The hotel looks nothing like the photos previously posted. Located at the Bui Thi Xuan street, it's location is the only good thing going for it. Other than that, the hotel is dirty and there were ants crawling around the room. The cleaners are smoking in the lift lobby and the chairs are filled with cigarettes burn marks. Lots of mattresses in the stairway which is a major fire hazard in the event of an evacuation.

I had booked hotel for 10 days in December 2023, mainly based on the reviews of good location, staff, value for money etc. I travelled some 40+ hours from Europe and checked in late evening. Upon checking in I found the staff did not speak English, except to say limited words like passport and 3 percent when I offered my credit card. Nowhere in the booking via *********** did it mention 3 percent surcharge. The third word the 'receptionist' could say was 'cash'. As I was staying for multiple nights I was not carrying 20million VND with me. I offered to pay the first night with the 3 percent surcharge and exchange money the next day. This was not acceptable. The room was the 'VIP' room that I booked, so hopes were high but when unpacking, I found the safe was locked. I contacted 'reception' who sent a person to fix it but couldn't. I went down to reception to be asked to be moved to a comparable room with a workable safe. As I write, I am still waiting to hear back. Not what I was expecting tha is for sure.
