The hotel is situated a few metres from the Gara de Nord railways station and underground station, so it is very easy to reach. The check-in procedure was fast, room clean with a large bed, toilet, shower, TV set, hairdryer etc. The door is card-operated, mine unfortunately didn´t work properly, so I had to go to the reception desk twice but the girl was really helpful. Breakfast is served in the adjacent building from 7 .00 to 10.30, quite a good range of things to choose from. Wi-fi connection strong and stable. Next time in Bucharest I will definitely try to get a room here again.

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

Ich habe im Mai einen 4-Nacht-Unterkunft in diesem Hotel gebucht und warum ich es reservierte, weil ich die Liste der Hotels von Accor mit einem Exekutivlounge anschaute, das Novotel Bucharest als eine Lounge zeigte. Als ich ankam und fragte, wo die Lounge war, wurde mir gesagt, dass es keine war und es nie wieder nach Covid geöffnet wurde. Das war eine große Enttäuschung und vor allem bedeutete ich kein kostenloses Frühstück. Trotz dieser wurde ich upgradiert und das Zimmer hatte eine Minibar mit Bier und Snacks, die täglich kostenlos und voll ausgefüllt war. Dies war großartig und ein wirklich schöner Vorteil. Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön und ist so nah an die alte Stadt. Mein Freund Zimmer war auf dem 10. Stock und völlig ruhig, so dass es gut war. Ich aß ein Abendessen im Restaurant und ich war riesig beeindruckt mit den günstigen Preisen, eine große Auswahl an traditionellen Speisen und der wirklich freundlichen und effizienten Service. Ich dachte, es war ein hervorragender Wert. Insgesamt, ein tolles Hotel. Empfohlen.

Sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegenes Hotel, sehr gute Erreichbarkeit mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Tiefgarage ganz in der Nähe vorhanden, 8,00 € am Tag. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders möchte ich ROBERT erwähnen, sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Extrawünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt. Die Bar ist in den Abendstunden sehr zu empfehlen. Wir sind nicht das erste Mal hier und werden ganz sicher wieder kommen.

Das Hotelzimmer hatte alles, was nötig war, und die Größe war normal. Das Bett ist sehr komfortabel. Sie servieren auch Frühstück am Morgen, wo Sie mehrere Buffet-Produkte finden können. Und das Hotelpersonal war sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt nicht in der Nähe des Zentrums, aber der Bushaltestand ist 2 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt. Auch, wenn Sie vom Flughafen kommen, hat sie eine gute Lage. Ich würde es noch einmal wiederholen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here recently for a quick getaway and were not disappointed in the least. From the moment the online reservation was made, the staff communuicated via email asking about airport trasnfers and tours as well as any other requests that we may have. Andrea, Alex and Christian all went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. From offering suggestions for things to do, restaurants to eat at or just basic conversation about the area, all of them were extremely helpful and never seemed too busy to chat. We also enjoyed seeing the resident cat, Tom, hanging about in the lobby. We had the Nautica room and found it to be both comfortable and spacious. The bed provided a good night's sleep and the room darkening shades almost worked too well. Other reviews have commented on noise from outside being too loud but we did not really have any issues. We did hear some noise from the restaurant downstairs but most of it was over by 10pm and we never did hear any nightclub noises, however we were not there over a weekend. My only criticism of the room (and this is a personal issue) was that the theme of the room allowed for a window to be placed between the bedroom area and the bathroom such that someone using the toilet could be seen by anyone in the room from certain areas. It may be fine for a couple but as we were a mother-daughter, it was a bit awkward although we did find a solution and managed. Other rooms may not have this configuration. Breakfast was simple but good. Most days had the pretty much the same offerings but there were a few items changed each day so there was some variety. They arranged a private tour for us to visit Bran Castle, Peles Castle, and Brasov with a quick stop at Cantacuzino Castle where the Netflix series Wednesday was filmed. The locations themselves were nice to visit, but what made the tour the most fun for us was our tour guide, Serban. He was extremely energetic and well versed in the history of Romania. We could have booked a group tour, but Serban made the private so fun that it was well worth the extra expense. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to most of the touristy things to do and some excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Bucharest.

Modernes neu gebautes Hotel. Wirkt steril und unpersönlich. Nur Glas, Beton und Stahl. So war auch unser Zimmer eingerichtet. Nicht ein Stück aus Holz, alles kalt und abweisend. Relativ kleines Zimmer aber super Bad. Das Restaurant in der obersten Etage bot einen super Blick auf die Stadt. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war kalt und dem Ambiente nicht angemessen. Man wollte wohl etwas exklusives auf den Tisch bringen aber das ist völlig misslungen.

Das Hotel hat einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Wahrheit war, das Fenster sah in den Innenhof des Hotels und die Leute bewegten sich hinter dem Fenster, vielleicht ist das das ”Zimmer mit Blick”??? Das Restaurant ist sehr lecker und es ist genug auf dem ”schwedischen Tisch”, wenn nicht sehr genug zu sagen und es ist auf irgendeinen Geschmack :). Minibar habe ich nicht verwendet, und ich verstehe nicht ganz, warum ich gebeten wurde, zwei Mieten mit einem Penny zu zahlen, Vielleicht für Seife und Champagner???

Das Hotel befindet sich am Rande des Stadtgebiets von Bukarest. Es gibt ein großes Einkaufszentrum, das weniger als zwei Kilometer entfernt ist. Es gibt 10 Züge zum Flughafen Uber, ungefähr 35 Linien und ungefähr 25 in die Altstadt. Der rumänische Konsum ist wirklich gut, im Vergleich zu Westeuropa ist er ein Paradies
