Il personale di Palazzo San Giorgio è molto disponibile e competente, mi ha fornito tutte le informazioni che ho richiesto durante il mio soggiorno (indicazioni stradali, ristoranti, musei ecc). Ho alloggiato una notte in una bellissima ed elegante junior suite, luminosa ed estremamente pulita. Ho trovato l’arredamento dell’intera struttura molto moderno e curato nei minimi dettagli. Quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stata la colazione….buffet vastissimo e tanta scelta anche alla carta. Sebbene sia molto bella la spa non è grandissima e questo la rende un ambiente accogliente. Super raccomandato!!

Das Hotel und die Anlage mit Pool sind sehr schön. Zimmer und Balkon groß (Standart DZ) Frühstück mit Lachs und Sekt, lecker italienischer Käse und S*****en, viele süße Teilchen. Also für italienische Verhältnisse ziemlich viel. Personal nett aber nicht zuvorkommend. Wir hatten nur Frühstück. Im Restaurant essen und besonders die Getränke teuer. ZB Bier 7€ Aperol und Martini 12€. Liegen am Strand (an einem anderen Restaurant) inklusive. Sehr schöner breiter Sandstrand. Nur 3-4 Restaurants in der Nähe zu Fuß, aber lecker Essen. Bus 1€ nach Catania Stadt. Taxi 25€ pauschal vom Flughafen oder in die Stadt (für 4km).

I really wanted to enjoy this hotel/bed & breakfast but I cannot recommend to anyone. I've waited a week before writing this review - I booked through ******* who funnily enough won't let me write a review...is it because there are known problems I only stayed 1 night out of 3 without any goodwill refund! There was no welcome checkin ust call a number and send over your passport info in exchange for a pass code to gain entry - very impersonal - also told to leave tourist taxes money on the side in my room (not likely as no receipt!) The place is clean but it's also very dark the room has ensuite but the step is double the normal (building regulations) height which is dangerous for anyone well or afflicted in anyway there was Breakfast food in the room but only coffee and water to drink no tea! There is a TV which dominates the room but worst of all the bed faces the door so your feet point outwards to the door VERY BAD sleeping position and finally the door handle came away in my hand on arrival prior to even entering the room! BUT this was fixed before bedtime. I cannot recommend this place to anyone - I expect the owner who had other matters to tend with instead of welcoming guestswas happy to meet me on my departure but reluctant to refund the remaining two days stay which is understandable as it was booked through ******* whom I do not trust anymore as they don't vet their properties so whats the point! There needs to be someone to welcome guests -there needs to be light in the place to make it welcoming and the bed position needs to be reviewed and most importantly the step to the ensuite is danpgerously high. I wish I didn't have to say all this but its true. I see that previous reviewers of this place have endured the owner wrath in response - but I'd like to say take the reviews as an opportunity to learn and improve the property not as a personal attack.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in Catania. Genächtigt haben wir im Palazzo Bruca. Manuela hat uns trotz später Anreise super lieb empfangen und uns noch einen Tisch in einem Restaurant gebucht. Ruhige Lage im Hinterhof und alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen . Der Aufzug ist ein Highlight.

Das Hotel liegt optimal im Zentrum von Catania, nicht mal 1 Minute zum Domplatz und zum berühmten Fischmarkt. Sehr freundliches Personal am Empfang und eine gute und sehr moderne Ausstattung der Zimmer, obwohl das Haus in einem altem Gebäude ist. Hier gibt es unterschiedliche Kategorien, jedes Zimmer ist einem Film-Thema gewidmet und entsprechend ausgestattet. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert, da wir auf dem Domplatz Granita & Brioche genießen wollten, aber es gibt im Haus eine tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt inklusive Ätna. Wir würden in jedem Fall wieder hier übernachten und sind begeistert von der Altstadt Catania mit solch vielen Restaurants/Cafes und einem tollem gemütlichem Flair zum Bummeln.

Our stay at Quattro Canti Suites in Catania was absolutely wonderful, and it was all thanks to Luca's exceptional hospitality! The hotel itself is a true gem, boasting a clean, modern, and beautiful design that created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. From the very beginning, Luca's communication was superb. He ensured that everything was perfectly arranged for our arrival, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. Luca went the extra mile by accommodating our dietary restriction, providing us with a breakfast that perfectly suited our needs. Luca's attentiveness didn't stop there. He even helped us secure reservations at a restaurant we were eager to try, and the dining experience turned out to be fantastic. Throughout our stay, Luca was always available and happy to answer any of our questions, making us feel like valued guests. His genuine care and attention to detail truly made our stay memorable and enjoyable. I cannot praise Luca and Quattro Canti Suites enough for their outstanding service. If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in Catania with a host who truly cares about your experience, I highly recommend this hotel. Five stars without a doubt! The website clearly doesn’t reflect reality. This is NOT a place we would ever enter willingly again. The rooms are nothing like advertised .From the reception where we were handed a room key and an air conditioner remote ( yes - and don’t ask me why the remote is not left in the room with the air conditioner!) through the narrow steep stairs ( there is no lift) and corridors that smelt of stale food, to what was touted as a room for 4 people with mini bar and balcony, things only declined. The room was awful. And that is putting it kindly. Green walls with a weird “ damp effect” that makes it look like the walls are peeling, dirty looking green bedcovers and matching curtains and furniture that looks battered and grey. The sheets at least seemed clean but one of the bedcovers had a hole it it - a cigarette burn. An awful bathroom where the flush didn’t work and you had to put your hand INTO the flush by lifting the cover and putting your hand into the mechanism to manually lift the lever...No fridge, no balcony - instead a window that overlooked a fire escape with a view of a red bucket and a a broom... Can it get worse? Yes, because the rooms stank of cigarette smoke.....and don’t start me on the lighting - dull and grey. An utterly depressing miserable room.... We spent 15 minutes in the room, got onto the Internet ( and I have to say the WiFi seemed to work well) and booked a fabulous set of clean,, joyful COVID compliant rooms exactly a 4 minute walk away. And left. We paid 84 euros ( yes you get what you pay for) for spending 15 min in this place and the pleasure of knowing we will never return. So unless you are someone who just needs a place to sleep, don’t worry too much about sanitized spaces, couldn’t be bothered about a loo that doesn’t works and don’t mind cigarette burns on your bedcovers and the smell of stale cigarettes, this place may not work for you.....And don’t ever go with kids. Mine are pretty hardy and have travelled around the globe - but this place got them depressed in minutes. Escape was a joy.

Da das Hotel, das ich buchen wollte, nicht gebucht war, habe ich dieses Hotel am Tag blind gewählt und das Zimmer kann den Sonnenaufgang beobachten, was sehr romantisch ist. Es ist fünf Minuten zu Fuß vom Geschäftsviertel der Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt und nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Frühstück war gut und voll! Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass einige Teile der Einrichtungen im Zimmer lose sind, so dass mühsame Hotelreparaturen perfekt sind!
