Das ist eines der besten Hotels, die ich jemals gehabt habe. Es ist früher als Rosewood Yangon bekannt und wurde nun für 8 Monate wiedergeöffnet. Alles ist hervorragend, sehr freundlich, geduldig und hilfsbereites Personal, außergewöhnliche Service. Die Geschichte des Hotels geht zurück bis 1927, so dass es absolut ein historisches Gebäude ist. Die Dekoration ist sehr exquisit, das Frühstück ist schmecklich und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten. Die Lage ist auch gut und sicher, sehr nahe Sule Plaza, General Post Office und British Embassy. Auf der Terrasse können Sie die River view sehen. Ich möchte insbesondere meinen Dank an Vanessa und Swar ausdrücken, sie haben mir eine Menge detaillierte Informationen gegeben, damit ich mehr über dieses Hotel, diese Stadt und dieses Land wissen kann. Nice, clean and quiet place to stay in Yangon…very comfortable that they have everything like swimming pool, gym, restaurants and bar…every time i came to Yangon i only booked this hotel.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Meliã Yangon and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel is located in a peaceful area by Inya Lake, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy downtown traffic. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and if you get a lake-view room, the scenery is especially nice. Everything was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled efficiently. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both local and international options, and the quality of the food was consistently good. The hotel also has great facilities, including a nice pool, a well-equipped gym, and good dining options. Overall, Meliã Yangon offers a great balance of comfort, service, and value in a calm and scenic setting. I would happily stay here again.

Das Hotelzimmer ist schön und sauber, aber der Aufzug riecht wie jemand rauchte. Ich habe für 2 Personen gebucht, aber während des Frühstücks wurde mir angenähert, zu informieren, dass mein Begleiter nicht registriert ist und nicht für das Frühstück berechtigt ist, letztlich, Front Desk löste das Problem.

As a solo female traveler, I truly appreciated the hotel’s professional travel information and thoughtful safety reminders. They made me feel well-supported throughout my entire stay in Yangon. The staff were always kind, attentive, and ready to help whenever I had questions about transportation or places to visit. Thanks to their guidance, everything went smoothly and I felt very safe exploring the city on my own. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay in Yangon.

Warnung: Hauptsprachenbarrieren und Rauchprobleme in diesem neuen Hotel Während dieses neu errichtete Hotel ist, war ich schockiert, weil es an einem 5-star Firmenhaus in Yangon nicht an Englisch Qualifikationen gelang. Das Front-Desk-Personal sprach nur Mandarin und Burnmese. Ironischerweise war der IT-Techniker die einzige Person, die ein wenig Englisch verstand, der einzige Erlösungsfaktor für die Kommunikation. Wichtige Fragen für internationale Reisende: Sprachbarriere: Es ist nicht zu erwarten, Englisch mit der Rezeption zu verwenden, sondern es ist vor allem ein Mandarin-sprechendes Umfeld. Rauchenverordnung: Trotz der Zeichen ”Kein Rauchen” im Lobbyraum waren die Gäste auf den Kaffeetafeln offen rauchen. Ich traf auch Gäste, die in den Hallen rauchen und Aufzugslobbys auf den Gästeboden. Es fühlte sich so, als ob ich in China war, statt in Myanmar. Essen: Das Frühstücksbuffet ist chinesisch-stil. Es gab überhaupt keine birmanischen Nahrungsmittel oder Getränkemöglichkeiten. Zimmerbedingungen: Mein Zimmer hatte einen anhaltenden Duft von Rauch und war voller Moskitos. Dies ist wahrscheinlich, weil die Hausaufbewahrung die Türen während der Reinigung breit geöffnet.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und zufriedenstellend. Ich bin froh, dass ich zu einem vernünftigen Preis übernachten konnte und mein Zimmer aufgewertet wurde. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass die Dusche nicht stark genug war und ich meinen Körper nicht richtig waschen konnte.
