We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

Die Umgebung ist in Ordnung, das Zimmer ist recht ordentlich, das Licht im Bad ist etwas dunkel, die 24-Stunden-Rezeption, der Service ist in Ordnung, es gibt einen Parkplatz, aber da wir nicht gefahren sind, haben wir es nicht getan Verstehe, es gab keine Landschaft, weil es hohe Gebäude gibt, aber darunter gibt es leckere Restaurants und Supermärkte. Die Einkaufsstraße erreichen Sie in 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Viele Geschäfte umfassen Luxusgeschäfte, Restaurants, Bars. Es ist auch ein empfehlenswertes Hotel. Überqueren Sie die Brücke nach unten zum gegenüberliegenden Southbank und dem berühmten Brisbane Sign. , Daneben steht ein Riesenrad, ein Fotospot

Wir waren über eine Woche hier und es war insgesamt sehr komfortabel. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit 6 Etagenbetten, das eine anständige Größe hatte und sehr komfortabel war, solange Ihre Mitbewohner gut waren. Es war mitten im Sommer heiß, aber es gab eine Klimaanlage, die sehr dazu beitrug, gut zu schlafen. Für eine Aufbewahrung neben einem Bett benötigen Sie ein eigenes kleines Schloss, das Sie an der Rezeption kaufen können, wenn Sie es nicht haben. Das Gebäude wird jeden Tag gereinigt und gepflegt, so dass ich mich nicht unwohl gefühlt habe, einen Essbereich, Küchen, Duschen und Toiletten zu benutzen. Ich glaube, dies ist eines der saubersten Hostels für Rucksacktouristen in Brisbane. Der einzige Nachteil ist eine Lage. Während es auf einem Hügel liegt, von dem aus man einen guten Blick über die Stadt hat, liegt es etwas weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und man muss einen Hügel hinauf zur Herberge laufen. Wenn Sie viel Gepäck haben, sollten Sie vielleicht Uber oder einen Elektroroller verwenden. Nicht zuletzt waren die Mitarbeiter vor Ort alle nett und großartig. Sie müssten sich in dieser Hinsicht keine Sorgen machen.

A nice modern room with all the amenities to go with it. Comfortable, clean, amazing shower and views, amazing staff and ample parking though not free. Near to public transportation, coffee shop on the ground floor and abundant retail shops nearby.

Ich habe vor kurzem zwei Nächte im Doppelbett des Präsidenten Brooke gelebt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche in der Küche, sowie einen Tisch und einen Balkon, die die Stadt aus dem Balkon besichtigen können. Alles ist sehr sauber, gut gespeichert, die Empfänger sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfreich. Die Parkstelle ist etwas nervös, aber es gibt kein großes Problem. Ich werde sicher wieder leben.

Very happy with this hotel. It is located about 6-8 minutes' walk from Central station where the Airtrain stops and many other regional trains stop as well. Also striking distance from the CBD with many dining options during the day, though the area becomes quite quiet come 7pm or so. Room is clean, of a decent size. Breakfast, which I believe is included in most rates, is also fairly good, with at least 3 hot dishes on rotation and the usual continental breakfast options (the croissants they procure are really good!) Recommended if you get a decent rare (A$160-180 is a good rate).

What a great experience at The Point, very warm and welcoming staff to greet us first time, and then always wanting to help. Dining at the Lambert Resto was also awesome! Wonderful and warm service, thanks Joe and Yvonne for the lovely experience. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to just pop into Brissy for a short business trip to stay here! Waren 4 N in diesen Grandhotel mit Charme der vergangenen Zeit. Sehr sehr freundliches Personal und mit grandioser Lage am Park von Brisbane. Das war riesig mit 2! großen Betten , Schreibtisch und großer Ablagefläche, Teppichboden und etwas plüschig. Eindeutig größter Platz auf unserer Reise. Das Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber top sauber ! Einmal im Hotel gefrühstückt , was auch sehr lecker war. Dankeschön an das Team . Haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
