entertain us as the room we booked via ctrip is privately owned and has nothing to do with them. After some negotiation, the hotel staff talked to the private party and gave us the room key. This is the most weird check-in i have experienced. after check-in, no tissue in the room, they said run out of stock, this is very funny, its your duty to make sure the room supplies are sufficent for customers. the service standard is below market standard....

Great place for a short holiday. Avoid rooms at the same floor as the lobby as they can be noisy with high foot traffic. Walk around the property and visit the sauna at the Manor for a well-deserved reprieve.

Overall the hotel accommodation was very good, except that since we were at the lower floor, we could hear the incessant barking of the neighbor's dog. It would be good also to have a safe for valuables and a microwave to heat food considering that the city gets quite cold especially at night.

Very nice & classy place very near to all. Will surely back again here once we go back to baguio the food is also delicious and the staff was friendly 🤩🤩🤩

Our experience here was good. The room was clean and spacious. The service and facilities were good. We will stay again here in our future baguio vacation.

생가보다 서비스 너무좋네요 다만 시끄러워서 잠을 설침 거리가 애매하네요

시내에서 거리가 먼것은 좋치 않았다. 밤7시에 시내에서 택시를 잡는데 1시간30분동안 기다려야 했다.. 직원들은 친절했고 호텔안에서의 생활은 너무 좋았다. 다음에 재방문 하고 싶다..

Staff are very friendly and accomodating. We had a great time staying on a rainy season. No need to roam the city when you can just stay cozy within the hotel or walk around the compound. The kids enjoyed the playground and the lights on the garden. Best part is that everything is within reach minus the city crowd!
