Super Hostel mit einem unglaublich schönen Ausblick auf Cusco! Gutes Frühstück und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Hatten ursprünglich 4 Nächte gebucht, dann aber sogar um 2 Nächte verlängert, weil wir uns dort sehr gut aufgehoben fühlten. James organisiert als Guide Touren und Ausflüge für die Gäste und berät auch in sonstiger Hinsicht ehrlich und neutral. Die Zeit dort werden wir sehr in Erinnerung behalten. Ein Hostel, das ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen würde! P.s.: An alle Musikliebhaber: es gibt eine Hotel Gitarre

Das Hostel war einfach ausgezeichnet! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und total hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und die Aussicht eine der besten von Cusco würde ich behaupten! Wir hatten ein privates Zimmer im oberen Stock und hatten direkte Sicht über ganz Cusco.

Die (Privat-) Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich, mit eigenem Bad ausgestattet und im oberen Stockwerk mit einem schönen Blick über Cusco. Der Flughafen Shuttle war unkompliziert und kostenfrei. Das inbegriffene Frühstück war lecker (vor allem der frische Orangensaft). Die Mitarbeiter im Hostel (hier vor allem James) informieren über alle Tourangebote ohne einem etwas andrehen zu wollen. Wir haben sehr positive Erfahrungen gemacht und hatten mega gute Touren (Cusco City Tour, sacred valley, Maras & Moray und Salkantay Trek). Danke für alles!

Samay Wasi Hostel's stay was really good. The location seems to be a bit far from the city center but the hostel has great views and cozy rooms. The team was so easy to communicate even though they couldn't speak much English. The breakfast provided by the hostel was good and filling. One of the best hostels I have stayed so far. They have many communal places like a balcony, a sit-out terrace and a small library. They also have a friendly cat on their welcoming committee.

The Samay Wasi was the best part of Cusco for us. We were scheduled to stay in other hostels as well, but dropped all of them in favor of staying at the Samay Wasi. We were there for seven nights. The view for one thing is unmatched in Cusco. The breakfasts are excellent. Price rooms are quiet and have nice showers with hot water. Bed mattresses are actually comfortable. Wifi is better than most hostels. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The best of the hosts is James. He spent a lot of time in the US and speaks perfect English and Spanish. If your lucky, he will be the one picking you up at the airport. He is the man to talk to when it comes to tours and local things to do. He will take care of everything as far as that is concerned. Very calm, patient, and attentive. He will keep you on schedule through What’s App. My brother and his wife will be traveling to Cusco later this year and they will also stay at the Samay Wasi and rely on James as we did. HIGHLY recommend.

The place is not only located in the beautiful and quiet area of San Blas, but the staff is friendly and helpful to the fullest. I would defenitely stay there again and can wholeheartedly recommend this Hostel to other travellers. Extra Bonus: The have the coolest Hostel cat one can imagine ;)

This is one of my favorite hostels I’ve ever stayed at! It was clean and cosy and everyone I met there, staff and guests, were so friendly! James Aguilar was especially helpful during our stay, he picked us up at the airport, helped us organize a tour, gave recommendations, and was always a friendly face at the hostel asking how our day was :) There was always hot water for tea and an excellent view to be enjoyed outside on the balcony. I will absolutely be staying here again the next time I am in Cusco!

A small calm hostel on top of the hill of the splendid city Cusco. Enjoy the terrace in the morning with the served breakfast (tea/coffee, 2 varieties of bread with butter and jam), in the afternoon under the offered parasol or just simply in the evening admiring the city by night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They keep their word and help you on organizing the most common activities around cusco. A special Thank You goes to James, who made my Salkantay Trekking experience possible. Caring and ensuring.
