I had problems trying to find a hotel in Florence at short notice and ended up booking a room at this hotel. First I should explain that this hotel is on the second and third floor of a building. I was given a room by the stairs, which by the way are made of wood I think, so the noise of people going up and down was terrible. There is a lift, but it will only take you from the ground floor to the reception, so if you have a suitcase and you are given a room on the third floor, you have to drag it up the stairs, near to where my room was. My room was big enough, with 2 single beds, and a bathroom almost the same side of the room, painted in red! and very dark, even with the light on. The room and bathroom were clean and my linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meat, etc. Unfortunately the reception area was dirty. There are 2 or 3 settees with a material cover, which has not been washed for some time. The location of this hotel is excellent. 15 mns to the Duomo and 30 mns to the Ponte Vecchio. The guys at the reception were very helpful, polite and one of them, on the night shift, (regrettably I did not ask his name) never stopped smiling. Great service. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes but make sure you are giving a room away from the stairs.

Best Western Plus CHC Florence has the best, friendliest, kindest employees, probably in the world. The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with great variety and service. The rooms are comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The area is lively and convenient, has lots of choices for transportation, dining, and many businesses. It's about 5 minutes from the airport by car, and 2 stops by public transportation My mom happened to have an emergency while we were staying at BW for vacation, which forced me to extend my stay for 19 days. Even though the hotel was full, front desk staff accommodated me, and helped me in every way they could with tips, directions, everything I needed. Employees from the restaurant even took me out to dinner on my birthday. Das war ein hervorragendes Hotel! Wir haben eine Upgrade zu einer Junior Suite bei der Ankunft und das Zimmer war großartig! Eines der schönsten Zimmer, die wir je gehabt haben. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und wir kamen zu einer Flasche Champagner, um unseren Geburtstag zu feiern. Carlo, der Konzern, war EXTREMMENT hilfreich - von der Zeichnung von Leitlinien auf der Karte für uns, bis zur Beantwortung aller Fragen, und der Erteilung ausgezeichneter Speiseempfehlungen, bis zur Erstellung von zeitlichen Reservierungen auf Anfrage. HINWEIS: Das Restaurant direkt hinter dem Hotel war das Beste von weitem! Mein einziger Kon war ich zu verlassen!!! Ich werde nach Florenz zurückkommen, und wenn wir das tun, werden wir definitiv hier bleiben!

Große Lage, zu Fuß von den meisten Hauptattraktionen entfernt. Sie erhalten auch einen willkommenen Getränk und das Personal war super freundlich. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hostels habe ich geblieben, das Bett ist klein und nicht wirklich komfortable jedoch. Ich würde noch einmal buchen, wenn ich wieder in Florenz wäre.

Die Lage ist in erster Linie, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, das Frühstück ist komfortabel, der Service ist absolut, dieses Hotel kann wirklich keinen Ort finden, und ich mag es auch sehr. Aber die Einrichtungen sind unbehaglich, obwohl der Besitzer sehr ehrlich sein sollte. Das Klimaanlagesystem scheint viel Geld zu kosten, aber die Gäste können nicht selbst kontrollieren. Jedes Mal, wenn Sie die Rezeption anrufen müssen, ist der Start sehr langsam und beunruhigend. Die Wäscheleuchten sind so hell, dass die letzte Wäsche in der Nacht nicht schlafen sollte. Das Zimmer war insektig, ich sah den Hebel, aber ich fühlte mich nicht wie ein Seil, ich habe zwei Nächte gelebt, glücklicherweise habe ich kein Problem mit dem Körper gefunden. Der Rezeption-Servicebetreiber nimmt die Aufenthaltsverfahren durch und bringt Sie nach dem Abschluss ins Zimmer. Es fühlt sich seltsam an, wenn das Hotel und die Zimmerausstattung nicht so bedienen müssen. Die Zimmerausstattung ist auch seltsam, die äußere Ebene ist die Hälfte zu ziehen, schwach und präzise. Die Kleider sind auch seltsam. Das Hotel ist zum ersten Mal so kalt und im Allgemeinen gut, aber es fühlt sich etwas seltsam an vielen Orten. Also kehrte ich die letzte Nacht zurück und wechselte in andere Hotels.

I am not writing this type of reviews often, but unfortunately this time I have to in order to reflect the reality about this hotel. Prior to this hotel we stayed at another hotel in Rome also 4-star that we really enjoyed (price level and distance from city center was similar). Firstly, I would like to point out that this hotel, even though it has 4 stars, cannot be considered to be a European-level 4-star hotel at all, at maximum a refurbished 3-star hotel. Given the price and its location, I would like to tell you straight, it is quite expensive for what you get, especially given the further circumstances described below. Secondly, I have not read many negative reviews regarding the noise level, but would like to shed some light on that. Even though we asked for a quiet room, we got the room facing the hotel parking and front road. I cannot say that there was a lot of noise from the road, but you could definitely hear cars from the road. But the biggest problem is the noise insultaion, or more precisely its complete absence. We could hear our neighbours talking in the other room like they were in our room. Our neighbours were awake until late night and we could hear them receiving messages while chatting on the phone and it seemed like the phone was vibrating each time near your ear. There was also noise from outside and other neighbours (it was partially not clear where it was coming from), so overall an awful experience also given the fact that each room has roller blinds and some people are using them at night and each time you can hear the mechanism working (it is quite loud). When people flush in other rooms, it sounds like it starts raining heavily. To sum up, insulation is really bad. Thirdly, the room was furbished at the level of refurbished 3-star hotel, the old hairdriers from the 20th century, only one card key, thus you cannot leave the AC on when you leave the room. Room was not ventilated at all once we arrived, so it was very hot to sleep and smell was not very pleasant. Breakfast at the level of 3-star hotel maximum and they do not let people finish their breakfast telling at 9:55am that you have to leave in 5 minutes since the breakfast time ends at 10am. As a cherry on the tart, when we were leaving we were told that the water in the room was not complimentary when we arrived, even though we did not found anywhere information with pricing of water in the room. When I asked where we could find price list for water in the room, as I belive it should be clearly placed in a visible spot, the person at reception firstly insulted us in Italian (not knowing that we speak Italian) and then just answered arrogantly ”it is in the room”, showing that he does not want to speak with us. Unbelievable and unacceptable behaviour from staff, you are paying them for being treated in such a manner... Overall, I understand that Florence is an expensive and crowded city, but in this instance when we unfortunately had only extremely negativ
