NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

🌟 Der Kundenservice war wirklich ausgezeichnet, vor allem für Reisende wie uns ohne eine lokale chinesische Nummer. Wir wurden einem speziellen Privatrepräsentanten (PIC) zugewiesen, Herr Kwan, der alles ohne Mühe gemacht hat. Er war wunderbar mit Kindern, sprach gut Englisch, und sicherte, dass alle unsere Bedürfnisse erfüllt wurden. Wann immer wir eine Tätigkeit wollten, informierten wir ihn einfach, und er sandte uns die QR-Codes. Kommunikation über WeChat war reibungslos, und seine Antworten waren immer schnell, sogar am Tag frei. Dieses Niveau der Dedikation ist der beste Service!

Stepping into our room, we were delighted to find it lovely, spacious, and wonderfully warm—a cozy and immaculate retreat after a day of adventure. Waking up to the provided hearty Chinese breakfast was a daily highlight, offering delicious, authentic flavors that fueled our days perfectly.
However, what truly made our experience unforgettable were the owners. Their kindness went far beyond the expected. They were incredibly helpful with booking our activities, offering expert local advice. Most extraordinarily, they personally drove us to places in their own car, transforming simple logistics into cherished personal tours and conversations. This genuine, above-and-beyond service created a feeling of staying with friends or family, not just at a hotel.
Overall, this is more than just a place to sleep; it's a haven of personal hospitality. If you are looking for beautiful comfort, fantastic food, and hosts who truly make you feel at home, look no further. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will absolutely return.

XXingxing⭐️This was my first time visiting Harbin, and although I had read many reviews saying this resort was beautiful, I was still worried about transportation. I emailed the hotel in advance, and Coco kindly replied and even contacted me on WeChat to explain how to get there. She also arranged a private transfer from the railway station — such wonderful service!
We were on our honeymoon, and Coco surprised us by upgrading our room to a very spacious suite. It was absolutely lovely, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I loved it so much!
When we arrived, Coco continued to help us with everything. She arranged transportation for our activities such as snowmobile, horse ridge, and feeding elk. Everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations.
Since we were using an eSIM and didn’t have a Chinese phone number, Coco even helped register and generate the QR code we needed for visiting the hot springs at Club Med, feeding the deer, skiing, and driving the UTV. The service was truly outstanding.
The resort itself is perfect for a relaxing holiday. There is a Burger King, a small town area with restaurants and convenience stores, and many beautiful photo spots. The breakfast restaurant is lovely, with a wide variety of food. All the staff were attentive and very friendly.
I was genuinely impressed and absolutely loved my stay here. Highly recommended!

OOlivier22❄️ The hotel is not the most convenient choice for families with young children or for less experienced skiers, as it is located away from the city centre. Guests always need to rely on shuttles or taxis to get around. The city centre is also where the hot springs, water park, and the snow and ice attractions are located, so unfortunately a lot of time is wasted in transport.
🚐 Shuttle service is a clear area for improvement. The frequency is limited, and we often had to wait quite a while—sometimes missing two full shuttles before being able to board. Increasing the number of shuttles would make a big difference.
🎿 Ski passes are flexible: they can be used on any day, including check-in and check-out days. Usage is limited to once per night, and you can choose either daytime or nighttime skiing—but not both on the same day. However, you don’t need to use them on consecutive days, which gives families more freedom to plan rest days.
🏠 On the positive side, the room was spacious and well equipped. The bar, fitness area, ping-pong room, and yoga room were all enjoyable and added variety to the stay.
Breakfast is also quite varied and good.

GGastnutzerWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

CChaddyD41Ich hatte vor kurzem die Freude, im Park Hyatt Ski Resort in Changbaishan zu bleiben, und ich kann sicher sagen, es war eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung von Anfang bis Ende.
Bei der Ankunft wurde ich von dem Personal warm gegrüßt, das oben und darüber ging, um sicherzustellen, dass mein Eincheckverfahren reibungslos und angenehm war. Ihre Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit machte mich zu Hause fühlen. Während meiner Aufenthaltszeit blieb das Personal unglaublich hilfreich, immer bereit, mit jeder Anfrage zu helfen, ob es Empfehlungen für lokales Essen oder für die Organisation des Transports war.
Die Unterkunft war nichts weniger als luxuriös. Mein Zimmer war geräumig, schön gestaltet und bietet wunderschöne Aussichten. Die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details in der Dekoration und Einrichtungen spiegelt wirklich die hohen Standards der Park Hyatt-Marke wider.
Die Einrichtungen des Resorts waren auch beeindruckend, mit einem fantastischen Außenwärme in der Schnee, die einen perfekten Rückzug nach einem langen Tag auf den Wandern lieferte. Die Mahlzeiten waren wunderschön, mit einer Vielzahl von leckeren Küchen, die allen Geschmacksen gerecht wurde. Jedes Essen war eine kulinarische Freude, und der Service war unverschämt.
Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt war der Skizugang, die Lage ist ideal für Anfänger und erfahrene Skifahrer. Das Personal des Skiresorts hat hervorragende Beratung und Unterstützung gegeben, so dass es einfach zu genießen die Strände.
Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt im Park Hyatt Ski Resort in Changbaishan nichts weniger magisch. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel für jeden, der eine luxuriöse und erinnerliche Getaway in den Bergen sucht. Ich kann nicht warten, bis ich zurückkehre!

Sshaney.yEin wirklich einzigartiges und erinnerebares Erlebnis, das in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Von dem Zeitpunkt an, als wir ankamen, fühlten wir uns sehr gut umgekommen. Jedes Mitarbeiter, den wir getroffen haben, war freundlich, professionell und ehrlich zu unterhalten, was unseren Aufenthalt extrem komfortable und stressfrei machte.
Eine besondere Erwähnung geht an die Empfängerin H, die während unseres Aufenthalts außergewöhnlich hilfreich war. Da wir die lokalen Apps in China nicht hatten, hat sie uns mit Taxis und Nahrungsmittel bestellt, immer mit Geduld und warmer Einstellung. Ihre Hilfe machte einen großen Unterschied und wir schätzten ihre Betreuung und Aufmerksamkeit.
Wir möchten auch ganz besonders Landland danken, das uns dabei geholfen hat, alles im Zusammenhang mit dem Ski zu organisieren. Von der Organisation von Skiverleih bis zur Koordinierung des Transports zum Skigebiet nur wenige Minuten entfernt wurde alles sehr reibungslos und professionell handhabt. Außerdem nahm Land die Zeit, viele Orte zu empfehlen, um zu besuchen und detaillierte Informationen zu teilen, was unsere Reise noch angenehmer und gut geplant machte.
Insgesamt überstieg dieses Hotel unsere Erwartungen in Bezug auf Service, Komfort und Gastfreundschaft. Es ist selten, einen Ort zu finden, wo die Mitarbeiter so aufmerksam und bereit sind, die zusätzlichen Meile zu gehen, um sicherzustellen, dass die Gäste eine wunderbare Erfahrung haben.
