AAstrxdThe environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

YYoubaomeiDas Zimmer ist groß und sauber, die Doppelbetten sind weich und hart und schlafen in der Mitte und der Terrasse ist eine hervorragende Sicht auf den Ort. Am Abend ist der kleine Wind und die kleinen Blumenblumen mit dem Abend, die Einrichtungen sind komplett, die Hygiene ist vorhanden und die Reise-Wohnungserfahrung über die Erwartungen hinaus.

GGastnutzerDie Pension, in der ich dieses Mal wohnte, war eine wunderbare Überraschung auf meiner Reise – eher ein gemütliches kleines Zuhause versteckt in den Bergen. Die Besitzer waren unglaublich herzlich, riefen im Voraus an, um sich nach meinen Reiseplänen zu erkundigen, und halfen mir mit meinem Gepäck.
Die Pension war frisch renoviert, und die Zimmer waren natürlich blitzsauber und ordentlich. Die Bettwäsche war unglaublich weich und bequem, sogar noch bequemer als zu Hause, sodass alle meine Bedenken bezüglich der Unterkunft im Dorf völlig ausgeräumt waren. Außerdem war die Lage äußerst praktisch, mit Cafés auf beiden Seiten – ein Traum für jeden Kaffeeliebhaber! Nach zwei Nächten würde ich definitiv noch zwei weitere bleiben.
Wenn ich wiederkomme, werde ich diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder wählen, und ich freue mich schon jetzt auf nächstes Jahr!

MAJOR ISSUE - Smoke Everywhere:
The corridor constantly smelled of smoke. Men smoked in the lobby - some appeared to be affiliated with ownership as they treated the place like their own property and staff spoke to them like friends or family. Staff did absolutely nothing to enforce no-smoking policies even after being told. People also smoked in the corridor, and I could smell it from my small window even on the top floor.
MAJOR ISSUE - Constant Noise:
Lobby and corridors always noisy with loud customers
Same men from lobby playing phone calls or video games on speaker very loudly
Guests constantly slamming doors at all hours, including early morning - very inconsiderate
Large groups being very noisy in corridors
Rooster on neighboring rooftop starting early morning (first day)
Very regular loud banging noise from ceiling in my room (first day)
Drilling noise next door during the day for extended periods
Friday night: company party in conference room with dozens of people screaming VERY loud for hours, continuing well into sleep time hours. They were smoking too.
Service Issues:
Reception staff during check-in seemed unwilling to serve me because I'm not Chinese, making it more difficult for them. I've stayed at plenty of hotels across all Chinese provinces where staff use translation tools - it's not that hard. The service was quite chaotic and time/energy consuming for me.
I was told I could request housekeeping at a specific time, so I did. More than one hour later nothing was done, so I asked again and was told ”housekeeping is having lunch now.”
Food delivery via robot malfunctioned; food ended up back at reception inside the robot and I had to queue to ask about it
Cleanliness Concerns:
Cutleries such as forks and spoons in breakfast room looked very dirty
Tea mugs in my room had tea residue still in them - they clean the mugs in the sink with their finger which is gross
Mini fridge drinks not replenished after first night
Facility Issues:
Swimming pool closed despite online information saying it should be open
Common areas including lobby very cold with no heating - people dress like they're outside. Not comfortable, convenient, or homey
Firm mattress (personal preference)
Shower handle won't stay in place, keeps moving to the side
Limited storage space in room
Breakfast finishes a bit early at 10am. Food looks fresh, some egg options if you're vegetarian, but it's mostly Chinese food so quite oily. Cakes are very nice though, seem fresh and well-made.
Would not recommend - the smoke and noise issues alone make this place impossible to rest properly.

Das Zimmer ist sehr intelligent, super bequem und kostenlos, der Halle-Rezeption ist auch sehr intim. Ich möchte eine Nachtstunde und frage mich, ob ich alles versuchen möchte. Das Badezimmer ist trocken gescheiden, sehr gut, neben normalen Wäschemaschines ist auch ein einziges Wäschemaschine ausgestattet, Das Zimmer bietet auch gutes Geschirr.
Gehen Sie aus dem Büro und holen Sie Ihre Gepäcktasche zurück.

Ich kann keinen Fisch fangen Wenn ich den Berg hinauffahre, gebe ich dem Essen im Restaurant 80 Punkte, aber der Service im Restaurant gefällt mir nicht. Es gibt eine sehr nette Köchin, die die Gerichte großartig schmecken lässt 👍👍
Eine Erinnerung an meine fahrenden Freunde: Es kann sein, dass Sie von einem Auto angefahren werden und es keine Möglichkeit gibt, Ihre Beschwerden wiedergutzumachen. Die Straße war leicht zu begehen, aber es gab noch zu viele Kurven Langsamer. Vor der Rezeption von Aini Manor gibt es eine Reihe von Parkplätzen. Da es sich um einen Mietwagen handelt, habe ich mich besonders um ihn gekümmert. Nach dem Abendessen am Abend, als ich eincheckte, überprüfte ich das Ganze Als ich am nächsten Tag um 10 Uhr auscheckte, stellte ich überrascht fest, dass sich das Auto auf der rechten Seite des Autos befand. Es gab von Anfang an einen Kratzer bis zum Ende (Vorderrad-Kotflügel zu Hinterrad-Kotflügel). Es sieht nicht nach einer versehentlichen Berührung aus, sondern fühlt sich absichtlich an. Dann habe ich Zhao, den Manager der Villa, gefunden und die Überwachungskamera überprüft (nur der Parkplatz direkt gegenüber dem Eingang zur Lobby ist deutlich zu sehen, da es draußen keine Überwachung gibt und er nur durch die Innenüberwachung gesehen werden kann). . Mein Auto war nicht direkt davor geparkt, sodass die Überwachungskamera es nicht erkennen konnte. Ich rief die Polizei an, konnte aber nicht darauf warten, dass die Polizei nach zwei Stunden kam, denn ich hatte keine andere Wahl, als ein paar Stunden zu opfern, um eine hohe Geldstrafe zu vermeiden, wenn ich das Auto zurückgab Autowerkstätten in der Nähe haben es selbst poliert. Es kostet 100 Yuan. Room and amenities:

- The view is striking in the evenings, especially with the colorful LED lights from the neighboring hotel building.

Check-in and dining:
- Check-in was fast.
- We were offered one breakfast for two people for free during our two-night stay.
- Free ice cream in the hall was a pleasant surprise.

- The minibar/fridge is not present, which is common in some hotels in China.

Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.
Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.
The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.
The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this.
Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.
Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.
We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.
Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.
For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.
