Ranch Inn Jackson Hole

We stopped here coming back from The Teton National Park- so cool going through the pass road area down into Jackson Hole- this hotel was easy to find and right within walking distance to the square- we only stayed the one night wish we had more time. Room was large, fridge in room and room was clean Older room but I opted for a balcony which looked right up

We were pleasantly surprised by the Ranch Inn. While the rooms clearly have not been updated, it was spacious and clean. The location is perfect being so close to the town square. The staff was very friendly as well. We would stay there again.

Great customer service and great location. Balconies and spacious rooms with ski or luggage drop zones just inside door. Coffee all day in lobby. Quick walk to downtown Jackson square to enjoy shopping and activities. Free parking and elevator. Daily housekeeping still offered without requesting!

The hotel is way over priced. We have been on a two month road trip, through five states and stayed in motels every night. This is by far the worst one. No hot water in the morning. Plumbing bubbles all night and keeps you awake.( First time experience for that) we booked two nights. Couldn't stay second night. Got a motel just down the street, alot nicer for less money. Don't make the same mistake we made!!!

For the money paid, definitely did not meet the mark. Location was good in relation to city center. Towels in bathroom were of poor quality (was like using sandpaper to dry off). Pillows on bed were poor quality and not comfortable at all. Staff was inadequate in their knowledge of the area when asked questions about restaurants nearby and taxi service. I would definitely not stay at this location again, ever!

Positives: location. It is located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. When we first arrived, the room was clean. Older but large enough & clean. Microwave, fridge, a sink inside bathroom and a second sink outside the bathroom. Off street parking, coffee & tea in the lobby. Private balcony. Negatives: Even though I asked the girl at the front desk if we had to request for the room to be cleaned and she told me that the room would automatically be cleaned... It was not. We returned from a long day in Grand Teton to find no one had entered the room at all. No clean towels and full trash cans…the toilet backed up and they didn’t try to clear it, even though we asked them to take care of while we were gone for 3 hours or more. Someone did come in to clear it in the morning after my husband went to find a maintenance person. The parking lot is small and a little hard to get into a space. There is no breakfast, not even a donut. Towels were sparse and thin. I would normally not pay over $100/ night for this quality of room, but we ended up paying about 3 times that much. Our experience with this motel was not good and I would not stay here again.

Our reservation was for two nights but we had to leave after one night because my 77 year old wife is health compromised and tested positive for Covid on the first morning. She was symptomatic and needed to drive 900 miles home ASAP in case her condition worsened. She also needed to isolate in order to protect others. You would think that the Ranch Inn would be concerned about the health risk to their staff and to other guests and sympathetic to why we had to leave without being able to give them the three days advance notice required by their cancellation policy. We had previously made reservations for the following three nights at three different lodgings and none of them charged us for canceling due to Covid. Just like Ranch Inn, we were too late to cancel at no charge at these other three lodgings. Ranch Inn was the only one to charge us. They explained that they had to charge us in order to comply with their policies. The truth is that Ranch Inn chose to charge but had the same option, not to charge, as the other three lodgings. To be fair, I gave Ranch Inn a "poor" rating instead of "terrible" because they had a great location but the room was dingy and depressing. I wish that those making refund decisions at Ranch Inn were fair and were concerned with anything other than their profits.

What a great stay in Jackson Hole. The Ranch Inn was in the center of town and walking distance to everything. I loved how compact the town was. Right on the southern edge of the Grand Teton National Park. We had a second floor room with a porch and very nice view. It was a tad too cold to enjoy it and we did pay extra for the room. Cozy rooms with a generous space. Heater in the bathroom was a perfect addition. We did not realize how cold it was in May.

Rooms were clean but out dated and in need of upgrades. Shower head need to be replaced and couch in room smelled. Outside stair railing’s had rotted pieces hanging in disrepair. Staff was friendly. The location was good as you can easily walk to many areas in downtown.
