Es ist ein unerwartet gutes Hotel. Ursprünglich zum Internetstar Bayud geeilt, aber nachdem ich das Haus gesehen hatte, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass der Preis von Bayud hoch und das Zimmer klein war, also drehte ich meinen Kopf und suchte nach diesem am selben Strand und war sehr zufrieden! Der Stil des Hotels ist eher traditionell, alle Zimmertypen sind gleich und liegen direkt am Meer! Es gibt keinen Druck, Barrieren zu wählen, um zu bleiben. Das ganze Zimmer und Wohnzimmer sind lichtdurchflutet, sehr ruhig, große bodentiefe Fenster, komplett ausgestattet, von Surround-Sound Bluetooth-Lautsprechern, Wasserspender, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, alles vorhanden, morgens zum Meer hin, in der Sonne aufwachen, im Wohnzimmer sitzen, Musik hören und frühstücken (Zimmerservice ist verfügbar) Die Erfahrung ist großartig. Bevor ich ging, arrangierte die Chefin für mich ein Mittagessen im Pavillon am Meer. Ich hatte es eilig, als ich eincheckte. Die Besitzerin arrangierte immer noch sehr akribisch. Ich habe in vielen Hotels übernachtet. Dies ist der einzige, der einen Willkommensbrief verschickt. Es gibt auch ernste Früchte auf dem Teller. Das koreanische Essen im Restaurant entspricht eher dem chinesischen Geschmack. Habe mich und meine Freunde zu ihrem Barbecue-Dinner eingeladen, das im Laden servierte Mindanao-Rindfleisch ist zu prall und saftig! Komm nächstes Mal wieder

Nice place to stay in Siargao for couples and family. Nice pool and beach. Rooms are spacious. Air Conditioning worked well. Breakfast was excellent. Not a long car ride to General Luna. Hotel staff is excellent and helped with SUV rental. We stayed during Christmas week so the place was empty, so we basically had the place to ourself. Plenty of space to relax. Good place if you want to be near General Luna, but not in the crowded area where it can get congested and noisy. Siargao ocean temperature is exceedingly warm. 84 degrees in December. Almost like a sauna. December is off season for surfing so nothing was crowded in General Luna. Beautiful views of the ocean from our balcony. Property is 300 feet from the beach. Great place for seclusion for couples. Not a party scene. Explored the large island in our SUV.

The resort is located in the southern part of Siargao outside of General Luna where the water is turquoise and the sand is white and there really is no one present so it's honestly a paradise. I definitely spent more than one day just relaxing by the beach and swimming in the shallow waters. When the tide is low enough, you can walk along the beach for quite some time as well. Rooms are big and clean, though the bathroom is a little dark (could use some more lighting in the shower), but overall comfortable to stay in with Netflix on TV. There are a lot of Korean food options since the owner is Korean. Although a little far removed from General Luna, there are tuk tuks coming by enough to catch a ride into town. Overall a really nice resort away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. Just note that you will need to get rides into town for more food options and any necessities.

This resort is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and quick to assist you. And the chef is amazing

The resort is very peaceful and the owners and staff are very accommodating and nice. The room is very large and spacious. Nice large TV in the living room area with a comfortable couch. Beds are decently comfortable. This place is away from the main city which is why I choice this place. It is a short ride to town..50-100 pesos depending on who picks u up lol. Some issues I had here were there were several ants. Some stains on the sheets. The water pressure reduced severely as the days passed and the hot water stopped working. I was taking cold showers my last two days. They could not fix the problem although they seemed to try. Would have been nice if they offered a solution other then going to a different to take a shower which I didn’t do. Also, no activities were offered for solo traveler. Would have been nice if they had some equipment rentals. Overall a decent stay. I don’t think it’s a place worth 100 usd a night.

Away from the hustle and bustle but stull easy to get around. Great service.

A wonderfully intimate location, with just 4 buildings and 4 rooms in each building. The rooms are all closer to a suite, with sitting and sleeping areas, separated by a central wall. Wi-Fi signal is very good. Each room is equipped with each own access point. The resort is beachfront property. Great view of the beach! The staff are really friendly and proactive, doing a great job proactively looking out for their guests. The owner lives on the premises and checks in with the guests to ensure everyone is enjoying their stay. Food at the restaurant is great! Highly recommended!

The staff at Retreat Siargao were very kind, caring, and responsive during my stay! The personal attention was greatly appreciated. The pool was big enough to do laps if you want. The water was perfection. The hotel room was huge! The tricycle ride to town took a mere 8-10 minutes to where all the action is with excellent restaurants. If you want a quiet place to retreat then Retreat Siargao is your place!
