Das Hotel liegt zentral in Cordoba. Früher angekommen konnten wir das Gepäck lagern und die Stadt zu Fuss erkundigen. Als wir zurückgekommen sind, haben wir ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Empfangs erhalten, direkt zur Strasse. Leider entspricht das Zimmer sogar nicht den tollen Bildern die man überall findet. Das Badezimmer war dreckig, es hatte Schimmel an dem Fugen und es hatte noch Haare im Badezimmer. Als mein Mann nach einem anderen Zimmer fragte, hiess es, es hat kein anderes mehr frei, weil sie voll sind. Als ich mich am Empfang auch noch beschwerte, war plötzlich ein anderes Zimmer verfügbar. Das andere Zimmer war doppelt so klein, aber immerhin sauber. Dieses Erlebnis im Hotel war für uns sehr komisch. Wir sind im Andalusien 2 Wochen mit dem Rucksack herumgereist anstelle eines Koffer, bin mir nicht sicher ob wir deshalb so ein schlechtes Zimmer erhalten habe. Vor dem Hotel ist aussen auch ein Stern abgeklebt. Nie nie wieder...

What a lovely hotel! It’s in a great location, easy to walk to from the train station and is in the heart of the old town. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. There are cheerful murals painted on the center courtyard and the rooms are immaculate and everything works fine. There is a lovely rooftop patio with an honor bar. There are several choices for breakfast located nearby the hotel. We are so glad we chose the Carpe Diem for our short Cordoba getaway.

Very comfortable stay! In a great location. A little worried about previous review being in RM 100 but our stay was very quiet. No windows tho. We only stayed for 1 night and checked in 9pm so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel. For the price i paid for i can’t complain. It had everything we needed for a comfortable quick stay. Staff very welcoming and nice.

This hotel is in the middle of the old town and a bit difficult to find. However, it is a very nice and comfortable hotel with very nice staff. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

This hotel is in a suberb location in the Jewish quarter of Cordoba which is a great start to a holiday. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the house keeping staff did a fantastic job in cleaning the room. Our room was a good size and clean. So all excellent but the highlight for me was the roof terrace with honesty bar which was a fabulous way to end the evening enjoying a drink with a night view of fabulous Mezquita in Córdoba in the middle of November . Very highly recommended and would definitely return to this outstanding hotel which is excellent value for money.

This is a gem of a little hotel. Very close to all of the historical bits (5 mins on foot) and bars/cafes (1 min on foot). Very clean and tidy. No frills but everything you need. Even has a roof terrace and some drinks etc which you help yourself to and pay in an honesty box. Only listed as 2 star, but really good. Staff very helpful too!

We were given one of the newly furnished rooms on the 4th floor which was very modern. The only thing I didn’t like was it had a frosted bathroom door which didn’t close properly so one had little privacy. Apart from that small matter the hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and even printed out some excursion tickets for me as I was having problems with my mobile phone. There is an honesty fridge upstairs for drinks which was very useful and a fabulous roof terrace. The location couldn’t have been any better and only 5 minutes walk to the Mezquita. We were doing a tour of Andalucia and this was by far our favourite hotel and location. We would absolutely recommend it. No breakfast facilities but the Cafe Viena just around the corner was excellent.

The 2 rooms on the main floor (100 & 102) are pretty terrible for noise. They are in the lobby and the housekeeping closet is right in between. Plumbing noises front above units are frequent as well as when rain is draining through the walls. Staff was nice and location excellent.. Not sure if other rooms were much nicer.
