66 Motel

Got in late at night. Easy check in. Front desk was friendly. Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Comfortable pillows. The best bacon cheese burger baskets. Left really early the next morning. Check out was east. If you need a place to just rest and shower this will work. Nothing fancy.

If you like creaky old beds, cold showers and stale rolls for breakfast this is the place for you. Worst place we have ever stayed at. Go somewhere else or sleep in your car. Found a dirty towel in one of the beds that was already made.

I try to support local businesses wherever I can, but this motel made me question that decision. This used to be a mom and pop place that was run very well, but this new owner seems to not care about her customers. (Look at the ratings from this year- presumably when she took over). Not clean & comfortable; bugs in rooms, no towels, STRONG odor from fridges, grimy floors, etc. Conditions did not meet description by owner. Owner refused refund, despite the 5minute gap between paying, looking at rooms, and returning to her. She pulled out a handmade "no refund" sign which was not visible when we payed, she never went over this policy with us before paying. She threatened to call the cops on us when we took a photo of the office, then yelled at us when we agreed to talk to them. Police were called because she was so obstinate, rude, and threatening. Police officer told us in the short span of the past 8months he's been working as a police officer, he can't count the number of times he's been called to this motel because this lady has refused refunds to customers after they saw the poor quality of the rooms. Also- it seems like there are some guests who are permanent residents. After we called the police she walked over to another customer who was sitting outside their room to complain that we wanted a refund because the room was not to standard. (Very unprofessional)

My mom and I checked in the evening of June 3rd 2022. First impression was that it was outdated but it didn’t really seem dirty. Then later on around 12am the bed bugs came out. I found 3 crawling around on the bed I was in and 1 on the bed my mother used. We promptly left the keys and left to another motel. I am now being denied a refund because they claim “the city just inspected for bed bugs yesterday”. Absolutely the worst motel/hotel experience I have had.

Compact and dated room in need of some tlc, not all the surfaces were cleaned, shower/bath was dirty. No facilities for making a drink in the room. Shortage of plugs in the room to recharge phones etc. Noisy situation. Office claimed to be opened in morning but nobody there when we came to leave.

DO. NOT. COME. HERE. That may seem like an exaggeration, and to be honest I hoped it was. I understand that the price was very cheap and affordable, however, I think this interaction could have been better. This was such a bad experience and we didn't even get to stay in the motel. Coming up to the front desk, the woman said that there was confusion with the reservation we had made earlier. We were also notified that the website we had registered earlier was not working correctly. Even then, she refused to give us a refund for our supposed "lost reservation". She was very rude to my family when speaking to us trying to get her name as well as information to reach out to the manager and owner, to which she refused all before closing the door on us. Looking back at the photos, she is not the same woman who owns the motel. However, we will not be coming back to this place in the future. I have not stayed in the rooms, but taking a look at the other rooms will help you out.

I made a booking for a one night stay here through ********** days in advance. Upon arriving, the folks at the front desk said their WiFi wasn't working so they had no record of my booking and pre-payment through **********. Exhausted from an 18 hour drive, I showed them my confirmation and payment confirmation from **********. They took my credit card and charged me for the same amount ********** did. I was too tired to deal with anything then, and figured I'd sort out payment through **********. It's been nearly two months and this garbage dump of an establishment (which is also nasty and has people living there full time) refuses to give me my money back for the second time I was charged. They also refused my dispute through my credit card company, and hung up on multiple calls from **********. STAY AWAY.

Unprepared, uncourteous, depressing. Owner wanted to change price, and to offer twin beds instead of one Queen we reserved online. We had to find another place to stay, and Brad’s Desert was cute, respectful and clean!

Couldn't get a refund. The place is disgusting. I left for my own safety. Front desk lady showed me four rooms and all terrible. She tried to overcharge me twice. People live here weekly; it's not a hotel. It's something else. Furniture damaged, bed frames propped up with other items, two dirty towels, hair covered half used soap in the shower, and actual feces in the toilets. Don't go here, go to Travelodge or somewhere actually safe with cameras and that's gonna be cleaned. Front desk lady had the audacity to say the rooms were cleaned (by her) as I was staring at feces!!!
