Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Columbia / Ft. Jackson

The staff at this hotel were very helpful. I needed an accessible room for my 91 year old grandmother and they made it happen. The rooms are very nice and clean. The gym is the best I’ve seen in a hotel. It has free weights, a peloton, kettle bells, mats, foam rollers and more. Great breakfast with lots of options including healthy ones.

Do not be fooled by management photos misrepresenting the quality of their venue or the glowing reviews in the last 90 days contributed to their first TripAdvisor review. The parking lot in the photos has not looked like that for years. I drove up and thought it was a mistake - this can’t be the hotel. My room was very basic and barely rated 2 stars. The room was very dated and the condition of the shower terrible. They painted over the tile with white paint to cover up something. The peeling paint in the shower was revolting. Since I paid for it in advance I slept and left the next morning without stopping for the free breakfast. Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves for lending their name to a hotel in such poor shape. This has to be one of the poorest hotels I have ever reviewed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk gentleman was quite friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. They are extensively renovating this hotel and we had a beautifully renovated room. We walked to a nearby steakhouse and had a great dinner. Would stay here again.

Walking in the hotel was breathtaking. As I got to the front desk Danny L was very attentive and her service was above and beyond. She made sure everything was taken care of. Great first impression and stay. Also the breakfast is the best in the city.

My trip at Wyndham Garden Was amazing. It felt exactly like home for me and Danny L at the front desk was amazing as well. SHE DESERVES A RAISE LOL !!! I will be back . Room was definitely amazing as well I am most definitely coming back again. Thanks

I was Elated with the front desk clerk, AMAZING. She had amazing customer service & was very helpful! & professional. The lobby is very clean & smells really good when you walk in. Once again woman at the front desk was a great help. & I hope to stay longer!

The customer service at night and during the day was excellent. Especially Danny, shanequia were Exceptional. I didnt get the gentlemen that worked but they were very polite. Elmora was so kind. I'll be back for sure. This trip helped me so much with relaxation

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Garden! We stayed for 3 nights for our son’s graduation from basic training. The customer service was excellent. Dani was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Thank you Dani for your welcoming hospitality and great service!
