Essaouira, nous reviendrons! Wir haben 5 Nächte im Hotel verbracht als Abschluss unserer selbst geplanten Marokko- Rundreise mit dem Mietwagen. Was ist uns aufgefallen? Es war von Einrichtung und Ausstattung schon eine Luxusherberge mit Außenpool, Innenpool, Spa, Privatstrand, Bar, Restaurant… Aber auch das Personal wurde uns gegenüber diesem Anspruch jederzeit gerecht. Diskret, zurückhalten, aber sehr höflich und hilfsbereit auf Ansprache. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Tolle Atmosphäre, extrem entspannend und erholsam! Hier fühlten wir uns als Gäste als Könige! Frühstücksbuffet: TOP, alles was man wünscht und noch viel mehr, ein Schlemmerparadies. Zimmer: großzügig, top ausgestattet. (Föhn, Kühlschrank, Balkon, schalldichte Türen und Fenster, echte Verdunkelungsvorhänge, WLAN) Ja, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit Charme gealtert möchte man sagen. Sehr authentische Möbel und viele liebevolle Details mit Elementen aus der Architektur der Stadt. Lage eins A, 5 Minuten in die Medina, (Privat) Strand direkt vor der Tür, was willst du mehr?

Atlas Hotel Essaouria Wir waren 2009 schon einmal in diesem Hotel und da es uns gefallen hat buchten wir hier 3 Nächte. Wir waren geschockt über den Zustand jetzt. Die Bilder vom Bad, über Zargen , Fußboden bis hin zum Geschirr sagen denke ich alles über den Zustand des 5 Sterne Hotel wo die Nacht 165€ kostet. Wir sind auf unsere Marokkoreise mittlerweile in 10 Hotels gewesen und nicht ein Haus war so marode und schmutzig wie dieses. Ich weiß nicht ob die Atlas Group nicht mehr in die Instandsetzung investiert. Aber ich sehe das das Management scheinbar unfähig ist dieses Haus sauber zu führen. Auch das Frühstück war eine farce. Gäste wischten die Tische im Außenbereich sauber um dort frühstücken zu können, dass Personal stand herum. Viele schütteln nur den Kopf. Joghurt wurde aus Suppentassen gegessen … es fehlt hier einfach überall. Staub auf der Theke unter dem das Essen steht stört niemanden. Die Zimmermädchen wissen scheinbar gar nicht was sie putzen sollen, es scheint auch niemand in dem Hotel zu interessieren. Die ist ein Haus ohne Ambiente unter schlechter Leitung. Leider reicht der Platz nicht aus um alles aufzuschreiben aber ein Satz reicht „NIE MEHR WIEDER“ wir haben uns über jeden Cent geärgert. Für 5 Sterne gezahlt und im höchstenfall 3 Sterne Service erhalten. Eine Schande solch eine gute Substanz verkommen zu lassen.

Wir hatten nur eine Nacht zu bleiben in Essaouira und wir haben definitiv eine tolle Wahl gemacht - Villa Maroc ist ganz einzigartig und so geschmackvoll eingerichtet - die Zimmer sind geräumig und alle sehr stilvoll - jedes Zimmer ist in einem der vier vernetzten Riads und der ganze Ort exudes Charme und Ruhe. Wir hatten Glück, dass Fatima uns einige der Zimmer gezeigt und ..... wow ..... wie schön sie alle waren. - Die Aussicht vom Dach ist spektakulär, übersehen die Bucht. Wir waren sehr willkommen und das Personal macht Sie sich wie Familie fühlen - nichts war zu viel Problem. Nachtzeit ist der Ort so schön - wir hatten dort Abendessen und die Gemeindeplätze sind Kerzen, die den Ort so entspannende Atmosphäre gibt - selbst das Feuer wurde in der gemütlichen Bar-Zone erleuchtet - wir werden sicher wieder dort bleiben und würden gründlich Recommend a few nights at Villa Maroc - you can't be more charmed ! I don’t think I’ve had a better first impression of a hotel. Once you enter it looks like a palace. Then our room just blew us away. Not just large, but also beautifully appointed; everywhere you look is a mosaic, lovely colours, amazing shapes, just stunning. Location is also fantastic. Inside the medina means just a few minutes walk to the main square and the souks. Or, if you want the beach it’s about a five minute walk to some lovely spots on the ocean. A substantial breakfast is served in the atrium or, as we preferred, on the roof terrace, with wonderful views. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Mumtaz Mahal.

A absolutely amazing experience. What a beautiful hotel! What lovely people! We met the fantastic owner Helen, her warm and kind manager Mina, Albie, Hamza in the restaurant. It's like a big family and we felt sad leaving! The design is STUNNING. Every room is special and the beds are incredibly comfy for a good nights' sleep. The team are wonderful in helping you organise transfers, surf lessons, restaurant recommendations. On my birthday they gave me flowers and the entire restaurant sang to me which made me feel so special! They also have a live band playing upstairs and people from all over come to eat in the restaurant so it really is the place to be at night as well.

Was für ein schönes Riad, jeder war super freundlich, hilfreich, wissensfähig und lächelnd. Das Hotel ist wunderschön und sauber, nichts ist zu viel Problem. Das Rezeptionpersonal geht über und über, um zu helfen, und die Dame, die Frühstück serviert, ist immer schön mit einer guten Auswahl an Lebensmitteln jeden Tag. Sie sind immer mit einem Lächeln willkommen. Die Riad ist sehr zentral gelegen im Mittelpunkt und einen 5-minütigen Spaziergang zum Hafen oder schönen Sandstrand.

Riad Emotion is an amazing spot to stay in Essaouira. The light hits this riad perfectly as the fresh air and sun of the wind city sweep you in. The entrance, rooms, and roof terrace could not be more peaceful. Right off of the medina but still close enough to the action. All said, we were lucky enough to travel to Morocco in May after getting the vaccine and while much was still on lockdown they welcomed arms. Cannot recommend Riad Emotion enough! Riad Emotion est un endroit incroyable pour séjourner à Essaouira. La lumière frappe parfaitement ce riad alors que l'air frais et le soleil de la ville du vent vous envahissent. L'entrée, les chambres et la terrasse sur le toit ne pourraient pas être plus paisibles. Juste à côté de la médina mais toujours assez proche de l'action. Tout compte fait, nous avons eu la chance de voyager au Maroc en mai après avoir reçu le vaccin et alors que beaucoup étaient encore bloqués, ils ont accueilli les armes. Je ne saurais trop recommander le Riad Emotion!

Gehen Sie in der Orson Welles Suite zurück und erholen Sie sich in der schönen Pool. Dieses Gemsel behält seinen ursprünglichen Charme und ist eine ganz schöne Erfahrung. Die Frühgebete mit den Fenstern offen zu hören war nur eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Hoch empfehlen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass dies kein modernes 2023 Radisson ist, so dass Sie etwas flexibler mit Ihren Erwartungen an diesem legendären Ort sein sollten.

What a gorgeous hotel! The public spaces and sun roof are absolutely exquisit, and so are most rooms. My own room was simple, but came at no single occupancy surcharge and had fast reliable wifi at all times. Upstairs rooms will have been quieter but I was told that WiFi is patchy. The whole space was spotless with plumbing in good working order, although my bathroom was tiny and they need to make it clear to guests that this is not drinking water. Breakfast was plated rather than buffet and not for me, but after I spoke to the manager I got less of some things and more of others. Location is in the middle of the medina, with lots of shops and food options nearby. I got lost in the medina on days 1 and 2, so I definitely recommend remembering landmarks! Highly recommend this place - would have been 6 stars without breakfast :-)
