A disappointing end to our tour of the Italian Dolemites. Staff were unwelcoming, unfriendly, borderline rude. Our room was clean but stuffy and very loud with views of the back bins, not the picturesque views seen in the photos. We were woken at 6:45am by loud loading noises. After having some lovely meals in Cortina, we decided to try the hotel restaurant. I was told I could make a reservation but they needed the table back by 9:15pm which was fine. However we were incessantly reminded of this fact from the moment we arrived until we left. Obviously this did not make our meal an enjoyable or relaxing experience. I ordered the goose confit which was incredibly tough and chewy, not falling off the bone as it should have been. We booked 4 nights with *********** (prepaid) but ended up leaving 1 night early despite this, our chaotic checkout experience confirmed to me that we’d done the right thing by leaving early and going elsewhere. This is not a cheap place and I was definitely hoping for more.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Not the most friendly service but it was ok. Rarely anybody at the front desk but the housekeepers are helpful to track somebody down. Breakfast is quite good (included) and supposedly a very good dinner restaurant but we found the service very inattentive and weren’t impressed.

We (a couple) stayed here for three nights October 2021 as a base for hiking around the Dolomites. It was in a very good location near to some of the most popular hikes (our first time here!). It was particularly useful to us as we were travelling by car and there is free parking here. We are also two men with large appetites and the breakfast did not disappoint! We always had plenty of energy for hiking/via ferrata after the healthy breakfasts of muesli, fruit, ham and cheese, eggs, cake and croissants. This was made much better by Daria's (sorry if spelt wrong!) very happy service at breakfast, with a smile and good humour. Currently the breakfast buffet is served from your selection as you cannot serve yourself (COVID rules), but we never felt restricted about what we could have - Daria just kept offering more! Bedroom and bathroom are very nice - showers are particularly good, hot and powerful. When we return to the Dolomites in future, we will certainly be back! Thanks Daria and team.

Abbiamo cenato e pernottato settimana scorsa. Per ciò che concerne il ristorante I prezzi sono un po’ cari ma i piatti molto curati in una location tipica di montagna, complimenti allo chef si vede che la cucina è il suo forte. Per ciò che concerne il pernotto La camera è accogliente, pecca solo di avere un bagno troppo piccolo, inoltre la colazione con buffet servito da una ragazza ben vestita per evitare sprechi in un hotel che ti fa pagare 300 euro una tripla stona parecchio!!! In montagna la colazione è un Must e dovete rivedere la cosa….

La camera e il bagno (camera n 11) non erano lontanamente simili a quelli nella foto. Avevo scelto questo hotel e non altri disponibili (per una notte) perché ingolosito dalla bellezza delle camere (come da foto nella gallery). Nemmeno una presa schuko (tipo tedesca) in tutta la stanza. Colazione modesta con una austera signorina che ti serviva al buffet. Uova solo alla coque o sode. Croissant vuoti. Se li volevi con la marmellata ti davano una marmellata monodose, quella del buffet in modo da farcire il croissant da solo. Il giovane al check in molto gentile, la signorina giovane con capelli biondi corti al check out la mattina del 22 molto antipatica. A Cortina comunque tutto ciò è accettabile. Solo oltre passo Cima banche, in sudtirolo, tutto ciò sarebbe stato inaccettabile.
