Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Fort Lauderdale - Cypress Creek - Park North

It is not a hotel, it's a dump. Our room reeked of chlorine when we had checked in. When we asked the staff to change the room, they said they overbooked. Then they refused to clean our room, because "everyone is gone already". We then asked them for extra towels to make a quick wet cleaning to decrease the scent of the chlorine. The pictures will show you how the floors of the room prepared for a check-in look like. Avoid at all costs. 1/5 is too much for that abomination.

Decent hotel with good amenities. Helpful staff The negative was several of the tv channels did not have a signal for the whole time there (fox station and cbs).

First impression when I drove up, I noticed a women sitting on the front curb of the hotel. This gave me an immediate insecure feeling that the hotel was not a safe place. When I entered the hotel, the hotel receptionist was very nice and promptly assigned me a room on the second floor. She advised that the breakfast would be grab and go. The hotel itself clean. Once I entered my room, the room was also clean and neat, but later I discovered that the bathroom sink water would barely run and there was algae moss on one of the windows. Upon exiting the next morning, no one was at the desk. Only a big video screen showing everyone on live camera in the lobby. I was very disappointed that there was no grab and go breakfast. There was nothing there but coffee and one chocolate muffin and snack bars. All of the other supposed supplies were empty. Not even coffee sweetener. NOTHING WAS THERE TO EAT. The people coming in and out appeared to look as though they this hotel was nothing but an undercover homeless shelter. I have nothing against hotel chains that sublet rooms to less fortunate people stay, but for the price I paid, I was not expecting this kind of place. et the service of what I would expect at this rate. At the This room should not have been no more than $75.00 a night before tax. I won't be staying there again. Again, the staff was nice but again, no one was on the desk in the morning and nothing to eat. There is no breakfast if you are looking for it.

Last minute booking caused price to get jacked up. Shower and bathroom in disrepair, tub dirty and worn, flooring coming up. Sofa cushion worn through. No breakfast or coffee available in the morning, I overheard another tenant ask the desk clerk about it, they said there wasn't going to be any.

At first they did not have a room available, but a nice young lady who I didn't see, who was helping the Front Desk Clerk, said there was one room available, as long as we didn't mind that there wasn't a sofa or sofa bed. We didn't care, the room was clean, neat, and better then the other Extended Stay in Pompano.

Checkin started at 3. We arrived at 6. Room not ready until 8:30. Room was nice and staff apologized for being short staffed. Not really their fault but is a sign of the times that there are jobs out there if people want them. Also the next morning, the advertised grab and go breakfast ran out by 8:30.

The kitchen in our suite was completely baren...no flatware, silverware...cup...nothing! They had one hair dryer which we had to wait in line for...ridiculous! The room had damage all over...will never stay there again.
