Wunderbare Location. Management kämpft etwas um den 5 Sterne- Standard im Service- Level. Leicht ineffizient und dysfunctional. Aber man kämpft tapfer und das Refugium ist zauberhaft und einzigartig genug gelegen, zudem geschmackvoll eingerichtet und insgesamt sympathisch, ich wäre immer wieder gerne zu Gast!

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es Jahreszeit und ein langer Sommer für das Personal war, aber die Tatsache, dass es sich bei diesem Hotel um ein 5-Sterne-Boutique-Hotel handelt, war insgesamt enttäuschend. Es gab nicht den aufmerksamen Service, den man von einem erstklassigen Hotel erwarten würde. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Hotel nicht nur im Hinblick auf das Personal, sondern auch auf die Einrichtung und die Gebäude etwas veraltet war. Außerdem hatten wir ein sehr bequemes Bett und ein großes Zimmer. Es war ruhig und das Hotel hat eine gute Anbindung an Cascais (ca. 40 Minuten zu Fuß und es gibt einen Fahrradverleih).
Die Spa-Einrichtungen sind ziemlich durchschnittlich, aber sauber.
Aufgrund des Kosten-/Erfahrungsverhältnisses würden wir uns in Zukunft für andere Optionen entscheiden – leider ist es eine Enttäuschung.

4 Übernachtungen im Rahmen der Teilnahme am jährlichen Ironman Cascais. Das Personal war fabelhaft und aufmerksam auf alle unsere Wünsche. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und entspannend mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Tatiana und ihre Kollegen an der Rezeption waren sehr hilfsbereit und buchten alle unsere Restaurantreservierungen und den Fahrradverleih. Montagabend in Lissabon und das Personal hätte nicht aufmerksamer und freundlicher sein können. Das Zimmer war gut gepflegt und sauber und hatte einen sehr hohen Standard.

Hotel mit mehreren Villen. Unseres war schön, perfekter Garten und Swimmingpool. Perfektes Frühstück. Unser Einzelbett war eher klein. Das Bad und die Dusche müssen renoviert oder repariert werden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Fahrräder zum Mieten sind nicht gut. Gehen Sie lieber zum Yachthafen.

We went for New Year's Eve (we arrived the day before) and booked a room on the booking app which had photos that didn't match reality at all. The room was shabby, the sheets were full of holes, the television was too old. There was a lack of ammenities, slippers, the air conditioning took too long to work and we heard other guests complaining about it. The Turkish bath didn't work and the spa closes at 6 p.m. We arrived at the spa on the first day and it was as shown in the picture, with a couple drinking and smoking inside, even drinking alcohol in the pool. I don't know how they got in with the beers, or how it took us to get there to report the situation. We complained to reception, and the next day they were still going to enter the spa with alcohol. I don't recommend it, it wasn't a good experience at all. We arrived at 10am for breakfast and everything was empty. Not worth the money.

This is a truly lovely boutique hotel, with a beautiful garden often used for weddings. The ambience is relaxed and charming. The rooms are decorated with style, especially in the Villa rooms. In the main building the style is more traditional. The service is exceptional. The cuisine for lunch is also wonderful - the problem being that there is no bar or restaurant after 18.00. Overall a very charming hotel, to which I will return regularly.

Lovely hotel with an excellent view across the sea (ask for a front-facing room). If only the weather had been better, we'd have made better use of the balcony and outdoor swimming pool; as it was, the indoor pool and gymn were a good consolation prize.

Lovely hotel and setting but not to 5 star standard. Beautiful landscaping but rooms are dated. Carpet was old and dirty and no wifi in our room (703). Location requires a car/taking taxi as a long walk into Cascais and no dining at hotel in the evening. Nice pool area and buffet breakfast choice was good.

Not a five star hotel. Room was nice, with a balcony and a lovely view of the sea, but we paid extra for that. Bathroom was small, much smaller than in other rooms. No restaurant after 6pm and no bar after 7pm. Extra charges for everything, if they rang a taxi for you they charged €4! Chocolate bar from the mini bar was €6! We had a lovely time because we were attending a wedding, but I wouldn't go back for a regular holiday to be honest.
