KKathiemaeEin wirklich gutes Hotel mit einer tollen Lage. Es ist sehr wandelbar, ca. 2 km zu Registan Square und umgeben von vielen Märkten und lokalen Restaurants. Alles, was wir brauchen, war in der Gegend, was unser Aufenthalt sehr bequem und angenehm machte.
Das Bett war super komfortabel und das Zimmer fühlte sich sehr freundlich, perfekt für Ruhe nach einem langen Tag aus. Insgesamt liebten wir unser Aufenthalt hier und würden glücklich diesen Ort wieder wählen. Eine solide Wahl für jemand, der nach Komfort, Komfort und einem schönen lokalen Vibe sucht.

YYutuEin sehr gutes Hotel, aber es scheint in dieser Saison sehr verlassen zu sein. Wir waren die einzigen mit Frühstück, aber das hatte keinen Einfluss auf die Reichhaltigkeit und Köstlichkeit des Frühstücks. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und fragte viele Male nach meinem Aufenthalt.

GGastnutzerWe are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.”
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!

CCanton KennedyThe hostel is inside quiet alley of the old city, which needs like 10 min walk from any bus/tram stations but easy to locate nevertheless.
All rooms are facing the inner countryard so it’s quiet and peaceful. Room (and bed) is large and A/C is strong. Private bathroom is tiny but functioning with hot shower and hair dryer.
Breakfast is good and drinking water is available to refill.
Receptionist/manager/staff are all friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and sightseeing suggestions.

Das Zimmer ist schön, komfortabel und eine tolle Dusche. Keine Kessel oder Kühlschrank leider. WLAN ist gut. Alles in allem kann ich nicht beschweren - ich hatte hier einen schönen Aufenthalt.

MMladenowskiWe were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand.

GGastnutzerI have to say we will give the reception guy 6 stars up to five. We have to catch up the train in the early morning around 1am, so that we need to stay in the lounge for around 4hours.The reception guy, with my great respect and grateful, stay up the whole night with us, no rest and give water and turn on for us. In the end, support us for communicating with the driver and carry the luggages for us, with no tips(sorry we dont have change cash at that moments)

RRamonLocation: excellent! It is in the same building complex as the Art Gallery Happy Bird, mentioned in Tripadvisor. Registan is about 300 m away, so after dinner I would walk there to see the illumination.
My room had 2 twin beds, was rather small but comfortable. Upon opening the windows, a cool breeze entered the room. Wi-fi was reliable and there was a water boiler for tea.
Breakfast was abundant and good. The cook, Dishoda, would make me an omelette every morning. In the same building there are restaurants and fast food/ice cream joints.
On my last day I took the train to Khiva, which departs at 11:46. The hotel allowed me to stay in the TV room, with wifi access, water and toilet facilities, for 10 hours after check out. I recommend Hotel Dyor.

SSylvia TeohI didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.
