Das Hotel liegt gut mit dem Auto erreichbar etwas abseits des turbulenten Stadtzentrums. Besonders ist die große Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter hervorzuheben. Vom Parkwächter, über die Rezeption bis zu den Mitarbeitern im Restaurant, die enorm bemüht sind. Ein abendlicher Spaziergang auf den Hauptplatz ist zu empfehlen. Dort herrscht eine gute Stimmung. Dauert nur 15 Minuten vom Hotel.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber heute wahrscheinlich trotzdem die Nummer 1 in Gangtok. Sehr schöner Garten, ideal zum Entspannen. Service soweit gut, hervorragend auch mit seiner Freundlichkeit der Kellner Rajkishor, er verdient unser Lob.

It’s the people that make the place ! The staff of this place is amazing….they go beyond the narrative to make you comfortable & happy ! It’s the micro efforts that make all the difference. Even minor deficiencies become insignificant, when there are sincere hu*** efforts involved. Elgin Nor Khill is all about sincere hu*** interaction and great heritage ! Keep it up…Will have to visit here again !

Beautiful property with well appointed comfortably sized rooms with beautiful Mountain View’s . Cordial warm Staff who are super attentive giving that homely looked after feeling . Highlight for us was the beautiful lobby area and the food variety and quality . Defi the best food taste in the entire trip including local cusines which we didn't find even in the Elgin pelling ppty . Defi would adopt or steal the cook !! Special mentions sudip sen f &b ***ager and the bartender Mr Raghunandan …. V v personalized attention from the two made us feel special especially for the special gesture for my hubby’s bday we celebrated on the ppty . And how can we forget Hilton !!! He was super cute 🥰

Charmingly different from other matchbox hotels in this crowded city, Elgin stands out with a beautiful heritage building, a pretty lawn with unobstructed views of the mountains, a spacious lounge with marvellous decor and outstanding food. (thanks to Sudip Sen, F & B ***ager). Polite, smiling staff and top class service. We had a delightful 5 days here.

One of our most memorable holidays made extra special due to our stay in this exquisite heritage hotel . Everything about this hotel was close to perfection - rooms , ambience , decor , food , the staff , a perfect example of Hospitality ! The view from this hotel is absolutely spectacular!

We stayed 3 nights over the Christmas period at this beautifully colonial hotel with every attention to detail. The staff service was simply superb, with an excellent Indian buffet dinner on the night of 24th December. Cleanliness throughout was faultless and the lounge is a magnificent place to enjoy an evening beer or afternoon tea.

The location is very good …. Close to the M G marg. The rooms facing by the valley and lawns are reccomended. The staff was very polite and the food was limited but good. The hotel has a homely feel and not the typical hotel vibe. The toilets are decent but may be upgraded a bit. We got an upgrade of for the room and were not charged for it. It’s a nice place if you are looking for a heritage property with old world charm. The property does not have an elevator so one may consider that if applicable. Hilton the property pet stole our hearts ❤️

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here Unfortunately there was fog so our sightseeing was restricted and spent a lot of our time in the hotel The spa was excellent, the masseuses were amazing . The food was outstanding both breakfast and dinner was The service was second to none and very friendly There was a quaint and cosy atmosphere
