In general we had a nice stay at the hotel, only a few things let it down.
1. Only supplied one bottle of water per person in the room per day. In a hot climate and paying €1,400 per night I would expect bottled water each day in addition to this.
2. My wife bought my daughter a cap from the kids club on the last day however the size provided was 1-2 years when my daughter is 6. Unfortunately she did not get the opportunity to try the cap on at the time.
3. We booked a taxi two days before we left, however it was over an hour late on the day of departure. I accept this is not entirely the hotels fault however at check in we were told to book 48 hours in advance to avoid a problem. Then on the day of departure told we were in a “queue” for a taxi is unacceptable. There is no point telling people to book two days in advance if you’re then put in a queue on the day. The attitude of most of the guys at the carpark was poor, unapologetic and generally unhelpful. Only when we involved a manager did things start to get moving. I don’t begrudge paying a premium for a transfer but the price we were offered was €220 when a taxi charged €75.
