Die Lage des Hotels war für meine Bedürfnisse gut. Es gibt zwei bis drei schöne Cafés in der Umgebung und zu Sehenswürdigkeiten konnte *** sich ein Taxi nehmen und war in 10-15 Minuten dort. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich. Zum Flughafen sollten *** bis zu 45 Minuten einplanen.

Den Bewertungen zufolge war es ein sauberes Hotel mit gutem Service und einem komfortablen Aufenthalt. Auch das Abend- und Frühstücksbuffet im Restaurant war köstlich. Es gab einen Begrüßungsapfel, zwei Flaschen Mineralwasser, mehrere Sorten Teebeutel und Instantkaffee und es war schön, nach dem Einchecken im Zimmer entspannen zu können. Wie ich in anderen Bewertungen gesehen habe, ist der Abfluss im Duschraum nicht sehr gut, *** muss also vorsichtig sein. Als ich an der Rezeption auscheckte, sagte er mir, dass Taxis zum Flughafen teuer seien, also bat er mich, ein Uber zu nehmen, und als ich versuchte, Geld gegen einen kleinen Geldbetrag umzutauschen, weil ich nicht genug Bargeld hatte Er sagte mir, dass er zu diesem Zweck kein Geld umtauschen würde. Er bot mir sein Taschengeld an. Ich habe in vielen Ländern in Hotels übernachtet, aber dies ist das erste Mal, dass ich eine solche Gastfreundschaft erlebt habe. Ich denke, einen Mitarbeiter wie ihn zu haben, macht dieses Hotel so großartig.

Had a pleasant stay for 3 nights. The room was spacious and super clean. Breakfast could not be better, they had a live cooking station for orders to cook, a variety for everyone. We went for drinks at the terrace on our third night as it wasnt raining and was accompanied by a live band. Recommended place to stay if you're planning on netflix and chill in the room.

1) Immediately on booking, was asked by the Hotel to do an online check in providing KYC docs - so that on arrival at hotel, room allocation will be smooth and speedy Sadly, Mr. Dhanush at the FO insisted that we go through the whole KYC formalities once again - when asked what happened to the on-line check in, he had no reply. All he was interested in doing was to peer into his computer screen, muttering something under his breath. The scanner that he was trying to use to get a copy of our KYC docs was not working - more delay. His colleague standing next to him was most reluctant to help him out. Took us all of 20 + minutes to get a room allotted. 2) The room was booked for 2 adults. Only 1 bath towel + 1 hand towel was provided. The bath towel had an ugly red stain in one corner - obviously either unwashed and recycled or improperly washed. The shampoo and bath gel containers were EMPTY. Other toiletries normally found in bathrooms were missing. Had to complain few times to Housekeeping and Front Office with little effect. Only a threat of a GOOGLE review of the pathetic state of affairs in the hotel brought instant redressal of the various shortcomings. The lady looking after Housekeeping has an excuse for every shortcoming - laundry is outsourced, room boys not diligent in doing their jobs, blah blah blah 3) The swimming pool, that was to open at 6am, required a complaint to the FO before an unwilling staff came to open the pool. The tap to operate the shower was dysfunctional. No towels are provided. No bath gel to wash off the pool water chemicals was provided. WHAT A COME DOWN FOR A HOTEL THAT ONCE BOASTED OF SUPERIOR FACILITIES THAT ATUALLY WORKED!!!!

The staff are warm and friendly the environment is very beautiful the amenities perfect. One couldn’t ask for more

Hotel looks lovely and on the surface seems like a high quality hotel. But the service was seriously shambolic. They didn't provide hand towels in the room, we had to ask several times for them before they finally appeared. The breakfast was bizarre - noone manning the coffee station but you weren't allowed to serve yourself (it was just a push button machine). No decaffeinated tea or coffee. It took ages to receive the love station food even though the breakfast room wasn't even 1/4 full as we were very early. They agreed to book us a taxi but on reconfirmation they had no record of it, so they tried to persuade us to instead use the hotel charter vehicle for 4x the price! It's a shame, for the price we expected better service and less chaos.

Stayed for three nights and enjoyed every bit of it. Age of hotel is showing but service still excellent !! Breakfast was outstanding. Will stay again, no doubt.

Location far compare to their prev hotel Anna Nagar.Overall excellent and I think their breakfast quality not as good as used to be before this.Doesnt feel 5 start hotel maybe more like international standard 4 star only

Good .. clean .. worth for stay .. value for money

The Hotel was a bit swamped for this trip, service levels dropped, we requested 3 times for them to remove a jasmine diffuser as my wife was allergic but they kept ignoring our request. My wife fell sick and threw up 3 times, great amenities but service was lacking.

Always a comfortable stay at The Raintree, St Marys! Reservations are always well taken care of and staff always go the extra mile to be of help. Special mention to Rahul, Ritu, Ashton and Uma for making the stay really pleasant and for taking care of every small detail. Truly appreciate their stellar service! Look forward to be back

Service was excellent - we had a morning flight and had to leave the hotel at 6am. The front desk staff noted that we had paid for breakfast and prepared a little breakfast box for us in the morning. How thoughtful! The facilities were clean and tidy as well! Would definitely return.

The property is in a prime location that connects the arterial roads in Chennai. The rooms are well equipped and the food service was excellent. It is an ideal destination for business travelers and also families.

Pleasant stay. Comfortable room. Useful amenities.
