First few lines about Kanatal....could not believe that the place still remains unspoilt being so close to Mussoorie. Wide hill road from Rishikesh till Chamba and then rustic journey towards Kanatal. This hill station is suitable for nature lovers and specially for jungle trekkers. Kaudia Forest is an additional gift from God. Now Amaya Resort is a new construction with a great view and a super F&B experience. Suite 101 is the best; we stayed at 103 which was also spectacular with full valley view balcony. The room standards are semi 5*. Staff are professional yet warm hearted. Real fine dining experience at the restaurant which also has a great valley view; special mention about the pahadi mutton and 'gaith ki dal'. We were on half board and were fed very well. Suggest to book half or full board as no options for good restaurants near by. The very kind hotel ***agers allowed me to sip my single malt in peace while having my food; the bar is not yet operational. For those sinners of my kind, please carry your own booze as it is locally not available in Kanatal. The hotel can also cater to marriage events as it has halls and ample space for guests. For discerning customers, the hotel has a small library and seating area on the 1st floor; better to carry your own favourite books. This is a place for the cultured and calm. Tariff is not suitable for budget travellers. Youngsters with strange hair cut and driving Thar with booming speakers may find Kanatal a bit dull. Also, ladies who are used to shop at hill stations will be grossly dissapointed as there are no shops other than few groceries. We went to Tehri; those not interested in a soaking speed boat ride experience may drop the idea; its an hour drive each way. Want to come back during winters for the snow. NRIs & OCI - please do not miss Kanatal and this particular Amaya Resort if you happen to be in Delhi or anywhere up north. Jai Mata Sarkunda Devi !!

After a long journey, you finally see the board with name Amaya on it and cross your fingers since without any recommendation is what you book the place. The moment you enter the get you begin to get the positive vibes, and as soon as you enter the reception, the warmth of the hotel is realised and feel delighted. The mesmerising view, super well dressed staff, warm behaviour and quick response, high standards of room keeping and a never say no for any service gets you spell bound. Lots activities around the place and well guided by the staff in the hotel. Highly recommended Hotel to stay.

Great location & views... Well appointed rooms... Attentive service & great food. Amenities and comfort of the rooms were impressive. Overall great value of the money... Fits family as well as group vacation plans well

Our stay at Amaya was a memorable experience. It was indeed a pleasure staying at Amaya resort. The mesmerizing view of the mountains was breathtaking.It felt so surreal away from the maddening crowd. The staff was very warm and friendly, fulfilling all our needs, especially our 6 year olds. The food tasted so delicious and tasty. Thanks to the chef for that. Special thankyou to the owner of Amaya Resort , Mr. Sanjay Panwar for the amazing hospitality. Will surely visit the place again😊

Room type - Superior Valley View Duration - June 8 and June 9 It was indeed a pleasure staying at the property. Everything felt so value proposition , wether the courteous staff , specially the ***ager ***oj Badoni or the quality and taste of the Food or the cleanliness of the rooms and property on the whole or the scenic beauty around. There is feeling of belonging amidst the hills and away from Chaos or hustle and bustle of the main stream place like Mussoorie. Our stay here was after checking out from a what so called a lavish and well established property out there in Mussoorie, so back of our mind was a comparative factor , however to our present surprise the stay at Amaya Resort was far superior an experience specially for the hospitality and the food. Lip smacking Chicken Lababdar and Dal Makhani is a must have. To close proximity they have Dhanoulti , Surkanda Devi shrine , Forest safari amidst Kaudia forest and Teri Water sports. Even staying here in this property and visiting Mussoorie for a day is worth a value. Initially we were a bit sceptical as we were traveling for the first time with our 10 month old kid, However this property is totally kid friendly. Just that they didn't have child seat at the restaurant , which by the time I am writing this review, must have been sorted as the ***ager already initiated the request to procure a couple of baby seats. Wifi connectivity was again a preority since me as well my wife were working from the hills and absolutely no issues whatsoever. Infact the niche property based out of Mussoorie had hell lot of issues with cellular and wifi receptions ( Paid Wifi). But here in Amaya there wasn't any cellular reception or Wifi related issues. Thank You team Amaya for hosting us so very well. For future travellers wether solo or family , a single line from a highly satisfied customer - ' Just Blindly go for it'. It's an amazing experience altogether.

Picture Perfect View from Open Restaurant Area.. Lovely the food and great recreation area for indoor and outdoor games... enjoined well.. What a nature walk with clear air and sun :A tonic to souls and body....
