Concorde House Luxury Apartments - Chester

This is a very basic BASEMENT apartment, there is a small window in the lounge, and a small window in the bedroom. The pillows were the very thin, we had to go and buy proper pillows, no cutlery available, and we had no sleep due to a machine that kept operating during the night. I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Terrible experience! Stayed in December and could not get the heating working. No super from the owner. Came home a day early but they refused to refund for the night. Definitely one to avoid. Bathroom stank and the apartment was lower ground floor, it smelt damp and the windows were above head height. Definitely NOT luxery!!

I rented apartment #3 for 1 month. What the description and the pictures do not say and do not show is that 6 apartments (on 7) of this establishment are located in the basement of the building with thin and ´low to the street’ windows. Appartment #3 is on the sidewalk of a busy street (pedestrians, cars and buses). Consequently the luminosity of the apartment is extremely low even the sunny days (absolutely not as on the photos presented on the website) and there was an almost complete vis à vis with the street on the living-room and the bedroom. In addition to this bad surprise, there is an noisy water leak that I noticed and reported as soon as I entered the apartment and that was repaired only 9 days later (so after 1/3 of my stay) after having contacted the owner and Booking’s customer service almost every day. This apartment was not in accordance with its description on the websites and the level of service provided was below my expectations. I raised a complaint towards the owner but he never replied to me.

Great location and modern apartments. Would recommend for pleasure or business. We stopped over in august 2023 and found the apartments very clean and modern. I particularly enjoyed Apartment number 3 which had a separate Living-room and bedroom

We were 2 couples. My friend booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night to celebrate his 70 th birthday. He brought food to cook us all a breakfast the following morning. We arrived to find we had been given a 1 bedroom apartment. We phoned the contact number given , but there was no reply. We contacted *********** who also tried to contact the owner with no success and then said they would get back to us in the next 24 hrs ! It was now 6pm on a Sunday night. We had to book another room at a nearby hotel. We had spent several hours trying to sort it out. The following morning my friend gave up on the idea of cooking breakfast as there wasn't enough pans etc to do this . There wasn't even enough kitchen items for 2 people. We had been told that there was free parking and when we arrived a note left said we were to park in parking space no. 1 only. Another car was parked in this space and there were no free spaces in the little car park so we had to pay to park on a nearby car park. 24 hrs later my friend was offered £19.35 compensation ! Need I say more? !

Easy to find and parking for £7 directly behind the apartment. Apartment was clean and tidy. Few marks on walls and sofa. We paid £102 so for that, it was ok. Quite near to pubs and shops. Check in simple enough and the company stayed in contact regularly with updates and how to check in.

New apartment in central location in Chester. Parking over the road, £6.50 for 24hrs. Everything very clean, lovely and warm. Great communication from Alex who messaged every day to see if there was anything we needed. we will definitely stay here again!! I notice that some people are writing about it being too warm, well, as we went when it was really cold, the warmth was really welcome.

We stayed at Concorde house for a last minute stay for one night. We were given photo instructions on how to get into the building with a special code given to us, this code was incorrect and so we had difficulty getting in. We rang the reception but absolutely no reply… I checked my messages again to double check the code and there was another one written in text which was different to the one on the photo instructions. If we had not have checked, we would have been locked out. I feel there needs to be an out of hours number for any issues like we experienced. The actual apartment is nice and modern, however it is quite small and claustrophobic as it is in the cellar. Our bathroom didn’t feel very clean and the drain was clogged which did not let out a great smell. Kitchen could also do with some more utensils. Car park is situated nearby with only £8 charge for the night which was handy. Overall we did have a pleasant stay and it was okay for a night , however I don’t think we would return to Concorde house.
