Ibis is really a nice place to stay. The location is in the city center where you have all easy access to wherever you want to go. The transportation system in the area is very friendly. You can get a toktok motorcycle to bring you anywhere you want to sight seeing.

Gut über die Lage, wenn jemand Zugang zum Chennai-Bahnhof braucht. Hotel ist sauber und ich wurde auf größeres Zimmer upgradiert. Schwimmbad ist klein, aber sehr sauber. Frühstücksauswahl war sehr gut. Hotelartikel sind sehr freundlich. Das einzige, was ich überhaupt nicht gefallen hatte, war das Abendessen in einem der Restaurants mit dem Namen einige “Kebab” (genauer Name kann nicht erinnern) . Das Essen für Vegetarier war ca. INR 2200 + ( Ich bekam obwohl 15% Rabatt als Hotelgäst ) , aber das Essen war für mich schrecklich , trotz der unmittelbaren Rückmeldung, noch niemand verstand meinen Geschmack & Präferenzen, Ich habe auch schlechte Bewertungen vor Ort an die Restaurant ***ager ... Ich würde 2/10 an dieses spezielle Kebab Restaurant geben, aber andere als das würde 8.5/10 andere Dinge geben

Ich hatte die wunderschönste Erfahrung bei Taj Connemara. Von der Kontrolle, wo mein Empfangsmitglied mich upgraded, bis zu meinem Treffen mit Gracy Varghese, die mein müdees und verbrachtes Zustand bemerkte und mich zu Fußbad in mein Zimmer schickte. (Ich war so berührt, dass ich schreien konnte) sie wurde Gott gesandt. Cherry auf dem Kuchen war mein Abendessen im Regenbaum. Venky und Arpita sorgten dafür, dass ich ein wenig alles versuchte und nicht einmal, dass sie mich fühlen, dass ich allein auf einer Arbeitsreise essen, Chef Vinod kochte leckere Delikatesse und der Payasam war aus der Welt. Ich bin so froh, hier zu bleiben, in Chennai verliebt dank des freundlichen Personals von Taj Connemara. Wird sicher wieder besuchen und mit der Familie zurückkommen. Sehr empfehlen! ♥️

Its nicely located in the middle of old town. but this means that the views are boring. i think the hotel is just coming out of covid issues as it is understaffed and most of the resaturants are closed and the food its iffy at best. i spend the the first hour of my stay as they relaced the mini fridge that had stopped wokking and had leaked all over the wood cabinet leading to a stink. next day i spend three hours waiting for maintaince to water proof the bathroom that was leaking into the sleeping area. the third day i had to watch for an hour as the Ac maintaince were trying to repair a leak which had seeped into the false ceiling leading to a new smell. The rooms are nice and spacious. so are teh bathroom but the WC is located in a tiny alcove in the bathroom making it unconfortable to reach for the health faucet. teh towels are clean and the beds confortable. the writing cair and table are well made and teh easy chair is also comfortable even for a big sized *** like me. the laundry service is efficient. the complimentary Tata branded tea and coffee is undrinkable, so is whatever brand of creamer they use. i dont undersand why they dont just use amul and nescafe. inroom entertainment is still just basic tamil cable TV. room cleanliness is average with cobwebs on the bathroom sink and tea stains on the floor. again this is due to understaffing and overworking the existing staff. the staff themself is very helpful and hardworking. the restaurant is understaffed but despite this, the staff were helpful and pleasant. and the chef's range is a bit limited. the lobby area is nice and spacious, but the corridors poorly maintained with gaps in the carpets and the floors leading to repeated tripping risks. the carpets stink. the pool on the roof is nice and large but can only be used ealy mornings or in the evenings as it has no awning. I had a pleasant swim one evening and wounddown on the comfortable deck chairs. the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired. the gym is well equipped. they have a spa but didnt have male massuese so could be utilized. but it looked clean and pleasant. wifi connectivity was good through out the hotel and not spotty at all. basically this could be a great hotel if they staffed it well and updated basic infrastcuture and threw out their stinking carpets. But it looks like staff will be made to do more and more with less and less. would i visit again? unlikely.

Sehr guter Ort, um in Chennai zu bleiben, insbesondere für Geschäftsreisende. Sie beginnen mit einer sehr professionellen Kontrolle in Erfahrung von der Frontbüro-Personal geführt von dem immer hilfreich und lächelnd Mr. ALEX. Sehr gutes Essen, schlaues Frühstück. Ein Besuch im Innenrestaurant Oriental Blossom ist eine Notwendigkeit. Ruhe sicher, dass der ***Ager Mr. Bala gut aufpassen und Sie mit dem besten chinesischen Essen verpflegen wird. Sehr empfehlenswert.

The Hotel is a well maintained massive property. Beach facing rooms give a breathtaking view of the sea and are bound to make your stay memorable. The hotel is full of ***y courteous and helpful staff like Sital who work round the clock for enhanced hospitality of guests.

Wir waren 5 Wochen geschäftlich hier und werden wieder kommen. Im Vergleich zum letzten Mal hat sich der Service extrem verbessert. Unser Dank gilt vor allem an die Buttler/in in der Lounge, allem voran Rajiv, Mohan und Supryia. Sie haben sich immer ganz toll um uns gekümmert und waren immer ausgesprochen nett zu uns. Weiter so! Wir freuen uns, Euch bald wieder zu sehen. Danke auch an Bela Babhoota, die uns organisatorisch immer geholfen hat. Wir haben auch ein tolles Suite Upgrade bekommen, was aber zuletzt auch dem Mitgliedsstatus zu verdanken war und das wir nicht das günstigste Zimmer vorab gebucht hatten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, bequeme Betten und weiße Handtücher, was nicht immer in jedem Hotel der Fall ist Zudem war das Team vom Housekeeping vor allem Varghese und Afridi immer freundlich zur Stelle. Unser Zimmer wurde immer ganz toll mit Blumen und Obst ausgestattet und ab und zu gab es kleine Aufmerksamkeiten. Auch Parash war sehr nett. Ganz toll ist die Poollandschaft, die wir nun endlich nach der Covid Pause besuchen und nutzen durften. Leider fehlt hier ein Getränke und Essensservice. Auf Anfrage bekommt *** zwar etwas, aber ein regulärer Service hier wäre angebracht. Das Fitnessstudio ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der Wäschereiservice ausgezeichnet. Die Schokolade im Farbelle ist ausgezeichnet und steht internationalem Standard in hoher Qualität in nichts nach. Danke auch an Nayan, der uns immer guten Kaffee in Barista Qualität zubereitet hat. Der Transfer vom Flughafen hat auch bestens geklappt uns war sehr freundlich. Danke auch nochmal an den Concierge, der unser Gepäck vorab in Gewahrsam genommen hat. Auch Rafiq vom Concierce Team war immer sehr freundlich und hat uns immer sehr nett begrüsst. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel, bei dem der Service noch etwas verbessert werden kann. Vor allem beim Frühstück, das um 6.30Uhr nie bereit war und der Service wohl noch ehr im Schlafmodus war. 30min auf einen Cappuccino zu warten und das auch nur nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung ist zu lang. Wenn *** später frühstückt ist das besser. Oder beim Brunch am Sonntag im italienischen Ottimo, wo wir nach geschlagenen 3 Std. noch nicht mal bei der Hauptspeise waren und der Service nicht gerade höflich und hilfsbereit war. Aber ansonsten war alles top und wenn es Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln gab, wurde dies sofort behoben. Wir waren soweit voll zufrieden und kommen im Juni wieder. Bis ***in Danke für alles!

As the name suggests, it’s a decent hotel for quick travellers, who don’t expect much. But sometimes, basic expectations are disappointing as well. The rooms are sufficient, with the basic of basic needs met. A shower, twin beds, a washroom, locker, mini fridge and a basin is all that is there. Yes some rooms have a work table as well. The concerns start outside the room, lack of AC in the dining area, non operational lifts, blocked sinks, non operational ac in the room, an entrance which does not have a canopy, etc are the things I have seen in a 3 night stay. The staff is relatively inexperienced and try to handle the situation, but can get annoying at times.
