Hotel la Grange - Animal Chic Hotel

A really great unique hotel. We loved all the animals in the hotel. They have pigs, dogs, chickens goat and more than are all really cute. The property is conveniently located within walking distance to the Skyway Monte Bianco

on the website did they promote the hotel restaurant with pictures of the food showing michelin star quality. I booked the hotel and received also confirmation by email of my reservation for the restaurant for 2 evenings a few months before my stay. Upon arrival did they inform me bluntly that there was no restaurant at all, but their website was still showing pictures of the restaurant ? Only when i checked out did they change the website. The owners reacted very unfriendly when i complained about this. Also the rooms are very old and the noise from the other rooms , toilet flush , piping is horrible so do not stay there if you want to sleep well.

I recently returned from a weekend away with friends staying in this super-friendly and pretty hotel which used to be the village’s granary. The hotel is full of history with photos of the family through generations and heirlooms hanging everywhere. But the rooms aren't old - super comfy beds, plenty of space for ski paraphernalia (plus there is a boot room downstairs along with a sauna and an underground garage, for a small extra cost) and balconies with beautiful views. We opted for a family room with second bedroom on the mezzanine - really spacious and with two bathrooms. The best thing by far were the family and their friends than run the hotel along with the guard pig at the front door, the gorgeous St Bernard who pretends to be a rug and the bunnies and chinchillas by reception, plus of course, the many chickens who provide the eggs for breakfast (fab and included). Everyone was so friendly and helpful and a special mention to the lovely Isabella who was just fantastic - a great raconteur behind the bar, even if we did pay for it with slight headaches the next day! The hotel's restaurant is in another building a minute's walk away and the food there was fantastic. Entrèves is a quiet and pretty village but it’s just a few minutes’ drive from Courmayeur and 5 mins on foot from the Val Veny ski lift where there is a ski hire shop with free storage lockers if you rent from them (there is another shop at the top of the lift too). I would definitely return to La Grange - a perfect spot with a choice of lovely restaurants but the après ski of Courmayeur close by if you want more noise. Super friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. Lovely cabin style hotel with communal area and bar to get together. Suites are available for families or groups of friends which is great, plus they have two bathrooms and everything is super clean and there's enough space to put ski gear like helmets and jackets. Plus there's a boot room for any equipment. Breakfast was included and for dinner there's a lovely restaurant attached to the hotel (just behind it) and a couple of others in the village but otherewise it's pretty quiet.

Fantastic surroundings and beautiful little hotel. Recommend a room with balcony since there is no AC and you might need additional ventilation

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in questo hotel fuori dai normali canoni.. Accolti da un gallo di 50 cm e da 3 maiali,con galline,conigli,cavie che giravano tranqulliamente nelle aree comuni(sempre pulitissime e senza nessun tipo di odore). La camera era normale,ma il vero spettacolo era fuori. Ottimo anche l'aperitivo con gli animali! Se seite amanti degli animali e'un posto in cui soggiornare assolutamente.

Abbiamo scelto,anzi la Grange è stata scelta da mio figlio Tommaso per il nostro viaggio in montagna. Scelta ottima! Ci hanno accolto molto bene e trattati ancora meglio. Stanza familiare ampia, pulizia 🔝. Per non parlare degli amici a quattro zampe! Passeggiata con i lama e visita fattoria bellissime esperienze! Consigliatissimo! Torneremo sicuramente!!!
