I have stayed at the Silver Maple Motel on my past two business trips to Haliburton. It is not fancy, but very comfortable for my purposes. The property is well maintained, the unit is clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The room furnishings are spartan. Other than the two beds, here is only a love seat, a desk and a desk chair. I did not use the love seat, but appreciated that the desk was large enough for me to spread out my papers while working or in a virtual conference.
This motel has all that I want or need on a business trip and I recommend it highly for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation at good value.

Our room was clean. There was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and the tv had lots of sports channels.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.
There was no shampoo in the bathroom, but I always bring my own so it was not a problem.
The parking lot was a bit treacherous, because much of it is on a slope and there was significant snowfall overnight. However, the snow had been cleared and there is not much the management can do about the slope.
The staff are excellent. Professional, cheerful and extremely helpful.
I will stay there next time I am in the area.

Beds were very comfortable, room was clean and tv was small. Was there for 5 nights and they stuck us in a corner room, with NO windows. Figured for a 5 night rental, l would have been placed in a room with a view.

The water stank like it was bore water, even in the shower. The USB cable outlets next to the bed didn't work. The curtains are super thin and there's a huge bright light on the balcony that made it hard to sleep.

The room was clean and spacious and it was very quiet, even on a Sunday night of a long weekend. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
