neaty mainatained
lifts shold have been in the middle of each floor rather than at the end
north indian restarant is worth a try
breakfast sready is good but go early to get good attenton
some rooms are modified which are very good
others are old styled wooden flooring which smells

Great Experience and would rate the property atleast 4.5 out of 5 or higher, but for the fact that the ***agement is trying to save costs by cutting corners, such as by 1. Reducing air conditioning at late night/ very early morning causing Increased temperature in the room leading to disturbances to sleep. 2. The air-conditioning is also kept per***ently OFF in the passages leading to rooms making that quite suffocating each time one enters and exits the room. Great Team who were very responsive, although they seemed under staffed; and feel bad to take away their due credit! To be fair, even now, at 4.45 am, they have responded positively to my call of 20 minutes ago.

I'm on a short visit to Chennai with my accommodation needs taken care of. However, I don't have access to a swimming pool. Yes I could go to the beach.. but I wanted to be beside a pool, jump in the pool and enjoy a relaxing, no stress stay. I stopped off at the WelcomHotel and asked if they allow non-residents to use their facilities; after a brief conversation with the duty ***ager, I was allowed to use the pool and other facilities. Thanks, it was a lovely chill out moment, topped with a beer at the bar before leaving

The location is great with easy access to different parts of the city. It seems that the hotel has been recently renovated and the appearance is great. Rooms are quite large and spacious. The Club room that I had booked was like a mini suite. Facilities are excellent. Food is great and delicious. Truly recommend this hotel.

I have been coming to this hotel for so ***y years but after its renovation I have been here to stay recently. I m thrilled to see the hospitality here...each n every staff member was so friendly and cooperative.room is so beautiful and comfortable....food here is amazing. I just love coming to this hotel for stay, for lunch or dinner . I had a great experience here .and even the GM of the hotel Mrs. Ila prabhu has been very kind and always inquired about my comfort whenever she saw me.i just love her sweet gesture. I must suggest that it's must visit for every traveller's who loves great hospitality and great food.

It’s been one of the best and warmest experiences I have had in last few years . I am an avid traveller and love to stay in best of hotels . The new revamped look of this hotel also has new energy , warmth with it . The food as usual is to die for right from their mini samosas to bisibella bath and Chinese at the new signature restaurant . What was the highlight was that the GM Of the hotel Mrs Ila who was as receptive , available and warm as her team . Every valid request was accepted with a smile on her face . Normally I never get to even see the GM’s of the hotels even during my long stay but here she is setting a lovely example for her entire team by taking personal care of the guests . I don’t think I could have found a better hotel or I should say home away from home right in the heart of the city

Nice staff housekeeping was helpful and one staff was nice biki das .. Housekeeping staff was helpful. What I request it gets in time especially one staff called biki ... The Cleaniness of the room was so tidy and clean and hygiene.. It is good

I am writing this as I am staying at this hotel. My family abd I waited for food the first day but we didn't mind. The second day was really bad. They had run out of most of the food items though we were there by 9.45am. I walked out after 40 mins waiting for one dosa without eating. I had gone to the counter 8 tines abd asked 10 different people to get one Dosa. It is ridiculous to have this kind of service. They had no system and kept serving for everyone else who came after abd not following the order written for the Dosa counter. I had asked to speaker to the ***ager while I was at the restaurant and twice after I cane back to the room and still there is no call. Completely unprofessional. The rooms are good and the housekeeping was also good. We asked for rooms near each other much in advance as we had some elderly relatives but they split us and even after we kept asking for rooms the ne t day, They never got back.
