Ganz am Anfang muss ich erwähnen, dass dqs Team des Ressorts, von den Menschen, welche die Zimmer in Ordnung bringen, dem Service Personal bei den Buffets, Bars und Restaurants bis zu den Mitarbeitenden am Pool, einfach großartig ist. Alle waren sehr freundlich, immer hilfsbereit und authentisch. Es hat großen Spaß gemacht bei diesen Menschen zu Gast sein zu dürfen. Die Begrüßung der Gäste und Verabschiedung durch die Menschen am Eingang, hat das noch einmal abgerundet. Die Architektur des Hauses ist sehr organisch und ließ uns in jedem Winkel wohl fühlen. Das Sabila wurde vor einigen Jahren komplett renoviert. Die Zimmer sind schön und ausreichend groß. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Küche ist gut. Die Lage ist direkt am Strand, allerdings dadurch recht laut. Im Hotel waren zu etwa 70% britische Touristen, der Rest teilt sich auf auf Deutsche, Spanier, Franzosen etc. bunt gemischt. Das Hotel eignet sich sehr gut für Bade- und Strandurlaub. Auch als Basis für Ausflüge ok, allerdings finden sich fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im Norden der Insel. Lage & Umgebung2,0 Adeje liegt im Südosten von Teneriffa. An der Küste an reiner Touristenort. Den Flughafen Süd TFS erreicht man mit den üblichen Transfers und einem Bus, am schnellsten und einfachsten per Taxi, kostet ca. 27 € einfache Strecke ca. 15 Minuten. Positiv ist, dass das Hotel direkt am Strand liegt. Über einen eigenen separaten Zugang ist man in wenigen Gehminuten am Wasser. Am Strand kann man gegen Gebühr liegen mieten (Ist überall in Spanien so, es gibt keine ”Hotelstrände”). Dafür kann man an den Liegen auch Getränke und Snacks von der Strandbar bestellen. Es gibt einen ”eingezäunten” Bereich rund um die Poolbar. Hier sind die Liegen etwa 4 € teurer, dafür ist WLAN kostenlos und man bekommt einen Klingelknopf zum bestellen und bezahlen. Der Strand selbst ist sauber und schön. Durch die vorgelagerten Wellenbrecher auch sehr sicher. Sehr nervig sind aber die permanenten Händler. Quasi im Minuten Takt wird man angesprochen, verkauft wird hier alles, inkl. Obst und Massagen und natürlich original Rolex Uhren und Ray Ban Sonnenbrillen direkt vom Werk. Im dem o.g. abgesperrten Bereich ist dies etwas weniger, da dürfen die nicht rein. Der Ort selbst ist rein touristisch. Entsprechend ist auch die Umgebung. Aber die ganzen Kanaren sind ja mittlerweile überwiegend touristisch, von dem her... Es wird alles getan um die Einrichtungen instand zu halten, aber irgendwie sieht dich vieles ungepflegt aus. Mein größtes Manko mit dem Hotel ist: Immer und überall wird man vom Gedröhne der Klimaanlagen beschallt. Egal ob am Star Prestige Pool auf dem Dach, Restaurantterrasse, Barterrasse, Zimmerbalkon. Selbst bei geschlossener Balkontüre ist dies noch hörbar. Für jemanden der lärmempfindlich ist, ist das vor allem Nachts ein Albtraum. Ich hatte dies 2019 schon mal bemängelt. allerdings ist das Hotel wohl nicht gewillt, hier Abhilfe zu schaffen. Liebe Managerin: Setzen sie sich mal mit einem Buch auf einen Balkon Richtung Princess Hotel und versuchen Sie konzentriert zu lesen... fast unmöglich. Zu Anfangs dachte ich, der Lärm kommt überwiegend vom Dach des Nachbarhotels, aber auf der Restaurantterrasse ist aufgefallen, dass der Lärm wohl eher vom Sabila ausgeht und durch die bogenförmige Bauweise des benachbarten Princess reflektiert wird. Zur anderen Hotelseite hin ist es etwas ruhiger. Hier hat man zwar eine vielbefahrene Straße mit Kopfsteinpflaster, aber wenigstens nicht dieses permanente Gedröhne. Wenn man bedenkt, dass die teur

These apartments are not modern, but they have everything you need with plenty of storage space and are exceptionally clean, with fresh towels and bedding every 2 days. Daniel on reception was very welcoming and was happy to help us with any questions we had. I don’t know the name of the lady on reception, but she too was lovely and happy to speak to us. The bar staff were lovely and always had a smile. The pool area was very busy but the lifeguard was on hand to get out the emergency sun loungers for those that didn’t have one. There is no music or entertainment of any sort at the hotel so is ideal for a relaxing holiday. A 5 minute walk to main bars but there are other restaurants nearby - green chilli is an excellent choice for an Indian, just a 2 minute walk Loved our stay and will happily book again.

Großes, komfortables Hotel, aber ziemlich alt. Für mich ist das ein 3*-Hotel, überhaupt kein 4. Sehr angenehmes Personal, Begrüßungsgetränk gleich bei der Ankunft, über das Personal gibt es absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Sehr kleiner Parkplatz, Sie müssen einen Platz im Voraus buchen, 10 Euro pro Tag. In der 9., 10. und A-Etage sind die Zimmer „Privilegien“, unterscheiden sich aber tatsächlich nicht von den anderen. Es gab nur eine Kaffeemaschine und ein riesiges Bett. Der Blick vom Balkon auf die Stadt ist wunderbar, aber nachts ist es sehr laut. Es gibt keine Hanteln im Fitnessstudio, obwohl es viele andere Geräte gibt, was seltsam ist.

Just back from a great week in Tenerife, stopping all-inclusive at the Troya. Here are out thoughts... Let's start with the 'elephant in the room', the food. If you read through all the reviews below, you might be worried about this, but don't be! I've no idea why some people have been less than impressed. The choice was plentiful at breakfast (great omelettes made to order), lunch and evening meal. There were theme nights throughout the week and this always included fish and meat options cooked in front of you. On top of this, snacks were available outside of the restaurant opening hours at the poolside bar. The staff were very attentive and the chefs were doing a great job. Our room (305) had a great view over the pool and towards the sea. It looked like it had been recently refurbished, with plenty of storage and a large clean bathroom. The shower was great with shower gel and shampoo provided. It was cleaned daily and fresh towels were available whenever you asked for them. Some have mentioned the noise from the Veronicas *****. This is a small price to pay for the fantastic location of the hotel and you really have to be the lightest of sleepers to be affected. As mentioned, the location is brilliant, right opposite the beach and onto the promenade. Ideally located if you like a walk, to stroll one way to Los Cristianos and the other way to Costa Adeje. We took a great boat trip from Cristianos harbour to see the whales and dolphins. The pool area was lovely and clean with plenty of beds. No need for the morning scramble with towels, although it was the last week in February! Evening entertainment was provided each evening, generally an assortment of singers, although there was one evening with a couple of ladies with hoops and balls etc that were really good. I'm sure everyone will find something they like during the week. All in all, a great hotel, ideally located, with dedicated and attentive staff, I would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay; as good as anywhere we’ve stayed in Tenerife before. Lovely pool with organised activities during the day. Food and drink reasonably priced. Great vibe and close to bars and restaurants. Beach directly opposite the hotel. Good for families, solos and couples. Will definitely come back.
