***** WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ***** I have now witnessed the most incompetent guest service at a hotel ever. My background is Hotels. I worked at Claridges one of the most prestigious five star hotels in London England with Gordon Ramsey as our executive chef. I also worked as the head concierge at The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff as some examples. We were trained properly to go above and beyond a guests expectations. Upon arrival we waited over two and a half hours to get checked in as we were the only ones there at the time. Unfortunately due to the horrible management of this property they left a new team member on the front desk that had only been working there for a week. (complete failure on their part) He was absolutely lost and even said while he was dealing with me that he was going to have a heart attack or commit suicide after his shift. He was so flustered trying to get any kind of help from management on the phone. Finally the night auditor showed up and was able to check-in the backlog of guests sitting around the lobby. We had a confirmed booking for 2 Queens beds and upon our arrival into our room it was a king and sofa bed. I went back down to the lobby and they said that they would deal with it in the morning as the manager would get back to me about the room and our experience the night before. (I'd also just had back surgery 5 weeks prior) Our rate for the two Queens was 169 per night. After a Week (not the next day as promised) I finally received a call from the hotel operations manager Nalini Cackryanathen about my experience. She explained I would also not qualify for the 169 as we had a king bed and would have to pay 229 instead? ***? WE BOOKED AND HAD CONFIRMED TWO QUEEN BEDS with a confirmation number. In the end they offered a free night voucher to the hotel - NO CHANCE WE WILL GO BACK EVEN FOR FREE. I asked for the owners email so I could explain what is going on in his hotel and they refused saying he's not hands on and isn't really interested in the daily operations of his property? 🤯 I guess it comes from the top down!

I had an overnight stay here and while the staff were very friendly, the hotel lacked. It is located near a more industrial area so while there are nearby restaurants (Wendy’s, Tim’s, Ben Thanh, etc), it didn’t feel welcoming. When we visited, there was a hockey tournament happening and so most of the hotel rooms had kids and their parents. We ended up with a ground floor king suite that looked out to the parking lot. So, it was a long walk past the front desk, past the hotel laundry (and the smell of bleach), the cleaning supplies room, and hotel laundry before getting to our room. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. It felt odd as when the curtains were open, we just saw cars parking and people coming and going. The floor had smalls bits of debris on it, so it clearly had not been vacuumed recently. That made me wonder about the cleanliness of other areas. They seemed clean, but if the floor was not done, then other areas could have been easily skipped too. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet. The coffee was terrible, but the self-made waffles were good.

(Typisches Frühstück) das Hotel ist direkt neben einem Mall, das ist ein Mall mit frischco(?) und einige asiatisches Essen so ist es in Bezug auf die Lage ziemlich gut!

Bleibt hier, während unsere Tochter in die Unterkunft in U of G bewegt wurde, und reserviert hier, da sie einen Rabatt für die Einbeziehung von U of G als Eltern und Heißes Frühstück hatten. Dieses Hotel befindet sich im industriellen Teil der Stadt und es gibt keine Restaurants in der Nähe von Gehstrecken (per Front Desk beim Einchecken). Es ist eine 10-15 Minute Fahrt zur Universität abhängig vom Verkehr. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber, aber es gab einige Wartungsprobleme. Ein Ausgang am Sofa hatte nur einen funktionierenden Plug. Die Dusche leckt überall im Badezimmerboden hinter dem Toilette aufgrund eines schlechten Designs und mit einem Duschegarten, das nicht an der Wand stickt, um ein Siegel zu bilden. Die Badezimmertür ist sehr schwer zu öffnen und zu schließen und hat sich entweder verschoben oder hat aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit geschwollen. Der Tub füllt mit Wasser während der Dusche, so dass die Abwasser natürlich ziemlich schlecht gereinigt werden muss. Die Küche ist klein, aber funktionell für eine Person zu einer Zeit. Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle waren sauber. Betten und Kissen waren komfortabel und waren doppelt groß (wie angekündigt). Die Sofa war NICHT ein Ziehen, obwohl es gesagt wurde, dass es auf unserer Buchung sein würde. Das Frühstück wurde in Abnahmebehältern serviert, weil es nicht groß war, es war essenswert. Kinder reservierten den Pool zu nutzen, aber es war so kalt, dass sie es nicht genossen. Es scheint nicht heiß zu sein. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob das aufgrund von Knöchel und Mangel an Verwendung oder was, aber es musste auch gereinigt werden. Meine Tochter benutzte den Fitnessraum am Morgen und sagte, es gab Cobwebs auf einigen der Ausrüstung und es gab nur eine 35 Pfund Dumbbell. Es gab eine Laufbahn, eine elliptische und ein Fahrrad. Das Front Desk Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Es gab keine Hausaufbewahrung wegen der Kleider, aber sie würden zusätzliche Gepäcktaschen liefern, Sie setzen Ihr Gepäck in den Halle und sie waren ziemlich schnell, um es zu entfernen. Insgesamt würde ich den Aufenthalt für einen langen Aufenthalt hier nur für die Komfort der Küche erwägen. Wenn ich für das Wochenende nur kommen würde, würde ich für Komfort näher an die Universität bleiben.
