Where to start with this gem of sunshine! Location. Arrived into Girona Airport with a 35 minute drive to Kaktus Hotel, calella! Hotel Checked into a Urban room with Balcony Street View, room massive, clean and modern, plenty of storage, king size bed, large light windows with electronic screens for privacy, refrigerator, TV, Telephone, safe, WIFI, desk, sofa. Beds were spacious and super comfy! A little outside noise, but nothing to intrusive. The Hotel offers two pools, we paid extra for the Sky Lounge and worth every penny, breathtaking sea views, panoramic pool and plenty of sun loungers. We paid 20 euro a day, but free if you are staying in the suite or nature rooms. For 20 euro we had great views, great service and occasionally complimentary treats, croissants, champagne, fruit juice. We had lunch every day and the food was exceptional. Food The breakfast buffet was nothing I had seen before for a hotel, the abundance of food on offer and quality was out of this world! The restaurant was super clean, staff lovely and friendly. As a vegetarian, I was well catered for. Best buffet I had ever had, wished more hotels would follow the same quality and standard. Nighttime The roof top bar is a great place to relax, have a drink and look out at the stars! Overall I loved it, it was a weekend break and I can't wait to book again! If you want to go and relax with the beach on your doorstep, this is just the place!

It is with considerable disappointment that I pen this review. Our experience at SANT JORDI, a purported 5-star property, fell drastically short of our expectations and has left us questioning the credibility of its rating. Upon our late-night arrival, we were eager to unwind and revel in the luxury amenities, especially the bathtub, which was a pivotal factor in our selection of this hotel. However, the excitement quickly morphed into disillusionment when we encountered a large, unsightly brown stain on the side of the bath, resembling feces. This egregious lapse in cleanliness prompted immediate communication with the reception, an interaction we hadn’t anticipated. Our subsequent meticulous inspection of the room uncovered more shortcomings: black mold inhabited the shower area, posing a severe health and safety risk. Furthermore, the water tap, when operated, emitted a noise so intrusive that it had the potential to disrupt the slumber of other guests within proximity. These occurrences were not only inconvenient but also reprehensible, considering the supposed standing of the hotel. Our concerns, articulated at check-out, were met with assurances of a full refund for the inconveniences suffered. Despite this promise, the refund is yet to materialize, adding to our grievances. Our stay at SANT JORDI was marred by unacceptable cleanliness standards, glaring maintenance oversights, and unfulfilled promises, all incongruent with the hotel's purported stature. We left feeling deceived and distressed, far from the rejuvenating experience we sought. It's imperative for prospective guests to approach with caution and for the management to institute immediate rectifications, lest the hotel’s reputation suffers irreversible damage. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

Normalerweise sehr gut, sie erlaubten mir einen späten checkout und wechselten mich von Zimmer, weil ich nicht ein Doppelbett war, wie ich in der Beschreibung von trip.com darin auch ein Badewanne war, aber es gab keine ... Die Sauberkeit war gut, sehr bequem Bett, gute Lage, vielleicht weniger Frühstück, manchmal fehlte er etwas Wahl, um ein 4-Sterne-Stern zu sein, alles war zu einfach, aber der Herr, der im Abschnitt der Eier und Creps gemacht zu diesem Zeitpunkt war sehr nett (Yusef), im Allgemeinen. Das Spa weiß ich nicht, wo es ist, und sie beziehen sich nicht darauf. Daher scheint es mir etwas unnötig, dass es sich um Hotel & Spa nennt.

Sehr nettes Personal, spricht Spanisch, Englisch und teilweise auch Deutsch. Frühstück und Abendessen ist umfangreich, frisch und lecker, für jeden was dabei (auch laktosefrei, glutenfrei, vegetarisch, Pommes und Nuggets für Kinder), spanische Spezialitäten und vieles mehr um allen Gästen gerecht zu werden. Innenhof mit Pool und vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Im Innenbereich/Eingangsbereich eine Bar, Billardtisch, allgemeine Toiletten und wöchentliches Unterhaltungsprogramm. Auf Anfrage kann man in den Fitnessbereich und die Sauna. Hotel ist nah am Stand und nicht weit vom Bahnhof; mit dem Zug kann man in etwa einer halben Stunde in Barcelona sein. Klein aber fein, teils alt aber gemütlich!

Dieses Hotel verfügt über eine fantastische Strandlage in einem ruhigen und attraktiven Bereich in der Nähe von Geschäften und anderen Attraktionen von Calella. Vor dem Hotel ist eine Zuglinie, aber es störte uns nicht. Unser Standardzimmer war grundsätzlich, aber ohne Spott sauber mit ausgezeichneter Klimaanlage. Wir blieben halb Bord und konnten bei jedem Essen etwas finden, das uns gefällt. Das Frühstücksumschlag und die Backwaren waren besonders gut. Das Personal war schön und hilfsbereit und im Allgemeinen genossen wir wirklich die ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre des Hotels. Danke Hotel Espanya - wir werden sicherlich nächstes Jahr zurück sein 😀

Estupenda estancia en apartamento Casablanca en Calella, suite totalmente equipada con enseres y mobiliario moderno, baño espectacular y cama muy cómoda, la limpieza también digna de mencionar. La atención del Sr. Jaume espectacular, buena ubicación para visitar la costa del Maresme, 100% recomendable
