Zentrale Lage - Innenstadt und Tafelberg in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Super Ausstattung, top Service und 1A ‚Betreuung‘. Danke Emmy. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. Wenn überhaupt ist anzumerken, dass durch die zentrale Lage auch abends/ nachts teilweise der Stadtverkehr zu hören ist. Uns hat es aber nicht wirklich gestört.

This gem of a place is perfect from start to finish. The greeting from Emmy the owner was so warm and welcoming. With her local knowledge she ensured that we knew where all the major sights were before we went out. With so many restaurants within walking distance we were spoilt for choice. Each apartment is more like a full size house on its own. Clean, well equipped, safe and secure. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely, relaxing stay at 5 Camp St. Emmy was very friendly and welcoming. Our three bedroom apartment was perfect for our family and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are a good size apart from the master en-suite bathroom which is tiny! We hope to stay again on our next trip to Cape Town.

I was really lucky to find this place. It is in a wonderful area of Cape Town with views of Table Mountain from the street and the property. It is a beautiful property - I stayed in two of the self-contained apartments and both were equally lovely and comfortable. It is close to Kloof Street - which, as a solo traveller, I felt safe walking along and you can also easily walk to the Company Gardens where you can access all sorts of museums and cultural activities. Kloof Street has an array of wonderful restaurants and cafes and there's a small shopping centre with a well-stocked supermarket for your needs. Emmy - the host was caring and helpful and made lots of good suggestions. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms lovely. The place was spotlessly clean too.

A lovely guesthouse in a safe neighborhood. Our apartment (no 4) had three spacious bedrooms and a terrace near the pool. The service to order groceries before arrival was super, we arrived very late at night and everything was there. Very friendly staff!

5 Camp Street is a great location in the heart of Cape Town within easy walking distance of local restaurants & 10 mins by car to the Waterfront & Table Mountain. Comfortable, clean, spacious accommodation with pool available for various different sized parties, and useful honesty bar. Emmy the host was very welcoming, informative & advised us about local amenities.

Stayed for 4 nights after arriving in SA. Host was great, good communication before and met on arrival to give us local information and help plan trip. Stayed in 2 bed apartment, clean comfortable and perfect for family of 4 with large kitchen and living room. Secure parking and great location, would def stay here again.

If anyone is thinking of going to Cape Town and staying in a hotel-think again! This guesthouse gives you all the luxury you would expect from a very good hotel with a lot more space, the house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and very central for all the many attractions that Cape Town has to offer. Emmy who runs the guesthouse is a wonderful person who goes way beyond what you would expect to ensure that you are comfortable, she also has a passion for her homeland and is very knowledgeable. Without Emmy's input our holiday wouldn't have been anywhere near as enjoyable.

5 Camp street guesthouse was very well located near the base of table mountain in a cosmopolitan style foody area. It was only a short Uber ride into the Waterfront and close to a Hop on Hop off bus stop. The place was roomy, well appointed and spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom. Emmy was welcoming, informative and extremely friendly. The room was a little cool at times due to a combination of load shedding and electrical circuitry.
