"Wir besuchten Dali und waren von unserem Zimmer dieses Mal wirklich begeistert. Die Lage, das Ambiente, die Schallisolierung, die Sauberkeit und die Raumaufteilung waren alle sorgfältig durchdacht. Man merkte, dass der Besitzer einen guten Geschmack hat. Wir blieben zwei Tage, den ersten in einem Standardzimmer und den zweiten in einem Zimmer mit Meerblick. Beide Aufenthalte waren fantastisch. Das kleinere Zimmer war exquisit und gemütlich, während das größere luxuriös war. Badezimmer, Projektor und andere Annehmlichkeiten waren allesamt von höchster Qualität. Der Meerblick mit Blick auf die Kreuzfahrtschiffe war atemberaubend. Es war genau so, wie der Verkäufer es beschrieben hatte. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"Dieses Zimmer war das teuerste, das wir in Dali hatten, und es war auch das Hotel, an das ich die höchsten Erwartungen hatte. Es sah aus wie ein umgebautes Apartmenthotel.
Vorteile: Gute Lage, neue Dekoration, insgesamt eher im Stil der Internet-Promi-Fotografie. Die Wohnung, die ich gekauft habe, blickt auf den Erhai-See und die Aussicht von der obersten Etage ist gut.
Nachteile (sehr objektiv und nicht böswillig):
1. Der Erhai-Park und der Xiaguan-Pier unten sind zu laut, um nachts zu singen und tagsüber zu hupen, und der Klang der Dekoration am Morgen ist zu unverschämt. Es fühlt sich an, als ob sie ohne Vorbereitung geöffnet wurden.
2. Der gesamte Raum ist 60 Quadratmeter groß und die Dekoration ist sehr einfach und sogar grob. Dusche und Toilette sind in einem so großen Raum nicht so groß wie bei 30 Quadratmetern. Es gab nicht einmal einen Platz zum An- und Ausziehen der Kleidung. Die Toilette und die Dusche sind nicht zusammen und es gibt keinen Ort, an dem man den Müll wegwerfen kann. Man muss auf die gegenüberliegende Seite gehen, um ihn wegzuwerfen.
3. Es ist schwer zu verstehen, dass es in einem so großen Raum keinen Kleiderschrank gibt, sondern nur einen einfachen Fön an der Wand und einen baumförmigen Kleiderbügel.
4. Da das Zimmer zu neu ist, sind die Fensterlüftungen klein und es riecht nach Gras und Boden. Wenn Sie das Fenster öffnen, ist es ein Dilemma.
5. Der Farbunterschied des Projektors ist sehr gravierend und extrem gelblich.
6. Da das gesamte Hotel wie andere Hotelketten intelligent verwaltet werden möchte, aber nur Lichter, Vorhänge und Projektionsgeräte verwalten kann, ist es wirklich verwirrend.
7. Ich persönlich bin der Meinung, dass Plastikduschprodukte, undichte Duschköpfe und beengte quadratische Tische den Geschmack und die Textur des gesamten Raums stark beeinträchtigen.
Der Preis ist noch unglaublicher...
Zusammenfassend würde ich, wenn ich gebeten würde, es zu bewerten, nur drei Punkte für den Service des Chefs geben, 2 Punkte für die Lage und Aussicht und 3 Punkte dafür, dass es nicht einfach ist als Arbeiter Geld verdienen."

"Der Standort ist nur wenige hundert Meter vom Südtor der Altstadt von Dali entfernt. Die Gasse ist sehr ruhig. Wenn Sie das Hotel betreten, werden Sie den antiken Stil spüren und der Innenhof des Vierecks ist so wunderschön.
Der Regen machte die Szene interessanter. Der Chef hat das Zimmer aufgewertet und ich konnte mir Kleidung aussuchen und Selfies machen. Außerdem bekam ich eine Kanne Pu'er-Tee, der mit geschnitzten Pflaumen hervorragend schmeckte. Der Chef ist sehr nett und es gibt ein paar Phönixe, die die Gäste willkommen heißen.
Übrigens sind die Frühstücksreisnudeln des Hotels köstlich und es gibt auch einige gute warme Gerichte.
Siheyuan-Häuser sind in Dali selten und ich habe mit diesem die richtige Wahl getroffen. Liebe Liebe

"Wir waren drei Freunde auf Reise durch China, Dali war unser erster Ziel. Das Xianlai Inn hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Lage ist sehr angenehm am Anfang der Altstadt Dalis - es war zwar nachts mal etwas lauter, aber nicht so laut wie wenn man noch tiefer in die Altstadt gehen würde. Dennoch ist alles gut erreichbar, sowohl viele Restaurants als auch Fahrradverleih.
Die Zimmer sind sehr schlicht gehalten, nicht besonders gut, nicht besonders schlecht, man nächtigt dort gut aber mehr auch nicht. Dafür ist die gemeinsame Terasse sehr schön um Abends zu entspannen.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service, sowohl die Besitzer als auch die Reinigungskräfte waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Besitzerin schickt einem direkt zu Beginn einen Guide mit Spielinformationen und Restaurantempfehlungen in Dali, alle sehr lokal und köstlich. Einmal hatte die Besitzerin für uns auch spontan Plätze in einem Hotpot-Restaurant reserviert, sehr zuvorkommend!
Das einzige was auszusetzen ist, dass sehr viele Mücken in das Zimmer kommen - auch wenn das Zimmer immer verschlossen war, mussten viele Viecher geklatscht werden. Außerdem hatte das Zimmer einen strengen Geruch wenn die Klimaanlage nicht lief, ich schätze mal von der Feuchte.
Alles in allem aber trotzdem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, würde jederzeit wieder kommen, vorallem für den Preis"

"Ich war vor fünf Jahren einmal in diesem Gasthof und habe sehr schöne Erinnerungen daran. Ich habe den alten Ort noch einmal besucht und mich trotzdem für diesen entschieden. Erstens ist es sauber und hygienisch, sodass sich die Menschen dort sicher fühlen. Zweitens ist die Ausstattung sehr umfassend, sei es die Ausstattung der Zimmer oder der öffentlichen Bereiche, alles ist sehr komfortabel. Der Chef war sehr begeistert. Er beantwortete nicht nur geduldig alle meine Fragen, sondern empfahl mir auch die fotogensten Orte im Gasthof.
Im Gasthof gibt es viele schöne Pflanzen, die der gesamten Umgebung Vitalität und Wärme verleihen. (Ich liebe es auch, Pflanzen zu züchten, aber ich bin nicht so gut wie der Chef! Hahaha, Bild anbei!)
Die Lage hier ist großartig, oben gibt es einen tollen Platz zum Fotografieren und jede Aufnahme ist wunderschön. Wenn Sie am frühen Morgen oben stehen, können Sie den Nebel sehen, der die Dächer der Häuser in der Stadt bedeckt – ein Gefühl der Ruhe und Schönheit! Ich empfehle Ihnen dringend, früh aufzustehen und es zu erleben. Kurz gesagt, das Aufenthaltserlebnis ist angenehm und sehr zu empfehlen!"

Rric123The guest house owners were very initiative. They picked us up from the Dali Railway station. The rooms were clean. Since there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a big room and a smaller room joined together with 2 large beds. The view was amazing.
Upon arrival, it was 4.45pm, and we asked for recommendations of where to eat. However, since it's neither dinner nor lunch time, the owner Mr Hao suggested that we eat in the guesthouse itself. The guest house auntie cooked for us the best rice noodles that we have eaten so far. Springy white noodles in a bowl of hot flavourful broth. My kids slurped it all up and polished the whole big bowl.
When we asked for recommendations on local eating places, Mr Hao gave us a whole list of his specially curated food places, which we managed to try 2 of them. And indeed they were good.
The downside was that there were no coffee or tea sachets in the room. But they said they will make it for us and can send it to our rooms. They mentioned that they have a tea room. And so we enjoyed the 2 types of brewed puer tea while Mr Hao explained a little about the tea.
Personally, I feel that since they have a special tea room to enjoy tea, sending sachet or tea bags would be inappropriate and a disrespect to the art of enjoying Puer tea.
Location wise, it has a good view of the lake. And it's quiet. It's not exactly near the old town but we took a taxi (20 mins) to the old town. Thankfully, we didn't stay at the old town as it's way too crowded, and we felt it's a tourist trap. However, near the guest house, there were many highly recommended restaurants.
The guest house has a dining area on the 1st floor. One thing that I really enjoyed about this place is the dining area. The lady that cooked the meal for us looked like a typical chinese grandma (which reminded me of my late grandma) that she cooked the food so deliciously with passion. While we had our breakfast she would sit at another table, she wasnt staring , just casually sitting while browsing her phone or ensuring we finish our food but her presence reminded me of when my late grandma would sit and watch us eat to ensure we have no leftovers. Lol. It was an oddly familiar and nostalgic feeling that we laughed about. But we do get the homey feel, which we really liked. The guest house also had a laundry room for guests to use.
The guest house owners were very initiative, friendly, and helpful. Anything we need, we just let Mr Hao know, and he would reply. He even offered to send us back to the highway station.
It's definitely highly recommended. And I would ask my friends that should they come to Dali, they should stay in this place. It's just perfect for us.

XXNYLMy friend and I enjoyed our stay in the 'Yunxi 270° Seaview Terrace Double Bed Room' at Dali.Muxi Inn (大理木兮·半山Villa海景民宿). We found this hotel via reviews on XiaoHongShu and the room looked exactly like the stock photos. The hotel and room were beautiful, the hotel staff were very helpful, and we would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dali and are looking for a hotel with an amazing view of Dali Erhai lake.

Hotel location: The hotel is situated in a quiet but brightly lit residential/hotel estate at the end of winding uphill road (around the Dreamland/Santorini 圣托里尼大理理想邦 area), and is located about 20 minutes away from Dali Railway Station. The vehicle drop-off point is directly outside the hotel. The restaurants around the hotel close at about 8.30pm-9pm
Room: The 'Yunxi 270° Seaview Terrace Double Bed Room' is the only room located on the fifth floor. There is a lift in the hotel so it was convenient to transport our luggage. The room was perfect - it was really spacious, beautiful and clean. There was one king-sized bed, which was slightly too soft for my liking, but the pillows (one soft and one firmer memory foam pillow for each guest) were comfortable. There was a large living area with a sofa, three coffee tables and two additional chairs; balcony with two comfortable rocking chairs, a coffee table and a stunning view of the Erhai lake. SSongmingyuIch habe am Tag vor meiner Abreise aus Dali in einem Hotel mit Meerblick übernachtet. Vom Balkon aus konnte ich den endlosen Meerblick genießen. Ich hatte eine weite Aussicht und eine angenehme Stimmung. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und ordentlich. Die Gesamtdekoration war sehr passend für junge Leute. Die Vorräte stammten von relativ guten Marken. Das Team im Laden besteht aus mehreren begeisterten jungen Leuten. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Abhol- und Bringservice vom Flughafen, ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und die Schalldämmung ist sehr gut. Ich werde dieses Geschäft das nächste Mal wählen.

MM305336****Die Pension war sehr sauber und lag mitten im Dorf, wodurch es nachts außergewöhnlich ruhig war. Ich war bereits zum dritten Mal in Dali und hatte zuvor in der Altstadt gewohnt, die mir zu laut war. Diese Pension hingegen war nachts sehr ruhig, nur ab und zu krähte morgens ein Hahn, was mich aber nicht störte. Sie schmiegt sich an den Cangshan-Berg und blickt auf den Erhai-See, von dessen Dachterrasse man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf beides hat. Die Pension war zudem sehr sauber, und der Besitzer, ein pensionierter Soldat, war unglaublich gastfreundlich. Das Frühstück war köstlich, mit Reisnudeln, die von der Frau des Besitzers zubereitet wurden. Dieser Ausflug nach Dali war ein besonders schönes Erlebnis. Die Pension liegt ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt von Dali, und im Laden des Besitzers kann man sogar Elektroroller mieten, was wirklich praktisch ist.

MMimi_Wang1This was our only homestay-style hotel during the entire trip. It’s as good as some other well known 5 star hotels. I’m pretty happy about it! The entire hotel gives off a very warm and homey feel.
Our room is new and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable!!! I also love the Le Labo shower products!
The service is good and feel very personal. Staff are friendly and helpful! There’s no coffee in the room but staff will make you coffee and bring it to you upon request. And many other things they will help you.
The location is convincing yet very quiet it’s also reachable by car.
One downside is that the room is a little small and lacks storage and surfaces to put things on. My friend and I are on a 1-month hiking trip, so we had a lot of things. Space is probably okay with people with fewer things.

NNEWJCloud House Hotel is hands down the best lakeside stay we've ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond 5 stars — the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring. They even came to pick us up and carried our bags, which was such a thoughtful touch.
When we wanted to explore the lake on an e-bike, they not only showed us where to rent one but also helped communicate with the rental shop. Truly above and beyond! In the evenings, they served delicious snacks and even prepared a comforting midnight soup — it felt like home.
One of the most memorable moments was when I requested a piece of cake for my kid’s birthday. The next morning at breakfast, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated plate and a complimentary slice of cake. My child was overjoyed and said it was the best birthday ever! The cake was not only thoughtful but also absolutely delicious.
We were also lucky to be upgraded to a room with the best view — waking up to the stunning lake and mountain scenery was magical. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very comfortable.
To top it all off, the whole hotel is beautifully designed and incredibly Instagrammable. There's even a super cute cat that made our stay feel even more homely and warm. Halal food is conveniently located just about 100 meters away, which was a huge plus for us.
We absolutely loved everything about Cloud House and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended!

As a Malaysian traveler exploring Yunnan, I stayed at a homestay apartment near Erhai Lake—and here’s my honest take:
✅ Inside the homestay: Very clean, well-furnished, and cozy. Everything was nicely prepared and felt like a proper home. The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right from our window—perfect for sunrise lovers.
👩💼 Host experience: The homestay staff was incredibly friendly and understanding. She even arranged a free ride from the railway station, which we truly appreciated after a long day of travel.
🚧 Outside facilities: This is where it gets a bit mixed. The overall apartment complex (including the parking lot and elevator) felt poorly maintained, and the atmosphere at night was dark and slightly eerie, especially for solo travelers or couples. Many neighboring units seemed unoccupied, which added to the quiet, empty vibe.
📍 Location: Take note—this place is about 50 minutes from Dali Ancient City, so it’s not ideal if you’re planning to explore the old town daily. But if you want to relax by the lake and enjoy peace and views, it could work.
Overall: Great homestay unit and host, but the apartment surroundings and distance might not suit everyone.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, an einem wirklich außergewöhnlichen Ort mit einem unvergesslichen Blick von einer Bergklippe auf den atemberaubenden Erhai-See zu übernachten. Die Atmosphäre war einfach perfekt, und das frische, kalte Wetter trug zum Charme des Erlebnisses bei. Die Architektur, sowohl innen als auch außen, vermittelte mir das Gefühl, nach Europa versetzt zu sein und vereinte Eleganz mit behaglicher Wärme.
Das Personal war außergewöhnlich und sorgte dafür, dass sich jeder Gast willkommen und gut aufgehoben fühlte. Ihre Liebe zum Detail und ihre Gastfreundschaft haben das Erlebnis wirklich bereichert.
Dieser Ort bietet Natur und Luxus in Reinkultur und ich kann ihn jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der einen unvergesslichen Urlaub verbringen möchte.

GGastnutzerDas Mogu House Inn ist ein toller Ort, wo es sich sehr nahe der Dali Ancient City befindet, die in der Tat ein Garten von Einkaufen und Essen auf traditionelle Weise ist.
Die Entfernung zur Altstadt ist ca. 100 Meter entfernt und leicht zugänglich.
Wir beginnen mit dem ersten Tag, an dem wir an den Dalis Bahnhof angekommen und die DiDi-Kabine zum Innenhof genommen haben, die etwa 30min Fahrt ist. Die Lage des Innenhauses ist in einem Kaffeehaus und es ist entlang einer freundlichen Hügel, wo die Straße für die Gepäck zu beherrschen ist. So kein Problem bewegen.
Bei der Ankunft wird der Innenbesitzer Sie willkommen heißen und helfen, in den Gepäck für die ganze Familie zu transportieren. Viel schätzen Sie Ihre Hilfe.
Das Frühstück ist mit einem anderen Gebäude verbunden, das auch von den Besitzern gehört und ich muss sagen, die Nüsse sind großartig! Yummy und hatte 2 Kekse jedes Essen. Erinnern Sie sich daran, einen Essensgutschein zu bekommen, bevor Sie zum Essenshall gehen.
Das Zimmer ist angenehmen und sauber mit intelligenten aktivierten Dienstleistungen wie Temperaturkontrolle und Garteneinstellung. Obwohl das Zimmer, das ich reserviert habe, ist auf der zweiten Etage, es ist nur kurze Schritte nach oben.
Das Inn bietet auch selbstwäscheservice, die sich am oberen Stock befindet. Es ist ein Wasch- und Wärmepumpen Trocknersystem, wo das Reinigungsmittel selbst versorgt ist. Also keine Sorge, dass Sie aus Kleidung rauslaufen. Tatsächlich ist frische Kleidung jeden Tag, wo der Trockner es wirklich in einen Schrank trocknet.
Am Ende des Aufenthalts wollten wir Transport zu Lijiang buchen und die Eigentümer helfen uns ganz klar viel und der Preis ist sehr vernünftig und sparen uns viele Probleme.
