AAnonymer BenutzerNiemand hielt die Gepäcktasche beim Hotel ab. Ein Mitarbeiter war beschäftigt mit dem Fahrgastwagen. Beim Rezeptor ist es auch sehr offiziell, die Einstellung des Personals zu bleiben, nicht kalt oder enthusiastisch zu sprechen. Ich und meine Freunde haben zwei Zimmer mit ihren Kindern jeweils festgelegt, und es wurde gesagt, dass sie nicht im selben Stock sind, dass sie Geld erhöhen müssen, um auf denselben Stock zu setzen, ohne ein Gefühl der Familienfreundlichkeit, Die allgemeine Qualität des Services ist nicht groß. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, der Korridor am Tor ist relativ klein, der Geräusch ist generell isoliert, der Kühlschrank ist sehr groß und kann auch die Stimme der U-Bahn hören. Baraussicht im 17. Stock ist gut, der Cocktail hat auch gute Eigenschaften. Die geografische Lage ist sehr bequem, die Ausfahrt ist die berühmte Straße und das Museum.

NNgMoonIch war zunächst besorgniserregend über den Aufenthalt in einem ”alten” Hotel, aber meine Sorgen kamen zu Ruhe. Es war ähnlich einem Cottage-Thema mit sehr sauberen Zimmern und angemessenen Einrichtungen. Personal war immer sehr freundlich, Wir begrüßen uns, wenn wir das Hotel verlassen und zurückkehren, und reagieren unverzüglich auf unsere Hausaufbewahrungsanfragen. 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt, gibt es einen Park mit einem ruhigen Fluss, ein toller Ort zum Ruhen und von der berufsmäßigen Stadtleben zurück. Der nächste Bahnhof ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß und ein 30-45 Minuten Autofahrt nach der Stadt. Einige Nebenanlagen, es gibt neben dem im Hotel keine nebenangelegenen Restaurants und keine nebenangelegenen Supermärkte. Die Werkzeuge wurden nicht im Zimmer angeboten, so bereit zu sein, Ihre eigene Satte. Hotellifts scheinen ein wenig ausgeschaltet, aber hatten nicht unterbrochen während meines Aufenthalts. Insgesamt genossen ich meinen Aufenthalt angesichts der ruhigen Umgebung und erstaunlichen Service. Ich würde in Zukunft zurückkehren bedenken

GGastnutzerWas very tired wanted a little rest from home, asked for late check out to catch up on sleep. Regular check out is 11:00 AM we were granted 12:30 PM. At 9:15 AM housekeeping was on the floor banging doors very loud, speaking loudly and knocking on doors while guests were not ready to leave. They had a fire drill and that came with audio music like in the room was very loud and unpleasant. First time experiencing this maybe it’s a protocol.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

LLivyC75The hotel was a glamorous stay right in the heart of Toronto. There’s a feeling of old luxury in the rooms and the lobby. The room had been renovated recently but they’re much smaller than newer hotels and only just fits a couple and luggage. The amenities were good, and we used the small sauna and steam room. Everything about the hotel was great despite being so compact. The toiletries provided were by Le Labo, but the scent is very strong and can be overpowering for some if you don’t bring your own.

No bottled water or coffee/tea in rooms.
They sent up a kettle but no mugs or teas bags so a bit pointless. Room service didn’t have any vegetarian options.
Very Comfortable bed and big TV, but only cable channels, would be nice to provide Netflix or other streaming apps.

GGastnutzerBeim Namen Radisson Blu denken viele an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel, doch meine Erfahrung dort war alles andere als erfreulich. Die Missverständnisse begannen bereits beim Einchecken. Auf Trip.com stand, dass ein Frühstücksbuffet für 25 Dollar pro Person angeboten wird, doch auf Nachfrage hieß es, es gäbe nur À-la-carte-Frühstück und müsse im Restaurant bezahlt werden. Ein Buffet gab es gar nicht. Ich sollte eine E-Mail schreiben, um die Angaben auf Trip.com zu bestätigen. Leider erhielt ich bis zur Frühstückszeit (8-11 Uhr) keine Antwort, und so bekamen wir morgens kein Frühstück.
Das Zimmer war okay, aber nicht so aufregend, wie man es von einem Radisson Blu erwarten würde. Ich habe schon in Radisson Blu Hotels in anderen Ländern übernachtet, aber die Zimmerqualität dort ist nicht mit der des Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown vergleichbar. Das Zimmer dort ist wie in jedem x-beliebigen Hotel. Die Kaffeemaschine war total verdreckt. Als wir uns an der Rezeption beschwerten, wurde uns kein Ersatz geschickt. Außerdem fehlten die Zahnputzsets, die in 4-Sterne-Hotels eigentlich Standard sein sollten. Erst nach Nachfrage an der Rezeption erhielten wir welche, etwa eine Stunde später. Beim Auschecken stellte sich heraus, dass die Rezeptionistin eine Praktikantin war. Ich zeigte ihr ein Foto der verschmutzten Kaffeemaschine und erklärte unsere Unzufriedenheit. Sie meinte, sie könne keine Entschädigung leisten, da das Zimmer im Voraus bezahlt sei. Stattdessen bot sie mir eine Flasche Wasser für unsere Reise an 😄. Ich meine, ich brauche keine Wasserflasche als Entschädigung. Dann bot sie mir an, dass das Parken kostenlos sei. Jetzt warte ich auf die Rückerstattung meiner 100 Dollar Kaution. Abgesehen davon ist die Lage des Hotels wirklich super und praktisch. Mitten im Stadtzentrum. Der CN Tower war direkt vom Fenster unseres Zimmers aus zu sehen. Alles in allem entspricht das Hotel nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels.

GGastnutzerI decided to stay in a 4 room mixed hostel for 3 nights. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff. Check in was very easy. The staff were very helpful as this is my 2nd time staying in a hostel. They explained how the hostel works and what was expected and how to access the different parts of the rooms and were I would be staying. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I was provided with a keycard which provided me access to the hostel. The hostel appears to be very secure due to the keycard system as you need to use it to access different sections of the hostel (main check in room, common room, hostel floor levels, hostel rooms, etc). I was very happy about this as it provides some level of safety for those staying there.
The room I stayed in was clean. Beds were nice and clean. Beds also had a night light to use for reading and multiple electrical outlets. Lockers were provided in the room and were nice and big to store your personal belongings such as clothes and backpacks, etc. Room was warm and easy to breathe in.
Free Wifi was good and signal strength worked through out the entire hostel so I could access simple internet and messages if needed.
Showers were clean as was the bathrooms on the floor I was provided. Free clean towels are available upon request. Shower room had shampoo and bodywash available which was nice to see.
2 Nice common rooms to sit down and watch tv or just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
There is a nice big common kitchen room with 2 stoves, 2 big sinks and 2 huge refrigerators. The hostel has lots of plates, utensil, appliances and various household items you would find in your kitchen at home. The hostel kitchen was well stocked. Kitchen was clean and organized and could accommodate lots of people. Nice fridge to store your items that need refrigeration.
The area in which the hostel was located was very nice as everything was within walking distance of less then 5 minutes to 10 minutes. This includes many restaurants, convenience stores, coffee stores, grocery stores, banks and much more. The stores all seemed to operate late hours and some were 24 hours.
Free breakfast was provided which was nice. Simple but nothing extravagant. Various types of bagels, cream cheese, various cereals, fruits, fresh coffee, tea and other items you would expect.
The only downside was the furnace/heater mounted in the corner of the room was loud at night and seemed like it was on its last legs as it sounded like car engine. Staff were friendly and said they could provide me another room in the morning if it was a problem and said they would let management to look into heater for repair.
The only thing I could say I would recommend to the hostel is for any type of improvement to have some safety grab bars installed in the stand in shower room stall as the floor does become slippery.
Other then that the hostel was nice, safe and staff were friendly/helpful, clean and everyone staying there was friendly or quite as well.
The price was affordable and I would honestly recommend this place if you needed a place to stay without breaking the bank.
Would honestly give 4.5/5 for based on my stay.

GGastnutzerI did not have a good experience this time because it was super noisy, drilling sound and construction, not to mentioned testing the fire alarm and the loud speaker blasting with a message about testing the alarm every few hours. This construction was scheduledto run for a whole week.
Have they informed me about the scheduled construction before taking my money, I would have chosen a quiet place for my stay.
I like this place but I was very disappointed this time.

YyspppppppDas Raumklima ist sehr gut, das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig, das Waschbecken ist sehr groß und es gibt eine Badewanne und eine Dusche im Badezimmer. Die Landschaft rund um das Hotel ist angenehm. Vom Balkon aus kann man die Skyline von DT in der Ferne sehen. Es kann an der Struktur des Hotels liegen, dass die Länge des Bettes kürzer ist als das Standard-Kingsize-Bett. Das Einzige, was mich unzufrieden macht, ist, dass das Hotel, wenn die Check-out-Zeit naht, die laute zentrale Klimaanlage einschaltet, die zu anderen Zeiten nie eingeschaltet wurde, wahrscheinlich um die Kunden zu wecken, und sie auch anruft, um sie daran zu erinnern pünktlich auszuchecken 😭 Das habe ich noch nie in einem kanadischen Hotel erlebt. Meiner Meinung nach ist es ziemlich nervig.
