Hotel Mediterraneo

Muy bien ubicado si vienes de fiesta, servicio amable y limpios. Si vienes como yo a trabajar,no lo recomiendo: jaleo de bares hasta las dos de la madrugada y por la mañana ruidos de desayunos.

Hotel has 34 rooms and 20 are Seaview (go on treat yourself). Hotel also has parking but it’s a bit finicky to organise. (Park outside hotel, drop off bags then organise at reception). Clean modern rooms, if a little on the small size, but try and beat that view!!!!! Estepona old town is right behind the hotel. Got an excellent rate in winter but I checked the rate for summer and it didn’t look that bad .

I was looking for a cheap basic hotel as near as possible to the centre of Estepona, and the Hotel Mediterraneo far exceeded my expectations. For a 1* hotel it was surprisingly nice inside, and appeared to have been recently decorated. The location is perfect, directly on the beachfront, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful old town centre, a large number of bars and restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The harbour is around 2km away, 25 minutes walk along the coast. The hotel has a 24 hour reception, which was welcome, and made the hotel feel safe and secure. The front door is locked at night, so you need to ring the doorbell to gain access if you return late, but this is not an issue as there is always a member of staff at the reception. All of the staff I encountered during my stay were very friendly and helpful - after check-out I was not due to travel home until late in the evening, and the staff let me leave my suitcase at reception during the day. A lift services all floors. My room was of a reasonable size, and despite booking a single room got a full double room, on the top (5th) floor of the hotel. The room had a powerful air conditioning system with a working thermostat that included a timer function, so the room was always a pleasant temperature. There was no safe available in the room for valuables. There was no fridge/minibar, but the reception area had vending machines offering drinks and snacks. Otherwise, the central location means there are supermarkets and shops nearby. The bathroom was spacious and included a walk-in shower, with an overhead 'rainfall' style shower, as well as a detachable handheld showerhead. Shower soap and hand soap were provided. I think the drain was slightly clogged, as the water did drain quite slowly, but not slowly enough to cause any issues. The room was clean and tidy, and was cleaned daily by the housekeepers whilst I was out. Considering it is a 1* hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again. Amazing value for money and one to consider for cheap but high quality accommodation.

A one star hotel but in a great central location. Numerous cafes (for breakfast) and restaurants nearby with the Port a 25/30 minute stroll along the promenade. Be sure to call in at the Vice versa for the best tapas, Padron peppers and aubergine with honey and balsamic vinegar, just delicious. Really friendly reception staff, rooms cleaned every day, shower was good and things like soap and cups are replaced daily. No frills but valuables can be kept at reception and there's a hairdryer available on request. We had a great stay and, if you're just looking for a base in Estepona, I'm sure you will too.

What a place, a humble little One Star hotel delivering over and above. Just stayed here for the past 3 nights (4-7 Feb 22) and my stay was faultless. The staff are helpful and friendly, your room is cleaned and made every day (unlike UK hotels now!) and less than one hundred yards from the beach and close proximity to bars and restaurants.

E ido muchas veces...una de las ultimas veces llame...pregunre el precio me dijo 2 personas 60....al llegar me dijo 90..mucho cuidado que hay una lista que le vwndran muy bien los 30.....es extranjera...me dio la llave desactivada...otra vez a bajar....al no sacarme los 30 de mas....jjjaaaa...que gentuzerio.....

Hotel maravilloso, ha superado con diferencia mis expectativas. Todo muy limpio, muy cuidado, ubicación inmejorable, vistas al mar desde la habitación. Tienen un parking público al lado concertado y pagas 10€/ día que está muy bien. El personal es súper majo.

Una experiencia muy negativa. En cuanto a la habitación estaba correcta, limpia y bien equipada, aunque las toallas tenían boquetes, cosa inaceptable por el precio de la habitación. Pero lo peor no ha sido esto, sino el ruido a partir de las seis de la mañana y gritos en el pasillo que no nos han dejado descansar. Estábamos en la primera planta, por tanto es imposible que la recepción no lo escuchara y ya que tuvo que abrir la puerta a tales impresentables. Además de gritos, arrastraron muebles, música a todo volumen, portazos y lo más sorprendente que nadie les llamó la atencion. Salimos a las once de nuestra habitación ya que era imposible estar allí, y la música seguía a todo volumen.
