Approaching through leafy pathways and lotus ponds, guests are welcomed into an oasis that feels far removed from the bustle of downtown Yangon.
Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, featuring polished teak floors, four-poster beds, and traditional Burmese textiles that reflect the building’s heritage. Balconies overlook either the lush gardens or the inviting fan-shaped swimming pool, creating a sense of calm retreat. The service is consistently warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive, with staff eager to share local knowledge and assist with arrangements.

KKitt SGIt's 100% a 5 star hotel. The service is exceptional. The 90 mins body scrub at their spa is one of the most value for money I've experienced and I have paid for a lot of premium spa experiences across Southeast Asia.
There's a shower with a aesthetic stool for those who can't stand for long complete with a door. There's also a spacious bath that is separate from the shower and the toilet.
Seating after seating after seating. A bench at the foot of our twin bed. Perfect for putting on socks while sitting down. There's 2 dining chairs for a table that comfortably fits two and there's still a chaise beside the window and lastly a backless chair for a side table that doubles as your vanity.They included 2 dining plates and even silverware in the drawers under the minibar. 2 teacups along with 2 glasses.
The rooftop pool and the gym has a separate shower stalls and restroom stalls with an electric dryer for your swimsuits. Phenomenal. Staff are always stationed there at all times for any aid you may request of them. There's also a steam room which we used.

GGastnutzerI stayed at Melia with my family and from check in to check out we had a fantastic stay. Most of the staff were really obliging and helpful with a special note to Coe and her team in the Market Restaurant who ensured our breakfasts meals were always comfortable and our needs catered for. The hotel is situated near the picturesque Inya Lake and we had a Lake view room which made the morning wake up extra special. Melia is also next door to the Myanmar Plaza mall where there are plenty of shops, including a super market and the top floor has an extensive food court. Though if you wished to stay and eat at the hotel there are a number of restaurants in the hotel serving outstanding dishes. For the amenities there are a number of bars and a lounge on the top floor - though this is only available to those who have a specific room. During our stay we also made use of the swimming pool and the gym. Both very clean and well maintained with the gym having a good variety of equipment and fresh towels and water to hand. Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and should we return to Yangon, Melia is a place we would certainly consider staying at again.

Wie alte Style-Langleinenschlüsselkette zurück in den 80er Jahren . Großes Frühstücksbuffet und genießen Sie es. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel selbst ist alt, daher sind auch die Zimmer alt, aber der Balkon in den oberen Stockwerken bietet eine schöne Aussicht und eine ruhige Atmosphäre.
Der einzige Nachteil ist der gelegentliche Stromausfall für wenige Minuten, aber das ist angesichts der Umstände im Land unvermeidlich.
Das Frühstück war auch gut, da ich es in Ruhe genießen konnte und das Essen nicht schlecht war.
Während meines Aufenthalts fand eine Veranstaltung statt, die anscheinend eine Mitgliederversammlung des Golfclubs war, daher war die Lobby an diesem Morgen ziemlich überfüllt.

GGastnutzerI booked a premier double room with city view Queen size bed via Trip.com The room I booked had a balcony, but when I checked in, it turned out that the room I got did not have a balcony, so I complained to the staff. The staff were happy to upgrade me to a room with a balcony. They were very enthusiastic. I really like the room. The room is spacious and comfortable. The price is not as expensive as you think. The hotel is located near Kandawgyi Lake. You can walk to Kandawgyi park for exercise or relax. However, there is no safe in the room. For those visiting Yangon, I recommend staying at this hotel.

Ich bin froh, dass ich zu einem vernünftigen Preis übernachten konnte und mein Zimmer aufgewertet wurde. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass die Dusche nicht stark genug war und ich meinen Körper nicht richtig waschen konnte.
