Visite el alojamiento con mi pareja y no hay una sola cosa negativa que pueda decir. Jairo fue desde el primer momento ENCANTADOR con nosotros. Nos dio un zumo de frutas de bienvenida, nos explicó cómo ir a la Alhambra y nos indicó lugares de interés turístico. Nos informo a la perfección del procedimiento del desayuno y hasta nos propuso un cambio de habitación a una mejor que nos acabó encantando. Se ofreció a subirnos las maletas y estuvo en todo momento con una sonrisa en el rostro. Al irnos del hotel nos dio una botellita de agua para el viaje. Respecto al alojamiento el detalle, cuidado y mimo con el que está decorada cada estancia es sublime. La terraza ofrece unas buenas vistas. La ubicación es buena pero, recalco una vez más lo mejor es el trato del personal, sobretodo Jairo y ¿Fran era el otro chico? Da gusto encontr**** con un personal que te haga sentir tan agusto y cuidado. Si algún día vuelvo a Granada ya sé dónde alojarme. GRACIAS

Stayed for 2 nights on a room only basis. Spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Rooms have a good mini fridge, and there is a kitchen next to Reception with a kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Bus stop outside goes to the Alhambra for €1.40. Good selection of bars outside the hotel, and about a 10 minute stroll to the Cathedral, or Bib Rambla all on the flat. At the start of the narrow road to the hotel is a roundabout. Here is the Marquis’s sister hotel - great for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bread, coffee and a large bowl of fruit & yogurt will set you up for the day for under €10. Just around the corner you can catch the C32 bus to Albaicin for €1.40. Lovely views going up a very steep climb. Get out at St Nicolas Square at the top. There are a couple of cafés next to the square where you can enjoy a coffee or beer, with the most amazing views of the Alhambra, then catch the bus or walk downhill (about 20 mins) back into the centre. We were worried about driving and parking in Granada, so we parked up in a little town outside of Granada, called El Fargue (coming in from Murcia), and caught the N8 bus in. Cost €1.40, and travels down the only main road through every hour, just after the hour, to Jardines del Triunfo, which is the other end of the main Gran Via de Colon - a 15 min flat stroll from the hotel, or a 5 min taxi ride. N8 bus returns to El Fargue from the same place at half past the hour. Saved the stress and expense of driving and parking in the City. Very successful. We will certainly do it again, and we will also stay at the Marquis Urban again.

Die Rezeption liegt zwischen 8 und 22. Am nächsten Tag wurde die Luft vernichtet und wir baten um Zimmerwechsel für die schlechten Nachbarn, die wir hatten. Sie haben uns ohne Probleme und mit viel Freundlichkeit geändert. Es gibt keinen Mini-Kühlschrank. Gute Lage. Große Räume sind nicht schlecht für den Preis.

Thanks to Hotel America - its location, restaurant, comfortable room, and super friendly and helpful staff - I was able to see and experience everything I had hoped for inside the Alhambra and nearby neighborhoods in just a few days. Every morning I woke up to the famous scents of the Alhambra - orange blossoms, roses - outside my courtyard balcony, and after a perfect cafe and tostada de jamón y jitomate in the courtyard cafe, I beat the crowds to the gardens and monuments. I was up and down the hills all day in wonder and yet just steps away from my (cozy) room to rest up or grab something. I had one meal at the fancy Parador next door but was happy that I chose to stay in a smaller, friendly and more casual place where I enjoyed chatting with the staff including wonderful Sandra and Angela. Gracias a todos for making my stay in Granada una maravilla.

Ich denke, es könnte das Zimmer Serena de Amarillos gewesen sein. Das Bad war auch riesig, obwohl es keine Dusche hatte, nur ein Tub. Obwohl wir die Toiletten nicht verwendet haben, wie wir unsere eigene hatten, Gar Arnat hat mehr als ich in einem Hotel, vor dem es ein schöner Kontakt ist, gesehen. Es gab einen Kühlschrank mit Wasser, das war großartig. Es gab auch viel Zimmer zu sitzen und eine Glas Wein in der Nacht, und alles war sehr sauber. Wir hatten eine Frage mit dem Klimaanlagen, und ich sprach mit dem Gentleman am Büro. Er kam zu ihm und sagte, es sei, weil es so ein großer Raum war, dass es nicht aufrechterhalten. Mittwoch wurde es ziemlich kalt. Sie haben sogar einen „Wunschbaum“ im Hauptlobby. Sie bieten Hangtags, die Sie aufschreiben können und auf dem Baum hängen. Ich empfehle Ihnen, hier zu bleiben, wenn Sie Granada besuchen.

Wir sind eine Familie von 4 (2 Eltern, 2 College-Kindern). Die Lage des Hostels ist großartig, im Herzen der alten Stadt, in Fußabstand von allen Seiten. Aber das Zimmer war enttäuschend. Das Foto, das auf den Buchungssites verwendet wurde, ist enttäuschend. Unser Zimmer war sehr eng, mit nur einem kleinen Fenster, das es unterdrückend machte. WLAN war Sehr schwach, was ein Problem war, als wir Tickets online für Websites wie die Alhambra buchen mussten. Und als wir uns darüber beschwerten, gab das Personal an der Rezeption nicht nur keine Entschuldigung (oder einen Rabatt für die schwere Unannehmlichkeit), sondern handelte, als ob wir darüber liegen - das ist die schlimmste Reaktion möglich. Auch, wenn Sie ein Auto haben, warnen Sie, dass die Parkgarage EXTREMMENT klein und schwer zu bekommen ist -- und natürlich müssen Sie extra zahlen.

My daughter and I were only able to stay one night in this lovely hotel, but I wish we'd been able to stay longer. Pros: - Everything was clean, new and fresh in appearance, and functional. - The breakfast included in our booking had a nice variety of foods, more than I expected from such a small hotel. Everything was at a good temperature and tasty. - The location is on the way up the hill to the Alhambra! When I was in better shape, I could have taken this walk easily, but it was very good exercise for me even though challenging in my current condition. I liked that we did not have to take a bus or other transportation to get from the hotel to the Alhambra. We had bought tickets for a night visit to the Nasrid Palaces, which included a visit the following day. Both times we could just walk out the front door of the hotel and directly up to the Alhambra! - The location also was within easy walking distance to the cathedral, shops, & restaurants (down the hill.) - Our lovely modern room included a ”Japanese-style” toilet. - The room was not large, but even so, it contained a safe, plenty of space for clothing/luggage and also a small table, fridge, and chairs. So after our night Alhambra visit, when we brought back some take-out food for a midnight supper, we had a place to eat it. - When we first arrived at the hotel, we enjoyed a meal at the rooftop bar/restaurant, with a lovely view of the Alhambra. Everything was quite tasty, & our waiter was patient with our poor Spanish abilities. Then when it started to sprinkle, he immediately set up a new table for us that was under a roof, so we could continue enjoying our meal while out of the rain. - The rooftop bar accepted Diners Club, so we were able to avoid a currency conversion fee charged by my other credit cards. - Our room was able to accommodate an extra twin bed. I don't remember now how I arranged with the hotel to have this extra bed, but because I was traveling with my daughter rather than with a romantic partner, we both appreciated being able to sleep in separate beds. - The staff we interacted with were all wonderful! Friendly and helpful! The front desk ladies kindly gave us directions to stores, lots of info on the area, and called a taxi for us when we were ready to leave. - For a small hotel, they really thought of everything, and they even had a handy stand of umbrellas to borrow if needed. We did not stay long enough to try out the gym or library this time, but it's nice that they are there. Cons? - Our shower was nice looking, but it had transparent walls, and was not in a separate bathroom. There was an opaque design covering the part of the shower where one's private body parts would be, but it might be awkward to use if one were staying with friends. (It could be nice with a romantic partner, though!) - The location might not be ideal for those with mobility issues. My recommendation in that case would be to look for a place down the hill where it's a bit flatter, and
