The Pratt House delivers as promised in the description and reviews . The hospitable hosts ( Anne and Alan ) were very good at ensuring we were safe, comfortable and well fed at breakfast.
We would definitely use this facility again.

Where do I begin...This place takes you back in time as soon as you enter. If your staying in there area and you book some place else you have made a mistake. This is the mom and pop that just isn't around anymore. We absolutely loved our stay. Very quiet, no little kids running up and down the hallways of a big box corporate hotel. Your mind will race back into years gone by as you take in all the little books, trinkets, and knick knacks scattered around the place. Breakfast was awesome but what we enjoyed most about our stay was the enjoyable conversation we had with the owners as we enjoyed our breakfast. This has now become our go to when visiting family in the area. So don't wait go check this place out

What a beautiful stay at a mansion from 1819! The elderly owners are gems, And serve an exquisite breakfast with 3 courses and fine china! The decor is charming and full of hats from all ages, dolls, china and other. The price is right and I will be staying there every time I visit my family up in the adirondack area.

What an amazing piece of history. The 1819 house and the sweet old couple that own it offer their wonderfully decorated estate with a touch of elegance. The breakfast is well curated with with a fruit and coffee. First course and then a Second course of eggs and portuguese toast. Served with a smile and some good conversation. My son and I shared a room with a nice cot for him, And a very comfortable bed. I named it the house of hats, Dolls, And fine teacups. It feels like a second home that I will return to whenever I can. You also are in the country and yet Just minutes from utica downtown.

It’s an organized hoarding house. Though, you could almost call it a museum of information of all sorts. We we’re staying there one night only, on a road trip,
so obviously not long enough to enjoy the place or area.
The proprietors are delightful and interested in their lodgers stories/different backgrounds and are there to help.
