What a fantastic place, so clean, staff friendly and apartment immaculate. Highly recommended.

This is our third stay at Vitor’s Village. It’s a fantastic place. Spotlessly clean. We love coming here.

Niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn (heuvelachtig terrein). Ferragudo is nog een authentiek dorp. Ontbijt: dikke voldoende.

THE NICEST HOTEL EVER!! I HAVE NO FAULTS AT ALL- IT WAS ALL PERFECT When I arrived I had no luggage due to it going missing at the airport and I wasn’t able to communicate at the airport as the language barrier. When I checked in I explained about my luggage they told me to enjoy my day and reassured me that they will help me get my luggage back the staff were so helpful and I felt reassured right away. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful they explained about the hotel what time breakfast was ect, we immediately felt so welcome. The room was as advertised it was massive and the bathroom was lovely there were coffee making facilities ect everything we needed for the perfect stay. The living area was so spacious with 2 sofas and the balcony with big too, the view was stunning everything I wanted and more you won’t be disappointed. The pool was really big and there was also a smaller pool if you wanted more a private swim with i children, plenty of sun loungers aswel and a really nice shop on site with everything in. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, they had lots of options for food and drink, we had breakfast included and the breakfast buffet was amazing with space indoors or outdoors to sit you can help yourself to anything there was such a verity. The dinners were amazing and loads to choose from on the menu the bar was always open and there was also such a verity of drinks with a standard price - the cocktails are lovely. The bar staff are lovely and so polite they make things as perfect as possible and are always checking in on you. All in all for the money payed for a week stay breakfast included there was no faults to pick at all we had a brilliant time and will be returning next year for sure, I’ve stayed a few places in Ferragudo but this was by far one of the best places, it’s in a great location with lots of restaurants,bars, shops ect on the square just a short walk from the hotel everything you need in just a short walk absolutely amazing, so if you want to venture out for a change you can with so many options. Absolutely perfect stay and I can not wait to return.

Just came back from Vitor’s Village and even though we had mixed weather the hotel couldn’t be faulted. Our room was a spacious one bed apartment tastefully decorated with great views from the balcony. The pool is very clean and nice and still usable this time of year. The grounds are stunning and expertly kept by the gardener. We stayed bed and breakfast and was a great choice imo as there are nice places dotted all around Ferragudo to have a nice evening meal. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day with great choice of hot and cold food 😋 Ferragudo itself is a typical unspoiled Portuguese fishing town. Very quaint with a square and narrow streets with restaurants and bars hidden around every corner. We had some excellent meals particularly the local specialties which were delicious!! Beaches are natural and great for walks if sun is shining or not. We took the boat taxi over to Praia Rocha which was nice for a day out. Staff were friendly and very helpful if needed and rooms cleaned daily with fresh shampoos, towels and toilet rolls always available All in all can’t fault this place. We have already decided to return probably in the warmer months as my wife loves a sun bathe ☺️

We are due to leave here tomorrow after staying a week the hotel is lovely and all the staff are a credit to the hotel especially in the bar and restaurant. The size of the apartment is really good with a comfortable settee in the sitting room and separate bedroom we had read from another reviewer before we left that you had to take your own washing up liquid wipe down cloth and tea towel so I brought some with me. I did find a tea towel in the drawer so I didn’t really need mine. It states in the write up of hotel that the maids don’t wash your dishes for you so I was surprised at the last reviewer expecting them to do this.!! We booked half board the breakfast was the usual you find in hotels in Europe with hot and cold choices and the evening meals were really nice with a couple of choices for starters and three for mains and four sweets we enjoyed them all. The only thing we found strange is the soup is served lukewarm not hot as you would expect. Ferragudo is a lovely village with lots of lovely restaurants but only one shop so we went by taxi to Alvor one day and Praia Da Rocha another day just to get a wander round the shops. We were very unfortunate with the weather as the first four days were very windy and cold but the last three have been sunny for part of the day. We always come to the algarve the first week in November and it’s usually sunny every day but it didn’t detract from our stay as this is such a lovely hotel We have enjoyed our stay with you thank you all

We have just arrived back from Vitor Village. Our apartment which overlooked the marina was immaculate and very contemporary. The grounds are kept beautifully with 2 good pools. The rooms were cleaned everyday and easily one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. The staff here are extremely good at their job from the front of the house to the cleaning staff. I honestly couldnt fault anything. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for the ultimate chilled experience. We came back feeling completely rested. So I will leave the review like this if you need a bit of time out this is the perfect place to do it. Thank you so much and we would 100% recommend.

Based on other reviews, I think your experience here depends a fair bit on the room you stay in. We had a 2 bed apartment, which was actually 2x 1 bed apartments joined together, so 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms etc. Both apartments were pretty much permanently shaded (Cegonha building) which made it feel a bit like being in a cave, despite the overall apartment being pretty big. One of the bedrooms was also damp which meant sleeping wasn't the most comfortable and clothes ended up damp when left in the room. The staff are very nice, helpful and friendly and I can't really fault them. They did try to see if another room was available for us. The rooms are very clean and were cleaned daily whilst we stayed. The pool area is lovely, but the pool was freezing at the time of year we visited as it's not heated. I'd imagine it's great in summer. For those with kids (ours are 7,5 and 2) There is a small kids area for young kids as well as a little park for under 5's on site and another play park in town. We had a car and visited Lagos Zoo and Zoomarine amongst other things which were both good fun. The surrounding area is nice, with the main beach Praia Grande approx 15 mins walk away and old town about 5 mins down the hill. There is a free shuttle running once a day to take you to the beach and back. We had a good week here, but just a few things let the stay down.

A very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. Our apartment was near the bottom of the complex with a balcony that was always in the shade. Other units overlooked the pool with sunny balconies and the “Sunset Apartments” were over the reception/restaurant area with great views and plenty of sun. Whichever unit you stay in the apartments are well kept, clean and airy with a large lounge/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, kettle, toaster, twin hob and under bench fridge. The lounge has a tv, but uk programmes are limited to BBC world News and BBC entertainment channel. OK if you like “Still Open All Hours” and other re-runs, but you are on holiday in a beautiful and friendly place so why stay in and watch TV. There is an on-site shop (not open when we were there but will be by end of March) and nearest and best mini market is in the village o the “Main Street” just behind the village square and opposite the ice cream parlour/cafe. It is a steep downhill walk to the village by the shortest route accessed by cutting through the apartments opposite the reception entrance and turning right but the easier way is to follow the road by going left from reception and right to go back to the main road and turning left. This brings you out at the bridge to the town square, which is where you want to be for great restaurants and drinks. Do not miss the water taxi across to Portimao or Praia Roche (10 euros return) we went to Portimao town to look at the excellent museum set in an old Sardine Canning Factory. I also highly recommend the “Indigo Restaurant” further up the street from the mini market. It serves Indian food prepared by the Owner, Mr Beddi. He and his staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming and he will make you what you want and to your taste. It was raining on our first arrival and I had to go to the village looking for food to cook. I took shelter on the seating outside of Indigo and, even though it was not open, the young ladies preparing for he evening made me a cup of tea. When Beddi arrived I asked where I could get a taxi and he gave me a lift back with no charge for the tea or lift. We went for dinner later as it had stopped raining and after being plied with more foo than was decent we were surprised by the exceptionally reasonable cost. To top it off it had started raining again and the excellent Beddi gave us a lift back again. What a way to start our holiday. Sadly we could not make a second visit as my wife felt unwell for the rest of the holiday (nothing to do with the stunning food we ate). We will be back to enjoy the beautiful area, the warm weather and the warm and welcoming Portuguese.
