Wir hatten unsere Hochzeit hier ab Juni 30 - Juli 1. Wir buchten mehr als 2 Zimmer. 5 Jahre im Voraus und arbeiteten mit Antonella während des gesamten Prozesses. Sie war erstaunlich, mit zu arbeiten und sehr empfehlen, eine Hochzeit in Borgo zu haben! Wir vermieten das ganze Eigentum ausschließlich für uns und Gästen für das Wochenende. Die Grundstücke sind so schön mit Blick auf den ganzen Borgo. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön mit einem rustikalen Tuskan Gefühl. Antonella und das gesamte Borgo Personal arbeiteten mit uns zusammen, um unser Hochzeitsende perfekt zu machen. Im letzten Moment mussten wir die Abendessensoren wegen Regen ändern, und das Personal war schnell, um alle Tische in der Innenstadt zu ändern. Ich hatte Gäste zu mir kommen und sagen, das war die beste Hochzeit, die sie je hatten. Wir werden zum Borgo für unsere Geburtstagstag zurückkehren!

We stayed 2 quiet nights in Hotel Lido and enjoyed our stay. Clean room with standard comfort, airco, fridge.. Good location at walking distance from the trainstation and very close to the harbour where the boats for trips on lago Trasimeno are leaving. Close to shops and restaurants too. Very kindly people working at the hotel. Good breakfast buffet with all you need. Location of the hotel at the lake is super and the small swimmingpool with bar, sunloungers and view over the lake is a bonus. Have a look at the sunset there! Recommended. Good price, quality.

Ottimo albergo con stupenda vista sul lago. Giardino curato in modo naturale con scelta di piante mediterranee. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile a risolvere tutto. Buona colazione senza artifici. Spesso semplicità e naturalezza sono l'arma vincente. Consiglio certamente.

110% - above and beyond/cannot recommend highly enough. Stefano speaks first class English and the team went out of the way and succeeded in ensuring I enjoyed my stay here. It has a wonderful clean good sized swimming pool. It was also wonderful to have a large ground floor room with outside seated area. The location is wonderful being between station and main town. There is also good parking right outside the property. Taxis available from train station before 6pm or alternatively easy 20 minute walk. I left on a Sunday so Stefano kindly ran me to the station complimentary as no taxis were available. Castiglione del Lago itself is a small but beautiful town with lakeside areas and you can even rent a boat. There are ferries to the nearby island Isola Maggiore which is wonderful with it's church, history and tourist shops. Great location also for quick and cheap train rides into the nearby town of Cortona and good location for trains to other hill-towns e.g. Orvieto. Breakfast was wonderful- cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, pastries accompanied by coffee- I enjoyed their cappuccinos and you could even receive a top up for free. I hope that I will be fortunate enough to return one day. Stefano was extremely helpful from the beginning of the booking process to departure at the train station. Grazie mille Stefano and team.
