Hotels mit Pools in Genf

Having visited geneva before and walked past this hotels frontage with its multiple lake view bars and restaurants on the 1st and 2nd floors I always wanted to stay and experience what always looked to me to be the hotel in the best spot on the lake. My wife and I stayed 3 nights for our wedding anniversary having dinner on the third night, the 13th December which was our anniversary, at Lou One - see separate review of that excellent restaurant - on the first floor with a panoramic glass front overlooking the lake as I’d always wanted to. Some people find the ‘modern’ 1970’s late brutalist architecture to be a turn off but I’ve got a soft spot for places like this (think also the QE2, or the Barbican in London). With the right combination of plush furnishings, continuous updates of modern design respecting the original design language where possible and great service there’s no disadvantage in my mind when comparing to the grand old palaces of the 19th century where I often think that because of the built in opulence the actual hotels don’t feel they have to try so hard. The staff we dealt with were excellent and all genuinely willing to please. The food we ate was delicious especially the breakfast pancakes and the honey fresh from the on site hive was a great touch. The room was immaculately clean with a superbly comfortable bed. The Mai Tais in the bar are excellent as was the service there. Was everything perfect? no. We had a disastrous experience at our first breakfast which was remedied with a bottle of champagne in our room and treatment like royalty the following two mornings - it’s not always what goes awry but how it’s handled is the name of the game. I would suggest that the breakfast experience would be better for staff and guests alike if guests were seated by the greeter and there was communication between waiting staff and the greeter to ensure tables are ready for each guest before letting them go in to an every man for himself free for all and be more willing to overspill into the lounge (which is a perfectly adequate setting for breakfast) in a more controlled fashion as it’s currently just stressful, chaotic and not working smoothly at all if it’s busy and you’ll have guests leaving on a sour note going on to write reviews - my first job was in a Hotel restaurant including breakfast time so I know of what I speak. The building itself internally is clean and more than adequately appointed for a 5 star hotel but is now rather dated - limited plug sockets in rooms and no USB sockets is a bit early 2000’s especially when you see the Ethernet connections available but at least there’s decent WiFi. Externally especially looking at the internal courtyard walls the old girl is very tired with high amounts of missing concrete cladding everywhere and if you look at the front main signage the ‘G’ & ‘R’ of ‘grand’ aren’t illuminated and the word ‘Kempinski’ has been removed leaving an awkward gap without any attempt at adding ‘Fairmo

Sehr nahe am Flughafen mit kostenlosem Shuttlebus zum / vom Flughafen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut, für Genf ist das Hotel sogar günstig. Der Wellnessbereich ist eher klein, aber verfügt über alles.

Der Genfer See, authentischer französischer Luxus, vom Concierge über den Check-in bis nach Izumi in der obersten Etage mit Blick auf die gesamte Landschaft. Dieses Hotel interpretiert eine neue Definition von Luxus. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Zimmer etwas kleiner ist und der Preis teuer ist.

Gutes Hotel, wenn Sie an der Promenade sein möchten, aber etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt sind. Das Hotel kann Ihnen jedoch bei Bedarf mit dem Taxi behilflich sein. Die Zimmer waren sauber und klimatisiert. Gutes Hotel, aber für mein Gefühl ist es eher ein 4-Sterne-Hotel als ein 5-Sterne-Hotel.

This was my first stay in Geneva and as always I had a wonderful time. Let's start with the check in, all the staff were happy and smiling which made me feel very welcome. Provence was very kind and she showed me the way to the room and also the hotel facilities. I loved the room, so spacious and open in white, very big bed and in front of a huge garden. The welcome gift was a highlight for me: a big bottle of red wine which is made by the owner and also delicious chocolate with caramel. It was very interesting for me that the hotel logo was everywhere, on the chocolate, on the cappuccino, the club sandwich etc. We ate so much , the breakfast was perfect too, I can recommend the pancakes, the cappuccino and the fresh orange juice (so sweet oranges like in Greece).You can eat also sushi for breakfast.Simon I think was his name, he was the best at breakfast, so attentive and happy to assist us. Thank you very much, we will come back

The hotel and staff looked after us exceptionally well during our first stay to Geneva. The room was ready as we arrived at the hotel at 9:30am and they had kindly upgraded us to a room with a lake view to celebrate the reason for our trip. The staff could not have been more welcoming, kind and helpful during our stay. The concierge was extremely helpful and gave us many tips on where to visit during our stay. The breakfast was amazing and the setting is really special. The hotel is a 40 minute walk to the old town which we enjoyed each day, although the hotel do offer guests a travel card which allows use of public transport which was super easy. The swimming pool is wonderful - the only downside to our trip was our final day when there wasn't enough sun beds at the pool and we would recommend that perhaps hotel guests could reserve the beds to ensure this didn't happen. All in all a fabulous trip one that we will remember and the hotel 10/10!

Das letzte Hotel in der Schweiz, der Preis ist relativ günstig, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, die Dekoration ist mein Lieblingsstil. Die Toilette und die Dusche sind getrennt und sehr benutzerfreundlich. Der Aufzug kann nur mit zwei Personen gefüllt werden und kann sich nicht übergeben, hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf das Hotelerlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es ein libanesisches Restaurant. Die Umgebung ist beliebt und schmeckt gut. Wenn Sie an diesem Ort wohnen, können Sie ~ probieren

In Genf (Stadtzentrum von Genf) gelegen, ist Floatinn nur 5 Gehminuten von Baby Beach (Strand) und 6 Gehminuten von Parc de la Grange entfernt. Dieses Kreuzfahrtschiff in Strandnähe ist 0,1 km von Port des Eaux-Vives und 0,3 km von Jet d'Eau entfernt.Genieße von folgendem Punkt aus den schönen Ausblick: Dachterrasse. Nutz außerdem Einrichtungen und Leistungen wie kostenloses WLAN und Grillmöglichkeiten.Lass deinen Tag bei einem Drink an der Bar/Lounge ausklingen. Frühstück ist gegen Gebühr erhältlich.Fühl dich in einem der 6 Zimmer wie zu Hause. Ein WLAN-Internetzugang (kostenlos) steht zur Verfügung. Es sind eigene Badezimmer mit Duschen vorhanden, die über kostenlose Toilettenartikel und Haartrockner verfügen. Zur Austattung gehören Safes und kostenloses Mineralwasser; die Zimmer werden täglich sauber gemacht.

Ein schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus in einem charmanten Dorf. Große Lage: in der Nähe von Genf, aber noch im Lande. Der Lärm von Landeflugzeugen ist ziemlich laut, aber ich habe Glücksfalle mit Ohrenschläuchen gebracht, so dass ich schlafen konnte. Ich würde diesen Ort immer noch empfehlen.
