Das ist eines der besten Hotels, die ich jemals gehabt habe. Es ist früher als Rosewood Yangon bekannt und wurde nun für 8 Monate wiedergeöffnet. Alles ist hervorragend, sehr freundlich, geduldig und hilfsbereites Personal, außergewöhnliche Service. Die Geschichte des Hotels geht zurück bis 1927, so dass es absolut ein historisches Gebäude ist. Die Dekoration ist sehr exquisit, das Frühstück ist schmecklich und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten. Die Lage ist auch gut und sicher, sehr nahe Sule Plaza, General Post Office und British Embassy. Auf der Terrasse können Sie die River view sehen. Ich möchte insbesondere meinen Dank an Vanessa und Swar ausdrücken, sie haben mir eine Menge detaillierte Informationen gegeben, damit ich mehr über dieses Hotel, diese Stadt und dieses Land wissen kann. I had a very good stay at Melia Yangon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lobby is big and beautiful, creating a great first impression. My room was very clean with a nice view, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with many good options to choose from. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangon.

Hotel Room are nice and clean, however the elevator smells like someone was smoking. I booked for 2 person, however, during breakfast, I was approached to be inform that my companion is not registered and not entitled for the breakfast, eventually, front desk settled the issue.

Warning: Major language barriers and smoking issues at this new hotel While this is a newly built hotel, I was shocked by the lack of English proficiency at a 5-star establishment in Yangon. The front desk staff spoke only Mandarin and Burnmese. Ironically, the IT technician was the only person who understood a bit of English, which was the only redeeming factor regarding communication. Key issues for international travelers: Language Barrier: Do not expect to use English with the reception; it is primarily a Mandarin-speaking environment. Smoking Regulation: Despite ”No Smoking” signs in the lobby lounge, guests were smoking openly on the coffee tables. I also encountered guests smoking in the hallways and elevator lobbies on the guest floors. It felt as though I was in China rather than Myanmar. Dining: The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese-style. There were no Burmese food or drink options available at all. Room Condition: My room had a persistent smell of smoke and was full of mosquitoes. This is likely because housekeeping leaves the doors wide open during cleaning.

The hotel is clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is decent and since the breakfast hall is on the top floor, the view is nice. Location is good with convenience shop and a small mall within reasonable walking distance. Highly recommended for those looking for a place with value for money.

Die Lage ist gut, praktisch, es gibt Geschäfte, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Cafés, in der Nähe von Shwedagon, nicht weit. Die Zimmer sind in gewissem Maße in Ordnung, für den Preis angemessen. Aber es ist ein besserer Ort zum Übernachten. Andere Hotels mit günstigen Preisen Ebenso sind die meisten von ihnen Burmesen. Weil es in der Nähe ist Krankenhaus auch, aber das WLAN ist nicht so stark. Soll ich eine Internet-SIM kaufen? Kommen Sie und nutzen Sie es für die Leute, die bleiben werden.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war äußerst hilfsbereit und hat mich durch die Stadt geführt und mir alle meine Wünsche erfüllt. An meinen letzten Tagen in Yangon war ich krank, und das Personal hat mir mit einem späten Check-out geholfen. Ich bin für ihre Hilfe und Unterstützung sowie den äußerst guten Service sehr dankbar. Das Hotel liegt mitten in Chinatown, in der Nähe gibt es viele Geschäfte und Straßenhändler, die Lebensmittel und frisches Obst anbieten. Das Hotel ist fußläufig von der Innenstadt und der Sule-Pagode erreichbar.
