I booked a room for three adults, and the booking confirmation clearly stated that the room was for three adults. However, upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that the room was for two adults and one child. They changed the room for us, and we had to pay additional costs, even though this issue was entirely the hotel’s mistake. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

Ich blieb vor kurzem in der „Maison“ und wurde durch den unglaublichen Service und die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details völlig abgeschossen. Von dem Moment, als ich ankam, ging das Personal oben und weiter, um mich zu begrüßen. Der Eincheckprozess war reibungslos, und das Front Desk Team war warm und professionell. Das Zimmer war unschön, schön dekoriert und mit allen Einrichtungen ausgestattet, die ich beantragen konnte. Das Bett war unglaublich komfortabel, sorgte für eine perfekte Nachtslafung. Die Hausaufbewahrung hat eine hervorragende Arbeit gemacht, um die Reinigung während meines Aufenthalts zu erhalten. Das Hotel wurde wirklich von der hervorragenden Service entfernt. Jedes Personal, vom Konzern bis zum Restaurantteam, war aufmerksam, freundlich und wirklich eifersüchtig, zu helfen. Ob es lokale Attraktionen empfehlen oder spezielle Anfragen begegnen, sie sicherten, dass mein Aufenthalt ungenau ist. Ich werde sicher zurückkehren und freue mich auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt. I was initially sceptical when I read over 5,000 positive reviews on this hotel, as many of them had been upgraded. However, we truly had a great time. The facility is amazing, and we stayed in building 8, which is closed to the dining area. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. The dinner buffet costs RMB 138 on weekdays and 158 on weekends. The food was great, and there was a lot of seafood to choose from. The hotel is quite close to tourist attractions, but be aware that taxis can be quite expensive. They can cost RMB 50 or more compared to the DIDI taxi . So, it’s best to order a taxi via DIDI or online rather than catching one on the street or in front of the hotel. One place you must visit is Xu Shui Ancient City, which is the most well-documented museum in Shaoxing. It’s a walking distance away and free to visit.  All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We extended three nights more , and will definitely stay this hotel in the future.

Das Hotel hat uns eine der größeren Zimmer gegeben, die bewertet werden kann. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und die frühe Eincheckung um zehn Uhr am Morgen hielte nach einem langen Flug viel. Die kostenlose späte Nacht-Kongee war gut und das Waschzimmer mit Detergent war sehr nützlich. Die Lobby hatte auch kostenlose Kaffee, Milch und Flaschenwasser, das ich ein paar Mal verwendet habe. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und das Badezimmer war groß. Das einzige Problem war das Wasserdesign, weil die Dusche und der Tauch beide auf den Boden leckten. Die Hausaufbewahrung hielt das Zimmer geräumig, aber der Teepot und die Tassen wurden nie gereinigt, auch wenn ich sie verwendete, was enttäuschend war. Es gibt einen Lawson etwa 200 Meter links des Hotels, das bequem war. Es gibt auch ein Nudelrestaurant über die Straße, das gut und einfach geschmackvoll war. Insgesamt ist ein guter Aufenthalt mit freundlichem Personal und nützlichen Einrichtungen, aber einige kleine Details müssen noch verbessert werden.

Ich war vor dem Einchecken aufgrund der vielen negativen Bewertungen auf XHS etwas besorgt, aber der Aufenthalt selbst war wirklich gut. Die Villa mit Innenhof hat einen standardmäßigen Grundriss mit einem Schlafzimmer und einem Wohnzimmer, was sehr schön ist. Schade, dass es die ganze Zeit geregnet hat, sodass wir nicht im Innenhof sitzen und Tee trinken konnten. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass dieser Ort wie ein Dorf in der Jiangnan-Wasserstadt ist, wo alle Häuser der Dorfbewohner in Gästezimmer umgewandelt wurden, sowohl an der Straße als auch am Fluss. Das Dorf wurde eingefriedet und in ein Hotel verwandelt. Es gibt Geschäfte an der Straße und es herrscht reges Treiben. Einige Gäste, die an ihren Zimmertüren an der Straße wohnen, unterhalten sich, genau wie die Dorfbewohner, die sich zum Tratschen treffen. Jeder fühlt sich wie ein Dorfbewohner, hahaha. Der Hotelservice ist wirklich gut. Alle sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Flexibilität und die Freiheit sind sehr hoch, besonders unser Butler, He Jinxiang, der Fragen beantwortete und sich sehr schnell um unsere Bedürfnisse kümmerte! Ausgezeichnet! Der Rezeptionist beim Einchecken (ich habe leider vergessen, nach seinem Namen zu fragen) und die beiden Rezeptionistinnen (Taiting und Qiuyan) beim Auschecken waren beide sehr freundlich und geduldig! Der Service war insgesamt sehr gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die smarte Toilette im Zimmer begann nachts plötzlich zu laufen und Wasser zu verspritzen, was mich erschreckte. Ich habe sie sofort ausgesteckt, sie war also wahrscheinlich defekt. Außerdem wirkte die chinesische Einrichtung nachts etwas unheimlich. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich, mit einer guten Auswahl, aber als viel los war, dauerte es etwas, bis die Nudeln und Wan-Tan kamen (die Nudeln waren aber sehr lecker). Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, und ich würde beim nächsten Mal meine Eltern mitbringen!

The hotel has both positive and negative aspects. The room was spacious and comfortable, which was definitely a plus. However, there were several issues that affected my stay. First, the air conditioning was quite noisy, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathtub also had a leakage problem, so it could not really be used for a relaxing soak. Another major concern was the noise every morning. My room was located on the 17th floor, directly below the canteen on the 18th floor. From early morning onwards, there were constant sounds of tables and chairs being dragged across the floor, which was very disruptive and made it hard to rest. Housekeeping service was also disappointing. There was no “Do Not Disturb” door hanger provided in the room. Even when I turned on the Do Not Disturb light, housekeeping staff still knocked on my door repeatedly to ask if I wanted the room cleaned. On one occasion, staff knocked loudly at around 9 a.m. while I was still sleeping, which was quite annoying. On the positive side, the hotel offers self-service laundry facilities. The washing machines cleaned clothes well and the dryers worked effectively. There is also a gym with good equipment, as well as snooker and table tennis facilities, which provided enjoyable recreational options during the stay. Overall, the facilities were good, but the noise and housekeeping issues need improvement.

The hotel staff didn't speak any English at all, but they were quite helpful. The room itself wasn't cleaned and there was clearly visible dirt on the carpet, we also got used, dirty and smelly hotel slippers - I asked the staff by using translator to replace it and clean our room because it wasn't cleaned, the promised to do this. They changed our slippers to new ones but the carpet wasn't vacuumed properly again. Apart from that it was fine. Breakfast was nice, rooms are spacious. The check-in and check-out procedure is time consuming because the staff doesn't know English and their procedures are aged - they copied my whole passport with all the previous trips to China and produced a lot of paper in the process for no reason. The check-out was done and we were asked to wait (to check if we used mini bar or something), but no one told us afterwards we can go so we waited for 5 minutes for no reason, I finally asked if we can go and only then the receptionist said yes xD

The location is the best thing about this place. You can take easy, kid-friendly strolls or go trekking in the hills and cliffs just a short walk from the hotel. It’s surrounded by postcard views — no wonder it’s often used for weddings. The pool has a beautiful view and is relatively clean, but the sunbeds were dusty and dirty. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 8 p.m., but by 7:30 p.m. there was hardly anything left to order. The menu is just an A4 sheet with small, dense text, hard to read and not very inviting. The hotel grounds have many nice spots, but most look somewhat abandoned. We also saw a staff member smoking and throwing a cigarette on the ground next to the pool. The room was spacious and overall fine, but during the holidays the price was 50% higher than usual — not justified by the experience. I accidentally left my earbuds in the room, and nobody contacted me until I reached out myself. I appreciate that the hotel sent them to me, but it would have been a nice gesture to cover the small 13 RMB shipping fee. For a hotel charging 1,400 RMB per night, that kind of thoughtfulness makes a difference. This place definitely has potential, but it hasn’t been developed.
