Hotel Cacciani

Was für eine tolle Überraschung! Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Hotel in Rom für unseren Aufenthalt in Italien und konnten nichts finden, das uns gefiel und in unser Budget passte. Wir sind auf dieses Hotel gestoßen und haben in einer der Bewertungen gelesen, dass es eine halbe Stunde mit dem Zug von Rom entfernt ist. Wir haben uns entschieden, es zu nehmen. Was für eine tolle Wahl! Das Hotel ist genau das, was wir wollten; eine authentische Atmosphäre, eine einladende Crew und eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf Rom. Die Zugfahrt (sofern kein Streik stattfindet) ist kurz und kostet etwa 2 Euro pro Strecke. Die Stadt Frascati ist ein Juwel! Tolle Restaurants und tolle Atmosphäre. Wenn Sie am Wochenende dort übernachten, ist der Samstagabend voller Menschen und Musik auf den Plätzen und im Restaurant.

Schmutzige Zimmer, Klimaanlage, die keine heiße Luft bläst und sich nicht ausschalten lässt. Badezimmer noch schlimmer. Da war nichts, nicht einmal eine Haarkappe. Möbel, die alt waren und einen schlechten Geruch verströmten. Ich habe ein Dutzend Haare im Bett zwischen langen schwarzen Haaren und anderen Dingen gefunden. Frühstück zum Vergessen, dürftig... sogar Wasser fehlte. Um alles zu überprüfen und zu wiederholen. Ich denke, es ist die schlimmste Erfahrung, die wir in unserem Leben gemacht haben. 3 Sterne nicht einmal mit Fernglas.

I've stayed here previously, and this is always a good option when staying in Frascati.

Great value and close to town. 5 minuet walk to multiple restaurants. Limited Breakfast included in my room rate. Staff was helpful and spoke enough English!

Everyone was so accommodating. We picked this hotel because it was across the street from the train station, but it was on the hill which required many steps on either side, not good if you have a lot of heavy luggage. We were trying to catch a pasta making class and they quickly checked us in. In the morning it was raining so heavily and the staff who served breakfast tried to call a friend to take us to the train station. Though no one was available on a Sunday, including taxis, we were so grateful that she tried. The breakfast was lovely, the room comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the city was large and impressive. Definitely would recommend the hotel if you don’t have a lot of luggage, the staff was incredibly nice!

Just had an amazing 3 nights stay at this lovely hotel in Frascati. Tucked around the back streets, with reception in the hotel restaurant next door & 24 entrance to tap in through small door. Book in and check out very efficient with superb location to the station (exit hotel, turn right, then first right down flight stairs to station car park. No noise from trains. Whilst this hotel might need updated decor, its personality super-cedes this! We had twin room, comfortable beds with modern en-suite bathroom, double glazed windows and pull up wooden shutters (cord by side) to block sun if needed. Fresh towels every day, very clean compact rooms, hairdryer in bathroom with a few toiletries. Restaurants, cafes, church, square are literally few minutes walk Because of its central location do expect a degree of noise if windows left open as Air-con is seasonal! Breakfast is served between 7-30 & 9am continental with amazing cappuccino, tea , juice, pastries, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt you can eat in front lobby area or some did eat on veranda. Exceptional price compared to other hotels would 100 percent recommend and stay again Would just like to thank ALL of the super friendly, thoughtful staff at this hotel who made our stay so welcoming & kindly made sure an iron & board was ready in our room on arrival, as we had a wedding to attend. Also helping us book our return taxi to the airport and chase this up without asking when it was late and give us some snacks to take as missed breakfast due to departure time If you are looking to use the train into Rome a return ticket was 9 euros for 2 people with just half hour journey-be aware it will state on screen if a change may be needed at Ciampino to change train. We visited station day before to check train times, can pay by card. Once purchased remember to activate them before your journey in the separate little green egg shaped machines it puts a stamp on them. Place ticket in machine slot to the right then move left and you hear a click

Nice hotel. Best option if you want a quiet place. You can take a train for 2$ and will be in Rome Center in 30min.

The hotel, itself, was acceptable with good service, a decent breakfast, fast WIFI, and a spotless room with a comfortable bed. Although in mid March, it was still a bit warm during the day, and we could not figure how to work the A/C. Therefore, we slept with the window open which allowed a good bit of street noise in throughout the night from cars and from a bar located down the street. The neighborhood was safe, and we found the town charming. Be warned that if you're traveling by train, you will have to walk uphill from the station, climb 54 steps, and then walk uphill some more before reaching the hotel. This situation became quite tiresome after four days.
