Henann Lagoon Resort

Coming from Henan Regency, this hotel is not as impressive as it was! I chose this because it’s what Instagram suggested and when we were there, it never met my expectation. Location is so poor! You have to go all the way to the back door which is near the main road to go to a different path to the beach. It will be a long walk then to the beach, and the roads outside the hotel aren’t cemented, usually broken and narrow. The room seems small for us, and we thought I booked a room that has an access to the pool, but it wasn’t. It was on the 2F, and also it’s far from the lift. Food was okay, and the staff were nice tho. One time, I couldn’t see my mom on the beach, so I had to go back to the room and I had no card, they opened it for me tho. I would rate this hotel from 1-10 as 4 or 5. It’s a copycat when it comes to the pools of Regency, but Regency is way better than this. That’s it. Not highly recommended. Eddy

I will give 4.5 rate for the breakfast buffet, pool and cleanliness. 3.5 for the location as the hotel is not in the beach front, rooms were okay but without slippers. Staffs were very accommodating.

Walking distance to the beach. Beautiful rooms, great ambiance in the hotel dining room and bar. The food was great especially the champurrado. We will come again!

Location: 5 minutes walk to the beach front. It's also near the X station. Food: Their buffet breakfast are delicious, but their pre order meals are not that great. We talked with some guests and they have the same comments. Cleanliness: The place is clean and the pool is also cleaned every morning by vacuum. Amenities: Gym was closed during our stay maybe due to pandemic. The family room is spacious.

henann lagoon is very classy and beautiful. our room was superb and spacious and the staffs are friendly. we were given a room good for 3pax but we're just a couple. their pool is very nice too. they have free hygiene kit and towels but they do not give out room slippers and bath robe. but its okay. there is a 2000 pesos per night deposit so if you will be staying 3days 2 nights then you will need to provide 4000 for the deposit. just make sure to keep your deposit slip. we were given a pool view room and i love it so much. it is so relaxing at night to stay at the balcony. their free breakfast is also good which starts as early as 6am. They offer a wide range of food for breakfast from filipino breakfasts up and western as well. regarding the location, if you are on a diy and you prefer not to hire an airport transfer, you can ride a public cab which cost 25 pesos only going to the hotel. just tell the driver to drop you at henann lagoon and they will make sure that you will get off in front of the hotel. The hotel is just along the main road so it is not difficult for first timers to find the place. banks, restaurants and stores are also nearby. beach is like a 5-6 minute walk from the hotel. so if you wanna go to the beach make sure you have all the things you need like your phone, wallet, hat, sunglasses or whatever important things you need to bring with you since the hotel is not near to the beach and might take you a while for you to go back if you missed something. overall, i am happy with my stay and would definitely recommend.

The service was just so so…seems like my request (when I booked it) wasnt given attention at all.
