"Wir würden zum ersten Mal nach langer Zeit auch englischsprachig begrüßt und somit war die Kommunikation auch ohne google translate möglich. Es wurde kostenlos ein Scooter zur Verfügung gestellt um den See zu erkunden und auch sonst wären sie sehr freundlich. Unser Standardzimmer bekam direkt ein Upgrade auf ein Cozy Room. Wäsche waschen war auch kostenlos und einfach. An einem Nachmittag gab es auch Tanz und Musik."

"Ein Fünf-Sterne-Apartmenthotel, das diese Fünf-Sterne-Bewertung absolut verdient! Das Apartment lässt keine Wünsche offen: Blick auf den Erhai-See, die nächtliche Stadtkulisse, unseren geliebten Mahjong-Tisch, Wein und vieles mehr. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, und obwohl wir keine Zeit hatten, sie zu nutzen, waren alle Gewürze vorhanden, haha. Der Besitzer war außerdem sehr herzlich, erklärte uns alles und baute den Mahjong-Tisch auf. Daumen hoch! 👍 Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag hier! Zimmerdetails: Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist riesig und bietet einen atemberaubenden Meerblick, ein eigenes Badezimmer und eine Badewanne. Die beiden anderen Zimmer sind ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit Tür und ein halboffener Raum mit Vorhängen. Wir teilten uns ein Badezimmer. Die Betten waren sehr bequem 🫶🫶🫶 Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!"

"Die Mitarbeiter waren zuvorkommend und nett und konnten teilweise sogar Englisch sprechen (Seltenheit in China). Der Raum war schön eingerichtet und sauber - obwohl es einige kleine Macken gab wie beispielsweise dass das Waschbecken dauernd verstopft war (Zuschluss wurde von der Servicekraft auch immer wieder reingesteckt) oder dass dir Betten teils muffig rochen. Trotzdem wurden die Zimmer gut gesäubert. Die Hotellobby sieht tatsächlich so aus, wie es auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Schade fand ich, dass es zwar Waschmaschinen gab, aber keinen richtigen Wäschetrockner. Es gab zwar einen Trockner (ein unkonventioneller Trockner der funktioniert hat wie ein riesiger Ofen), der hat aber nicht so gut funktioniert. Das Hotel ist in einer Seitengasse und kein Ort um die Draußen-Aussicht zu genießen. Aber da es direkt vor der Altstadt ist, ist die Lage top! Für den Preis aber ein insgesamt schönes Hotel."

Remember that no vehicles are allowed inside the Ancient city, so you have to alight outside and walk into the narrow alleyways with cobblestone streets. There are no lifts inside such heritage buildings, so it is advisable to travel light without the big luggages. The owners have 2 cute cats too! It is located away from the noisy streets, so we enjoyed some tranquility away from the crowd."

"We stayed here for 2 nights. We chose this place because we can see the lake view from the 3rd floor, and it's located about 25 minutes from the train station. For transportation, we mainly use taxis. The staff here are helpful, but they may not speak English, so it's recommended to download a translation app. The room is well-equipped for tourists, clean, safe, and has a beautiful view. "Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt nach April 2023, und wir waren erneut sehr zufrieden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die angesichts des abendlichen Trubel in der Altstadt recht ruhige Lage. Etwas hellhörig war es, was aber den insgesamt positiven Gesamteindruck nicht trübt. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Drei Pagoden oder der See sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Geschäfte und Restaurants der Altstadt ohnehin. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, aber stilbewusst eingerichtet; unsere Zimmer verfügten über einen kleinen Balkon, der zum Verweilen einlud. Das Frühstück ist einfach, lokaltypisch, dabei sättigend und schmackhaft und wird direkt am Tisch serviert. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch funktioniert mithilfe von WeChat und Übersetzungsprogrammen gut. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Wahl, die wir – insbesondere zu diesem Preis – uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen."

"Wir waren drei Freunde auf Reise durch China, Dali war unser erster Ziel. Das Xianlai Inn hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Lage ist sehr angenehm am Anfang der Altstadt Dalis - es war zwar nachts mal etwas lauter, aber nicht so laut wie wenn man noch tiefer in die Altstadt gehen würde. Dennoch ist alles gut erreichbar, sowohl viele Restaurants als auch Fahrradverleih. Die Zimmer sind sehr schlicht gehalten, nicht besonders gut, nicht besonders schlecht, man nächtigt dort gut aber mehr auch nicht. Dafür ist die gemeinsame Terasse sehr schön um Abends zu entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service, sowohl die Besitzer als auch die Reinigungskräfte waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Besitzerin schickt einem direkt zu Beginn einen Guide mit Spielinformationen und Restaurantempfehlungen in Dali, alle sehr lokal und köstlich. Einmal hatte die Besitzerin für uns auch spontan Plätze in einem Hotpot-Restaurant reserviert, sehr zuvorkommend! Das einzige was auszusetzen ist, dass sehr viele Mücken in das Zimmer kommen - auch wenn das Zimmer immer verschlossen war, mussten viele Viecher geklatscht werden. Außerdem hatte das Zimmer einen strengen Geruch wenn die Klimaanlage nicht lief, ich schätze mal von der Feuchte. Alles in allem aber trotzdem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, würde jederzeit wieder kommen, vorallem für den Preis"

"Dieses Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum der alten Stadt. Es ist perfekt, wenn Sie in die Stadt kommen. Zeit für Ihre Ankunft am Tag und nicht in der Nacht. GGastnutzerDas Zimmer bot einen fantastischen Meerblick, eine tolle Ausstattung und freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Ein niedlicher kleiner Hamburger leistete uns Gesellschaft. Meine Mutter meinte, die Reisnudeln zum Frühstück seien köstlich gewesen. Einziger Nachteil: Das Hotel lag nah an der Straße und war nachts wegen der vorbeifahrenden Lkw sehr laut, sodass wir nicht gut geschlafen haben.

Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. GGastnutzerEine Freundin hatte mir diese Unterkunft empfohlen, also habe ich sie gebucht, ohne sie mir genauer anzusehen. Und ich war positiv überrascht! Das Zimmer mit der Terrasse war lichtdurchflutet. Als ich morgens aufwachte, bat ich meinen Smart Speaker, die Vorhänge zu öffnen, und das Sonnenlicht strömte direkt aufs Bett und machte es warm und gemütlich. Dann bat ich den Speaker, die Klimaanlage auszuschalten, damit ich die Sonne genießen konnte – es war unglaublich angenehm. Das Zimmer selbst war schlicht und elegant eingerichtet, und die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren erstklassig. Die Betten waren so bequem, dass ich am liebsten für immer dort geblieben wäre… Der Besitzer der Pension war sehr herzlich, und die jungen Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren unglaublich aufmerksam. Wenn meine Reise nicht schon geplant gewesen wäre, wäre ich gerne noch eine Nacht länger geblieben. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

GGastnutzerDie Pension war sehr sauber und lag mitten im Dorf, wodurch es nachts außergewöhnlich ruhig war. Ich war bereits zum dritten Mal in Dali und hatte zuvor in der Altstadt gewohnt, die mir zu laut war. Diese Pension hingegen war nachts sehr ruhig, nur ab und zu krähte morgens ein Hahn, was mich aber nicht störte. Sie schmiegt sich an den Cangshan-Berg und blickt auf den Erhai-See, von dessen Dachterrasse man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf beides hat. Das Frühstück war köstlich, mit Reisnudeln, die von der Frau des Besitzers zubereitet wurden. Dieser Ausflug nach Dali war ein besonders schönes Erlebnis. Die Pension liegt ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt von Dali, und im Laden des Besitzers kann man sogar Elektroroller mieten, was wirklich praktisch ist.

The entire house is spotless, creating a calm and relaxing feeling the moment you step through the door. They also provide a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need if you feel like cooking. The neighbourhood itself is incredibly instagrammable, with picture-worthy corners everywhere you turn. On top of that, the host was extremely helpful, answering all our questions quickly and making everything smooth and easy. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dali.

Als ich gerade in den Gasthaus kam, waren die beiden Chefs und Schwestern sehr enthusiastisch, hilf mir, das Gepäck zu nehmen und mein Freund zu entschuldigen. Das Zimmer ist sauber und schlafen nachts sauber, insbesondere die beiden Gaffie-Katzen im Garten, so süß! Insgesamt ist es eine gute Gästeoption für Dali, die Altstadt zu reisen.

Sspw1309Schönes kleines Hotel, schönes Design, tolle Lage. Die Gäste waren sehr schön und hilfreich. Wir genossen den Nachmittagsthee und auch die Milch und Suppe vor dem Bett waren schön. Mit dem ruhigen Stil des Hotels würde ich eine Politik ”über 14/16” bevorzugen, da TGE Kinder, die dort bleiben, überall im Gebäude gehört werden könnten, weg von der ruhigen und friedlichen.

They were extremely hospitable as well and gave plenty of good recommendations. the room was cozy, loved the fireplace next to the bath tub. The view, both in the morning and at night, was lovely! 20 mins car ride to the old town, but its always easy to get a cab! Highly recommend this place, the hosts rlly made the stay much more enjoyable.
