Die Lage ist wunderbar. Das einzige, was mir nicht gefällt, ist, dass das Personal an der Rezeption nicht wirklich hilfsbereit ist. Ich habe aus Versehen zwei getrennte Betten gebucht und sie gebeten, sie in ein Kingsize-Bett umzuwandeln. Sie sagten, das sei nicht verfügbar, solange das Hotel frei ist.

This is my favorite hotel in Al Barsha. It’s conveniently located right in front of the Mall of the Emirates and offers a truly welcoming atmosphere. I’ve stayed here five times, and it’s always been a great experience! 😊

Dieses Sheraton Hotel ist wirklich praktisch. Unten gibt es einen Aufzug, der direkt zum Einkaufszentrum der Emirate führt. Dort gibt es auch ein großes Carrefour, wo man abends einige Dinge kaufen kann Es gibt viele gute Cafeterias. Der Vorteil des Hotels besteht außerdem darin, dass es einen kostenlosen Bus gibt, der Sie um 9:00 Uhr morgens zum Louvre-Museum in Abu Dhabi bringt, und es gibt auf jeden Fall einen Sitzplatz! Von außen sieht das Hotel etwas alt aus und fühlt sich ganz anders an als das Conrad Hotel, in dem ich in Abu Dhabi übernachtet habe. Allerdings ist das Sheraton Hotel sehr praktisch. Es gibt U-Bahnen und Einkaufszentren in der Nähe und es gibt kostenlose Busse nach und aus Abu Dhabi. Das mediterrane Essen war köstlich und von sehr hoher Qualität. Derselbe Mitarbeiter war am ersten und letzten Tag sehr nett und lächelte Eine Menge, die uns drei Mädchen glücklich gemacht hat. Sie sind sehr nett! Außerdem war die Rezeption sehr nett und sprach beim Einchecken ein paar Worte auf Mandarin. Er war sehr nett und hatte ein breites Lächeln!
Später, am Tag meiner Rückkehr nach China, stellte ich fest, dass ich meine Halskette im Hotel vergessen hatte, und teilte ihm mit, dass sie die Halskette gefunden hätten, und fragte dann den Logistikkurier Die Firma hat mir geholfen, es zurückzubekommen. Ich werde in Zukunft wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. Außerdem sieht man aus dem Zimmerfenster direkt Burj Al Arab und Burj Khalifa! Schön!

Durchschnittliches Hotel, würden nicht sagen seine 5 Sternen mehr 3.5 Sternen. Unser Zimmer schmeckt wirklich schlecht vom Rauchen, aber als es nur eine Nacht war, wollten wir nicht ein Schluck machen.
Der Pool war klein und der Kinderclub hatte nicht viel.
Das Frühstück war ok schöne Auswahl.
Die Mitarbeiter waren wunderschön und begeistert mein Antrag auf einen Geburtstagskuchen :) aber der Kuchen war nicht wunderschön.

Es liegt ganz in der Nähe der Mall of the Emirates und ist sehr praktisch. Der Hotelservice ist sehr professionell und die Zimmerdekoration und Ausstattung sind sehr modern. Obwohl die Gegend etwas klein ist, ist das Zimmer sehr ruhig!

I didn't expect much from this place but was highly surprised and satisfied. Booked just 3 days before arrival due to location and good price considering Dubai overall overpriced hotels via this high season period.
The location is good. Ten minutes walk to Insurance Market metro station and various buses. 20 minutes to Mall of the Emirates. Many moderate eateries nearby, especially recommend the Pakistani one on the left when you leave the hotel :) From DWC airport taxi is about 100 AED and just 35 minutes drive. Overall Al-Barsha area is nothing special if you are a tourist, but for my business need between airports it was a good option. All Dubai highlights are perfectly reachable via cheap city transport thus no need to pay for a taxi.
The king size bed room is gorgeous for the price paid (220 USD 3 nights incl. breakfast). Comfy bed, good furniture, great working aircon, good water pressure and temperature, good overall smell and cleanliness. Housekeeping guys did a great job everyday, respect for that.
Breakfast was also more than enough for the price paid. Many options, both European and Asian. Good coffee, nice choice of fruits.
Personnel is well trained, polite, helpful.
Overall a very good experience, highly recommended for both business guests and tourists. Sure I will return to Time Asma Hotel.

Found extra tooth brush on the floor after the room service which don’t belong to us. And the cover in the executive lounge has the screw broken… and most importantly the wooden key never works! Changed for more than 6 times and finally they give us the plastic keys which works perfect. Not something you expect from a five star hotel…

GGastnutzerIm Allgemeinen behandeln die Hotels in Dubai Touristen sehr gut. Nachdem wir an diesem Abend am Flughafen angekommen waren, empfahl uns die Rezeption beim Einchecken direkt ein kostenpflichtiges Upgrade auf ein Apartment mit einem Schlafzimmer. Wir sagten, wir würden es versuchen, wenn es kostenlos wäre. Später gab mir die Rezeption ein kostenloses Upgrade. Meiner Erfahrung nach ist die Wohnung recht groß, mit einem separaten Wohnzimmer zum Ausruhen, und der Boden ist auch hoch, wodurch der Lärm unten vermieden werden kann. Es gibt 2 Badezimmer im Zimmer, aber auch sonst ist das Frühstück recht umfangreich und reichhaltig Der Kellner muss Sie zum Essen führen. Achten Sie auf das Umgebungserlebnis.

QQuinnieIch war vor der Buchung ziemlich nervös, da es nicht viele Bilder und Bewertungen meiner Zimmerkategorie gab. Lassen Sie uns zuerst über die Lage sprechen. Dieses Hotel liegt am Eingang der Palm Island. Obwohl es nicht in der Nähe der Stadt liegt, ist es sehr bequem, die Palm Island zu betreten oder zur Dubai Marina und zum Fort Market zu gehen. Das Burj Al Das Arab Hotel ist sehr praktisch. Wir mieten ein Auto und fahren selbst, aber ich finde die Lage großartig und das Parken ist sehr praktisch. Wir bieten einen Parkservice für Sie an.
Ausstattung: Der Meerblick mit zwei Schlafzimmern ist auf die Palmeninsel gerichtet. Gegenüber unserem Zimmer 1205 befindet sich das One and Only Hotel, das als sehr kostengünstig bezeichnet werden kann. Darüber hinaus verfügt jedes der beiden Schlafzimmer über ein Badezimmer und ein Duschbad, außerdem gibt es im Gemeinschaftsbereich ein Badezimmer. Obwohl die Fläche nur 88 Quadratmeter beträgt, reicht sie für zwei Familien. Wenn Sie in der Küche kochen müssen, müssen Sie nur Gewürze usw. kaufen. IIpek EmilyMy husband and I had our first holiday as a family of three with our 7 month old baby at Voco Dubai The Palm Hotel. We chose this hotel as it had a private beach (we didn’t want to spend time travelling to a beach each day), was located away from the chaos of Dubai, offered a king size bed (I cosleep with my baby), and there was an option for including breakfast (again did not want to spend time searching for or travelling to a breakfast location with a baby). Compared to other surrounding hotels, it is a relatively small and new hotel. However, this only enhanced our positive experience as it added a more personal touch. The valets (sorry I didn’t catch their names!) took our car down to the car park while other members of staff took our luggage to our room. Diana at the front desk was the first team member we met inside and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean. Thank you to Arun Gawam from Housekeeping! We enjoyed our coffee pods and Biscoff biscuits provided after each thorough clean. Some reviews mentioned noise but we only heard some drilling upstairs during the day and some music outside on Friday and Saturday night. Neither of these bothered us or our baby. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had plenty of choice with some of the options changing on each day so we had some variety. The welcoming, dynamic staff knew our tea and coffee orders from day one and always greeted us with smiles. We were asked daily if we wanted our eggs cooked in a certain way. This was great because our baby is just getting started on solids. Our baby girl loved seeing all the hardworking, smiley members of staff waving at her every morning. I would particularly like to thank Rojean, Rashmi and Aldrin as well as Fasha, Shiela, Juliet, Dioseth, Anu, Marion, Fhaizan, Amin, Chef Prabin, Chef James, Chef Anyu, Ariz, Sun and Puja. The private beach was a highlight of our holiday. We loved the easy and quick access to the beach with bottles of water and beach towels provided upon arrival. The cabanas were great for privacy as I had to breastfeed my baby on the beach. The WiFi was hit and miss on the beach but I guess that helped us relax more. Thank you to Bidan, Chamodi and Roni for taking care of us there! The only downside for me was the lack of power socket to plug the hairdryer in the bathroom or next to the mirror in front of the bathroom or by the mirror in front of the desk. We had to plug the hairdryer in the socket by the bed and therefore had to dry our hair on the bed, which wasn’t a major issue, just an inconvenience and a little loud right next to our baby. Overall, it was a great holiday experience thanks to each and every member of staff!

GGastnutzerWir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir eine wirklich gute Lage hatten, da das Hotel direkt an der roten U-Bahn-Linie von Dubai an der Financial Centre Station liegt, was wirklich gut zu unserem Reiseplan passte. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Burj Khalifa-Turms und der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Innenstadt von Dubai. Wir hatten auch einige Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe, sodass wir nicht weit gehen mussten, um etwas Gutes zu essen oder etwas zu holen.
Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und haben ein festes Bett und große Kissen. Dies ist ein Suitenhotel, daher gibt es in den Zimmern eine ziemlich gute Küche mit Herd, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine/Trockner und Geschirr, das zu allem passt. Die Dusche hatte einen tollen Druck und die Temperatur ließ sich leicht regeln, aber wir waren keine Fans des Duftes der bereitgestellten Badeprodukte. Wir hatten einen ziemlich guten Meerblick und konnten das Burj Al Arab und die World Islands in der Ferne sehen, was uns gefiel. Wir fanden es gut, dass sie uns jeden Tag eine zusätzliche Flasche Wasser gaben, hätten uns aber gewünscht, dass sie vielleicht ein paar Päckchen Waschmittel für den Geschirrspüler und die Waschmaschine beigelegt hätten, da die Mengen im Lobby-Shop größer waren als nötig.
Die Ausstattung dieses Hotels ist ziemlich gut, mit einem Geschäft und einem Restaurant im Erdgeschoss. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum im sechsten Stock und einige buchbare Tagungsräume. Der Pool- und Fitnessbereich ist ebenfalls im sechsten Stock über einen Fußgängerweg erreichbar und ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Der Pool hatte viele Liegestühle und bei unserem Besuch waren einige davon verfügbar. Sie können auch einen Blick auf die Innenstadt zwischen den Gebäuden werfen. Die Umkleideräume sind etwas klein, aber bei meinem Besuch gab es viel Platz und Schließfächer. Ich konnte nicht herausfinden, wie man das Schließfach abschließt und hätte es geschätzt, wenn man mir die Karte dafür gegeben hätte oder wenn sie Anweisungen zur Benutzung der Schließfächer an den Schließfächern gehabt hätten. Das Dampfbad und die Sauna waren sehr klein, aber ich war der Einzige darin, als ich am späten Nachmittag dort war.
Das Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und bei meinem Besuch gab es viele Optionen. Es gab jeden Tag wechselnde Gerichte und während unseres Aufenthalts wechselten sie zwischen Spiegeleiern und Rührei und an einem Tag gab es Brotpudding, an einem anderen French Toast und Pfannkuchen. Es gibt auch eine Auswahl an warmen Speisen wie Würstchen, Bohnen, Rinderspeck, Hash Brown Patties und an einem Tag gab es Shakshouka. An kalten Speisen gab es eine Salatbar, Käse, Joghurt und Obst. Jeden Tag gab es verschiedene Gebäcksorten. Die Getränke waren auch gut, mit wechselnden Säften und einer Kaffeemaschine, aus der man sich seine eigenen Getränke aussuchen und zubereiten konnte.
Das Einchecken verlief reibungslos, aber das Auschecken dauerte erheblich länger und wir wissen nicht wirklich, warum. Sie erklärten, dass es 25-30 Tage dauern würde, bis unsere Anzahlung auf unsere Zahlungskarte zurückerstattet würde, oder dass wir Dinge in ihrem Lobby-Shop kaufen könnten, aber wir brauchten nichts, also werden wir wohl warten müssen. Das Hotel ist sehr hoch und wir stellten fest, dass die Aufzüge im Laufe des Tages ziemlich voll sein konnten, also mussten wir geduldig warten, bis ein Aufzug aus dem oberen Stockwerk, in dem sich unser Zimmer befand, nach unten fuhr, oder uns auf einen manchmal überfüllten Aufzug einstellen.
Insgesamt sind wir mit unserer Hotelwahl für Dubai sehr zufrieden und waren mit der Lage, Dusche, Aussicht, dem Frühstück und dem Zimmer zufrieden.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist relativ neu, es riecht nicht seltsam, das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, der Service ist sehr gut, unten gibt es ein Costa-Kaffee und daneben gibt es einen Supermarkt. Es ist nicht weit von der Stadtbahn-U-Bahn entfernt. aber nicht in der Nähe, es dauert mehr als zehn Minuten zu Fuß. Bei einer Buchung im Voraus liegt der Preis bei etwa 350, was sich wie ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis anfühlt.

EEva G.After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience.
The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldn’t a 4-star hotel manage this better?
Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if you’re tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortable—especially if you’re staying with friends or family. To add, the bed’s mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak of—something we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotel’s location and our specific request for a high floor.
The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markings—pretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something.
On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place.
For breakfast, I agree with other reviews—it’s decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished.
One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requests—like providing coffee capsules and water—there was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard).
Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference.
Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if they’re sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.

SStephenAls jemand, der die QE2 in England aufwachsen sah, war es ein unglaubliches Erlebnis, auf einem so alten und ikonischen Schiff zu sein. Das Schiff ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und hat viele interessante Details des Schiffs bewahrt.
Das Zimmer (Kapitänszimmer mit Balkon) war hervorragend, ruhig, sauber, modern und das Bett war super bequem. Ich kann jedem, der Dubai besucht, einen Aufenthalt auf der QE2 aufgrund des ausgezeichneten Service, der Einrichtungen und des Komforts wärmstens empfehlen.

MMundaneMaidenAs a 5 Star Hotel, The Canvas is a decent one for its price. It's also a part of Accor Hotels, which I really liked, as Accor hasn't disappointed me in all my stays across most of its facilities.
I booked an Executive King Room with Breakfast. I liked the interior around the hotel and inside the room. The room features an open-air bathtub which is really relaxing and it's also worth noting that they are generous with the complimentary goodies as well. 😉 I liked that I didn't have to request for anything upon arrival as the room is fully equipped, clean, and restocked properly. One thing I noticed though is that the air conditioning is not the best, I found myself sweating so bad during my sleep though I could've easily called for assistance but I'm still half asleep so I let it go.
Pool is one of the main things for me whenever I check in. I visited the pool at 8AM (they mentioned upon checking in that it's from 8AM to 7PM and I planned to eat breakfast after a dip in the pool) but I felt dismayed about three main things:
1. It's not open, not even a single soul in the rooftop cleaning the area or preparing the pool. It is blocked with potted plants, barrier posts, tables and (ironically) a sign that says it opens at 8AM. If guests have been informed that it opens at 8AM then it should be open and functional by 8AM. I waited for a good 10 minutes but no one came to open it so I left.
2. The rooftop also converts to a bar at night so you can just imagine that the place is a mess in the morning, they should have someone clean it early in the morning or at least before the pool opens but again no one was there.
3. It didn't look like in the photos. There were a lot of things around that didn't looked like it belonged to a ”rooftop pool/lounge” for me. It's (literally) A bar and A pool cramped altogether in such a small space where it doesn't even feel like it complements each other or even look relaxing in a way. There were 4-5 plastic reclining beds without a ”bed”/foam padding and it's all dusty which could have been actually enough for me to just lay down and stay for awhile to wait until it opens but since it's dusty, I didn't even bother. The rest seems to me like trash from last night's party.
Just for reference, Adagio Hotel (an Accor 4-star hotel) has Crate & Barrel for their sunbeds and towels. 🙈 Novotel (4-star hotel) and is also a part of Accor, also have a really nice rooftop pool/bar where you can relax without even the need of using the pool. It's nothing grand in there but it's already nice for me so I really do feel like this is a huge letdown for The Canvas which has a 5-star hotel rating.
As for the continental breakfast, it's great as all the staff there were really attentive and hands on deck to assist everyone. They even offered a cake and party sparklers to one of the guest which is commendable as it shows that they care about their guests. They have a live egg station, salad bar, juice corner, meats, pastry, cold cuts, and fruits which is a standard but also complete and satisfactory.
Overall, I'd still say that I've enjoyed my stay that I extended for another night. The hotel is decent and their rooms are nice. I'd come back or recommend this to my friends but personally, I would've liked it more if the rooftop pool is maintained properly. Thank you team and all the best for next time ☀️
