Stayed at Aulanko for one night while in a conference with my colleague. Hotel was fulöly booked and we got lucky and got upgraded to the best room of the hotel: The Presidential suite. Suite is huge - 70 sqm and consists of bedroom, livingroom, corridor / working space toilet and bathroom + big L-shaped balcony with three doors :-) Rooms are big and furnitures massive. The king size bed was ok but two chair beds were quite awfull to sleep... The views were nice (a lot of windows) but even though balcony is very long I'm not sure is it usefull in any way. All the amenities are ok 2 TV:s, bathrobes, Coffee maker, Kettle, Quite old Jacuzzi/Bathtub etc etc. The room is outdated in good and bad: There are a lot of paintings on the walls from late 1930s and nice massive furniture - on the other hand electrics are quite old and there in no aircon / fresh air vents that leads to hot summers and cold winters and balcony doors openings to get fresh air inside. There was one extra few kilowat heater and one fan on the closet ready to be used. The bathroom area is fixed maybe 15 years ago by lifting the floor 15 cm -> floors are well heated but threshold is high. Breakfast was good as the complimentary Spa. You can get this room normally with quite a good price for example for two adults and two smaller kids?
