Great location within the walls of the colonial city of Campeche. Our room was one floor above the lobby and this made it difficult to bring our luggage up without an elevator. The room was adequate with a stand alone closet and drawers for storage. Beds were decent. Our room overlooked Calle 12. The bathroom was tiny and dated. The shower cramped, awkward and dangerous entering or exiting as it is easy to slip on the wet floor. My travelling companion found the shower head to be too low. The most annoying aspect of our stay was the lack of privacy in that we could easily hear other guests' conversations, using their bathrooms, showers, etc. The hotel did include an American breakfast each morning in an adjacent dining room. The offering included three choices of cooked eggs, accompanied by white bread toast and choice of fruit of the day or orange juice. Orange juice is your best option. Of course, weak coffee was included with complimentary top up. The insult was asking for milk which cost an additional 20 pesos. Cheap in my opinion. My rating, a very dated 2 1/2 star tourist class hotel with its best advantage being location and off street parking (which we did not use). Service staff certainly tried their best and were happy to help which made our stay more bearable. There is also a small travel agency/tour office on site. We will stay elsewhere next time we visit the beautiful city of Campeche.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und vor dem Hotel ist große Parkplätze. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und neu eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer war groß genug, es hatte sogar einen Haartrockner. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Frühstück war gut. Am Abend liefen sie aus heißem Wasser für Dusche. Das WLAN im Zimmer funktionierte nicht.

Das Hotel Plaza Colonial war ideal für unseren 2-Nacht-Besuch in Campeche. Bei der Lage nur wenige Blocks vom Hauptplatz war es sehr sauber, komfortabel und das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfreich. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal für die Erforschung dieser schönen Stadt. Die Baluarte-Wände, Malecon, Hauptplatz und mehrere gute Museen sind alle in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung. Wir gingen auch ganz auf dem Weg nach Fuerte de San Miguel (4km+-) und zurück, am Wasserfront am meisten der Straße. Ihr Museum war wunderbar, wie auch der kleine Mayan, der gerade hinter dem Gouverneur Palast im Platz ist. Es gibt viele nette Restaurants In der Stadt, und ein kleiner Backwarenshop zwei Türen vom Hotel entfernt, das leckere Süß-/Geschmackvollen Teelöffel verkauft. Zwei Restaurants empfehlen wir: La Parilla Colonial Campeche und La Maria Cocina Peninsula.

Das Hotel Navigantes wird für seine Lage innerhalb der verblendeten Stadt empfohlen. Das Restaurant- und Bar-Gebiet liegt 4 Quadrat entfernt. Die Einrichtungen sind gut, aber es gibt nicht viel natürliches Licht in den Zimmern. Das Personal im Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es bietet sichere Parkplätze und einen Kaffee- und Teestation 24 Stunden.
